I've always liked your dark, grungy side. And the darkness and grungyness suits Vicious quite well. I like the layout too, it's an interesting perspective.

I'll go with Smugglers Notch. It much clearer.

This is not an easy choose. I love Vin's grungy and moody style but it doesn't really express the stock image as well as I feel that Notch's does. I love how clear Notch's image is and it looks really good on a black background..

I'll go with Smugglers Notch's piece, because there is more focus on the subject and the overall feeling gives a hint of how a person the character is. I only have a problem with the outer glow, it looks somehow odd.

Vins's piece is kinda messy, and I can't find the subject well. Perhaps a better contrast will work, but I don't know. ^^;

SN I like your picture's clarity as people have said and the colours and patterns used compliment each other. What I don't like is the font, it is too simple imo.

I like the detail in Tony's, your work is always very fine. It is well blended and nothing looks segregated from each other. Plus I like the border. But I do agree that it is a little too unclear in terms of how easily you can define the images used.

My vote goes to Tony.

Both are swell. I really like the colors in Smugglers Notch's. It's also nice 'n' clean. Whereas Rhadamanthus's is more "Dark" and "Rough."
In my opinion, a layer or so too rough :/ Sorry Rhadamanthus, I voted for Smuggler.

I really really like his piece. Normally, I wouldn't really go for this kind of style, but somehow in this one, it just appeals to me strongly. The rough strokes in the entire piece and the subtle hints of the dragon blends in really well. Composition and perception of this piece looks great too. Awesome work Vins ^^

I vote for Smugglers. His piece is clear and I like the colour effects and the border. The only thing I don't like is the text. I think it should be bigger and in another font.

Votings finish up when there are a reasonable amount of votes (when it's obvious who the winner is, basically xD). I was planning to just end them right after the next battle get their entries in, but sometimes we don't get a good amount of votes so I leave them up longer.

I prefer the colors and general execution over Smuggler's. Text is more readable in Smuggler's, but it is also plainer and doesn't work with the sig as a whole compared to Tony's, though his visibility is obviously hindered hurhur.

Besides, grunge is too underappreciated, especially taken to a dirtier level than most dare to take it.
