After looking over some Suikoden collections, I began to think... How much do you think some of these complete sets are worth, and how much will they be worth in the future? O_O Geez. (Not that I'd want to sell my Suikoden stuff anyways... ^^; )

Nice one! I wish I have those Strategy Guides and Artbook! I like to have those in my collection.

I think they'll worth a lot in the Future maybe 50x of present prevailing price. That's what I like about Suikoden and Konami. They don't release excessive number of copies and avoid making Greates Hit version of Suikoden. It adds to the collector value and rarity

Now how to get those Strategy Guide books and artbook! It's so hard to buy in ebay for me living outside the US I'm glad I was able to buy those figures locally

That's one of the things I don't like about Konami and the Suikoden series. I'd rather have the games be accessible to fans and people who want to play them for a resonable price, rather than having the collectors value of my copies go up, as if I'm going to sell them anyway.

I don't have much of a collection myself. Only Suikoden 1 - 5, and some pirated versions.
No books or guides. =/

Um, I notice you were pluralizing 'strategy guide.' The only one there that's a strategy guide is the one for Suikoden V, in the back. The rest are just the booklets that come in the cases. ^^;

I got the strategy guide for, like, half price or something, by simply buying it with the game on the release date. And the artbook? Free. XD No joke. I asked the dude at the counter about it when purchasing the game and guide, and he was just like, "Take it." They just had a rack of them that they were giving away, I guess, for promotional purposes.

Oh, and that Suikoden V Limited Edition Soundtrack (seen to the left of the guide) was also part of the promo package. It was just the artbook and the soundtrack folded up in that little booklet thing. (I prefer some of the LE Soundtrack's versions of certain songs over the OST's versions, actually. Haha.)

I agree about the whole availability thing, though. I'd rather have them more available, and for a reasonable price. One thing I like about Suikoden, though, is that they seem to stick around the $40 price upon release, which is cool. About $10 less than many other games these days. Hah.

Hey I know this is kinda OT now. Say ayone can help me buy the Strategy Guide book and artbook as well of Suikoden V before I ran out ? As a Suikoden Fan and old time member here I promised I won't scam you I swear by the name of Suikoden! I'll pay!

Well, if I was American, I could take a look at it, but alas. The game isn't even released over here and I doubt we will be getting any of those artbooks or whatsoever.

wow. all i have is suikoden3, and 5 games. i reallky havn't even seen anything eles for the series except for suikoden 4, which i'd like to play but heard from some people that it wasn't that good though.

Meh, I don't have anything outside of the games. I'll have to keep an eye out and see what I come up with I guess. But you guys have a great collection.

I think its safe to say i have the best damn collection of all of RPG dreamers, including, Suikoden 3, Suikoden 3 DVD, Suikoden 3 Instruction Manual and a sheet of paper where i have written Suikoden phonetically. Do any of you have a sheet of paper where i have written suikoden phonetically? NO.

This is has to be the most absurd price of a Suikoden 1 to 4 collection for a price of $ 1125.00 at ebay. Even they're still factory seal and all the nice things to say about the item - 1125 is totally illogical. Well the highest bidder is still new and it won't probably sold. The bidder has a negative ffeedback for not complying on his past purchase/auction won.

Ridiculous. Even with everything factory seald and all, the most that could probably go for is maybe $600-700 tops. A factory sealed copy of II can go for around $300-500 alone, I don't think the original could go for more than $100, and I doubt the other two could total up to much more than $100. (Suikoden III's the only one of those two that would sell for a decent price. I doubt anybody even wants IV, hah.)

Hahaha, that amount is rather insane, whoever is buyinmg that, he's better of buying them one by one.

I have all the games with the stragety guides to 2, 4, and 5 and some promo stuff that came with the games. I don't have any of the other books or figures though, I might be interested in getting some of them if I ran across them. I'm working on getting a guide to 1 and as far as I know they never made a guide for 3. Sorry I don't have a pic but my digital cameras messed up and I'm sure everybody seen all that stuff before anyway.

There is a Strategy Guide for 3 but in Japanese text.

You have to be an IDIOT to spend that kind of MONEY on 4 games. 2 of which is STILL being produced by Konami that you can buy all at one time for under 80$! IMO skip Suikoden I, that crapass game. It's ALL about Suikoden II - that's where the REAL collectors value is.

Anyway, you know I'm not much of a RL picture person so I'm going to list my "collection".

I have 2 sealed suikoden 1 pal (first is pal uk, and the second is pal spain) I bought the first one by mistake, but I like it XD. Some day I´ll complete my suikoden collection buying a castle! xDDDDD

Oh yeah there would be a series two of the Suikoden Play Art Figure (Action Figures) and the first in line is Lyon of Suikoden V

tat suikoden II poster is a Limited Collectors Edition Poster... Only the first 1500 Copies of suikoden thru out the world havs it along... Which means only 1500 posters only... The singapore only has 15 of them... its really really really really rare O.O... sigh... i don't hav it either... i play suiko II 1 yr after the game is published in s'pore...

Haha. I wear 'em in public all the time. Not like anybody other than my friends know what Suikoden is anyway. XD Anyway, as for making 'em, I just got them done on CafePress. Nifty li'l site there. I'm definitely planning to use it for more shirts like these in the future.

I'm sad to say I would never even dream of selling anything I own that is suikoden. I know it's geeky but these are my children haha. If you are planning on buying Suikoden III sealed, I just saw a few on ebay for some cheap prices. If you haven't purchased any sealed games from ebay before, make sure to ask the seller some questions first before you buy. For example; Are there any cracks or dents in the case? Are there any rips or tears in the seals? Are there stickers or price tags on it? Is the authentication strip on the top of the case still? Is the disc loose inside the case? and lastly, always ask to see pictures of the game before, from different angles. If they don't give you the answers you were hoping for, wait for the next copy on ebay .

I am not impressed by sealed games, cause I buy games to play, not to have them stand on a shelf.
You would impress me more by showing either knowledge or skills in the game.

Anyway, since I won't be taking a picture of my collection anytime soon, I'll just post my collection instead.

Suikoden Manga 1-9

I am ordering the figurines and that is my collection, just the basic stuff, cause I have never paid time in getting those franchise things, the only franchise thing I really want is a Suikoden I-pod with the Soul Eater symbol on it.

I have all of them except 2. As they never made it a greatest hits its harder than hell to find 1 without paying 90 to 150 bucks on ebay that may or may not be dmged goods.

Although my intent isnt to impress you, I do however play the games religiously. I own playable copies of each of the games and have beaten all of them at least twice, with the exception of V which I am on my second play thru right now. Also, I have beaten Suikoden I + II at least 4 or 5 times each when I was younger. I dont have much time to play video games anymore, so Suikoden is really the only series I keep up on, and will always. Just because I keep sealed copies of the games doesnt make me any less of a fan. It just means I am a collector as well.

Well, this is a show off thread, so yeah..I think the purpose of showing your collection in this thread is to impress each other.
But I just find having sealed copies of games, not wanting to touch them and then having a second copy to play that one a tad ridiculous.

Not saying you are any less of a fan, it is just how I feel about sealed games. I do not have much time to play games either, but I beated each game quite alot, but that doesn't proof anything.
