Okay, I did a little check of 'who's where' and sketched a small map to nail some locations down. I'll do a digital version of it later and post it up so it'll be less confusing for everyone. ^^

For now, we mostly have chars in border town Ti'Aurthan (me, Sydra, Dart and Shadows) and human stronghold Ti'Lethan (Ember and Sasu, and please do interact!). Cresi will need to 'land' Liam somewhere, and eh... Vidula's location is rather vague. Fanelia's chars too, but I heard that you and Timmers have plans. I think I need to get Vex to post. o.o

Oh yeah, by the way, I noticed something when I was checking back and decided to clarify this. There are two councils of sorcerors. One of them is the Council of High Sorcerors, with fifty-two members and is sometimes known as the Circle. It helps out the High Council of Sorcerors of twelve members who make the most important decisions for the magical community.

Syiana and Rhys's sister are in the Circle, while Syiana's mother and the Ti'Lethan King are in the High Council (at different times). I'm thinking of it confusing people being a running joke among the sorcerors.

Lastly, the Extinction happened approximately 70 years ago. I'll eventually get to this in the IC, but I know I'll forget, so I'm posting it here first. Hope it helps. ^^;

The following is a bit rambling, so forgive me.

I think I’m enjoying this role just a bit much. It is a rather different role from the ones I usually play, so please let me know if I become annoying.

This pattern is normal for Samuel. He will rely on his reputation and shows of force to get his way. Only truly employing his skills if that fails.

Samuel needs some time to think about what is going on. He is not dumb (he is a gunsmith and therefore technical), he just prefers to plow forward and think later.

He is being a bit rude, but he does not consider these people friends, so he doesn't care. He is much nicer to his friends, but as you can tell it takes a very special kind of person to put up with all of his antics long enough to become friends.

Am I making it too hard for Samuel to realized what is going on? I mean if I was thrown back into the past I think it would be hard for me to figure out what was going on. I mean how far down is "I'm in the past!" on the list of logical reasons for what is going on? It is even worse for Samuel because things which he deems as fantasy these people consider reality. Am I thinking to much, or am I right that it will take a something big for him to come to terms with what is going on?

Lastly, do not expect this frequency of posting to continue, I’ve had some free time the last few days and I can’t help but respond to everyone reactions to Samuel.

As for Fernand, he has some authority in Ti'Aurthan because of his recent services to the town, but he has more eccentric and 'loner style' behaviour that will come through soon.

When Fernand first discovers that he is a Role, his focus in talents will begin to shift away from the usual sword and spell combination to eventually becoming a fully adept sorcerer and leaving his sword behind.
Being that Fernand is currently a Spellsword though, he has an acute sense of danger in its many forms. It won't take long for Fernand to feel the danger of the demons that have been following Samuel, but whether or not he decides to take action is another matter.
Essentially, Fernand becomes an eccentric, and being that he is an Incomplete Soul as well he doesn't feel particularly responsible for many people besides himself, and it means he's more of a mercenary than a true soldier against the demons. Following his opportunities and instinct instead of a direct cause.

That's pretty much his mindset.

I'll say that so far, all his reactions are normal and fits his personality. If I put myself in his shoes, I probably will only come to accept all that if something really big and undeniable happens right in my face. Don't worry, Syiana is also in denial, only she does it differently.

I don't have much to tell about Syiana except she will be listening attentively to their conversation, despite still being very pissed with Samuel. Her attitude towards him will be even more textbook polite, bordering on being cold. That should be enough for now, if anyone wishes to interact with her in your posts.

I should post in the IC, I absolutely should, but I'm very dead tired right now and although I have considered the possibility of producing two IC posts (Call of the Fire included) with a half-comatose brain, I figure it will be better if I make one after I wake up eight hours later. X_x Sorry for making you guys wait.

.... I have absolutely no idea whether to move Ingrad's ass out of Ti'Lethan to seek the rest. Some quick notes about Ingrad.
1. Feeling very pressurized.
2. A bit frenzy at the moment, so ticking him off would probably result in erm... circumsized?(if male)
3. EMO EMO, nah.

The most logical is to search (or do a check or something) in the area first before moving on, no? So I say it'll be better if your char stays in Ti'Lethan. At least there are other characters there for you to interact with. But it's still your choice.

Eventually, the group will be leaving Ti'Aurthan, where should they head via through with means. I have some concern about throwing off timelines if the character go by foot.

By foot will be quite a problem. We'll take it that the characters go by horses then? Will it be better?

Wow, this weekend was a wash. Nothing big, just playing last man standing with a virus at my house.

Just wanted to drop a quick note that I will post tommorow after work (and try to work in an angle that was requested of me). I have not fallen off the face of the world, just got busy for a bit.

For those who are unaware, I'm about to initiate a little bit of my own plot twist at the Tavern, so I'll try to have my post up as soon as possible. If it isn't up soon though, I'd appreciate it if everyone remained in the present time at the tavern before making their characters go to sleep or anything, so that I may keep my opportunity to post.

My bad memory struck again. I completely forgot to give some details regarding the map I made. T-T I hope it's not too late now.

The part on the right is the current Scarred Lands, and the brown line in the middle is the current Borders. The cities (labelled with red) on these side are either ruins or under the demon's control at present times. The slightly brownish areas used to be forests.

Port city Ti'Meril was the largest human city (kinda like the Minas Tirith of LOTR), and the river beside it is the Meril River. Ti'Valmes is the third largest, after Ti'Lethan. El'Briven (not on the map), which I mentioned in a IC post, was one of the three elven forests, and used to be the first line of defense of Luriean against the demons of Scarred Lands.

Mt Draca was home to a number of the dragons, phoenixes, phoenians and dwarves, but that was before the Extinction and the war. But it and Nil'Noere are now ruins (confirmed, which is why I label them as yellow). The remaining three species have moved to Mt Dubrien and Ti'Lethan. The river there is Parle River. The unicorns moved into the deepest parts of El'Lerione, hiding even from the elves.

I imagine that some of the cities may be rebuilt in the future.

It's a double post but it is kind of important for the RPers whose chars were with Syiana. Dart completely forgot about Syiana's staff (a five feet long simple mithril and silver staff with a diamond-shaped sapphire stuck at the top and a sharp pointed end). ^^; So either it's still in the tavern or it's at the well. Most probably at the well, but which ever fits your plot line better. Do pick it up for her please.

I don't want to mess up the timeline by posting for Syiana yet, so most likely, I'll cook something up for an important NPC.

Hmm.. can we downgrade Samuel from drunk to tipsy? He will still have his reflexes but will actually have to work to make his body preform the way he wants (and it will not be 100%). Plus, if he starts seeing demons, he will think he is drunk!

Samuel would normally nurse only a few drinks becuase he values his reflexes too much. He more enjoys the atmosphere, than the drinking. Though he has had a very rough day, so I have no problem saying he has a few too many. Besides it will be fun to have him pissed off at himself...

When I get a post up (most likely tommorow, maybe tonight), we will see the advantage and disadvantage of Samuel. He can dispatch many foes very quickly. However, reloading can be a painfully slow process :) . I bring this up ahead of time to prevent cries of god-modding when Samuel takes down several people (crippiling only) without breaking a sweat.

Nice job Dart and Sel, I'm dying to see what comes of the abduction.

Nanaira is nothing if not determined and stubborn. She will want to track Syiana down. Samuel refuses to go with, She'll leave Kalrion to take him probably to Ti'Lethan while she hunts down Syiana. Or it could be possible that Kalrion will defy her and knock her before she gets a chance to go after them.

I don't know what your plans for you characters are, lemme know what works best.

I'm not sure about Dart's part, but for Syiana, I have plans up until Nil'Noere, and whatever happens after, I'm going with the flow and according to her (Syiana's) wishes.

But I'll safely say that somehow, all of our characters will end up in Ti'Lethan, one way or another. Or another major city.

Lol I don't mind if Nanaira tries to track down Fernand and Syiana. It will probably take them longer to arrive at the ruins anyway, with one horse and no travel supplies.

So why is Fernand going there, so unprepared? Basically I want it to be the place where he discovers he is an 'Incomplete Soul'.

If you want another clue, remember Fernand forgot to check out of the tavern, leaving most of his belongings still in his room. And remember the Innkeeper at the tavern knows who Fernand is, if you ask around town about him.

Also, he forgot to collect his money from the town's bank, but depending on the way things go he may not come back for it anyway.

As for the vial, Fernand likes to 'trip' sometimes...

Yes, I know getting hit with a corpse is disgusting, but I honestly think the ogre would throw whatever is at hand, so… and no I have no idea what effect this is going to have on Samuel yet (most likely knock him down, maybe off the wall?) at the very least I’d imagine he is unconscious as getting hit with a 150 something pound sack of meat would probably hurt.

The lesson for today kids? Do not stop to brag before you win, someone might throw a corpse at you.

Cresi, where exactly was Vidula? I assumed it was some elven forest but it takes at least one day on the horseback from either El'Lerione or El'Rune to where Rhys is, at Ti'Lethan. Unless Rhys somehow flew to the elven forests, or there's somehow a elven village in the small forest around Ti'Lethan, your post doesn't fit well.

Hmm I am not sure if Rhys flew at all, I felt like alot of the details that were posted before I did were a little bit sketchy to me. what I saw in the post was him dashing/gliding in a blind persuit for freedom and traveling about with a baby griffon more vivdly expressing his emotions /feelings and what is happening to him than what progress in to what ever land he made. so it would be thought he would travel in to elven lands easily since some strong holds at times (in past and what not) were on edges of borders and what not plus one could think that magical creatures would raise their cubs in safer spots. Since there are rarely anything about elves being truely abhorring as in killing for sport like humans. So I went out on a limb to fit my post on it or to figure out how to get my character from point A to point B in a few thousand words with making it look like godmoding or making a ridiculously long post that would tire eyes out. I can edit it if you wish it so I can add in more time that was spent traveling to Rhys position in vidula's vigilant serch for things for alchemy and storage.

Hmm, you'll have to discuss that with Ember to see which location you guys can agree on. I'm just peachy about the amount of time Vidula took if the location is outside of Ti'Lethan.

I'm sorry my post was sketchy... ^^;; I've had major writer's block lately, and just for the record, yeah, my post was utter crap. Um... So yeah, maybe I shoulda had Rhys move more. But I thought it would be tedious to have him walk... I hate writing journeys down... I'm impatient and tend towards saying things like, two days later, he arrived in town (that kinda thing) since I'm not too in tune with nature and loathe describing things unless they are people.

Not too long, but whether or not Fernand goes with everyone to Ti'Lethan is another matter. His bio explains that he is wanted for several murders in Ti'Lethan, so any trips for him would be made incognito.

The side-trip to Nil'Noere hopefully won't take too long, but we can't be sure. I'm working on a post for some NPCs and to wake Syiana up. The time in the RP for my post will be the morning of the next day.

Class: Lord/Fencer

Distinguishable Marks: His two different colored pupils are probably his most distinguishable point, although he also wears a black eye patch as well which is often covering a certain eye, which eye however is often varying.

General Appearance: Abel has messy shoulder-length hair which is predominately light green but with darker streaks here and there. Abel's has a baby face, with a soft smile and kind expression. He's slim but unusually short for an elf and is about as tall as a 14 year old human, although this only adds to his childish charm. However, when Abel becomes Adel, his smile twists into a malign grin and his expression becomes much sharper.

Weapon of choice: Abel wields a thin rapier and a small buckler.

Clothing: Abel wears clothing fitting of a prince, a long dark blue robe stretches to his knees although it is only buttoned to from his neck to his waist, leaving the unbuttoned section to split in two at his lower body. The robe is long sleeved and has golden laces lined on it, along with golden shoulder pads and a high collar with a frill. His long pants are also a dark blue and are tucked in his black, golden laced, boots. His rapier is slung in a scabbard on his side and an eye patch is worn on one of either eyes.

Personality: Abel and Adel are two separate entities and as such have two different and completely contrasting personalities. Abel is a kind-hearted and soft-spoken boy, who is very shy and insecure. He tends to blush easily and can be extremely timid, apologizing for almost every slight. Adel on the other hand is vicious and bloodthirsty, with a cunning and fierce nature; he hates everyone around him, believing all others are incompetent. Adel often uses foul language and doesn’t hesitate to mock others, especially when the're already down.

Biography: Although Abel and Adel share the same body, it was originally just Abel who was in possession of the body. Born to nobility, Abel was raised strictly as the heir to the Lorelei estate; this meant he was tutored, taught manners and swordsmanship under the fierce threat of a whip. Whenever he failed to accomplish something perfectly, he met with the sharp sting of a whip at the hands of his teachers, over and over again and although he begged for his father, mother and sister to help him, to not hurt him anymore, his pleads met deaf ears.

Alone in his hell, Abel begun to withdraw within himself; finding it harder and harder to talk to people without getting frightened. He was unable to oppose his family's abuse and he became insecure and weak. It became so bad, that for five days he was unable to move or talk. Of course, during these five days, he was beaten harshly in an attempt to make him active again.

On the last day in which Abel’s heart had shut down, a voice called to him from inside. It was a harsh voice, a cruel and devious voice, but regardles, it was a strong voice. It said to him “Are you going to do nothing? Will you not fight?” When Abel did not reply, the voice continued, “Very well, if you will not fight, then I will fight for you and I will be strong for someone as weak as you…” That was the day Adel surfaced, Abel's twin, who shares the same body.

When Adel rose, he killed the man whose turn it was to beat Abel's body into motion. Wringing the man’s neck, Adel smiled with a twisted pleasure. That day marked the beginning of a demon. From that day forward, Abel and Adel were treated with fear and disgust, people avoided him; however, he was no longer beaten and even his family made an effort to treat him with respect. Of course, out of fear of what he was capable of and not love.

So Abel and Adel survive, trusting only in each other, they survive. For now, all they can do is survive, until the day they both know will come eventually, the day when they will meet that special person who will accept them and love them, both of them, for who they are…

Note:
-Adel will surface when there is a desperate situation, or simply, when their eye patch is covering the aqua eye. Similarly, Abel is in control of the body when the eye patch is covering the red eye.
-Abel and Adel are not dual personalities of the same person, they actually are two people sharing the one body.

You're lucky, Akito ^^ I just got back. I like the character though my tired brain can't think of how you're going to mesh the character into the plot. But they are quite interesting so yup, you're approved.
