Keep in mind these are just the 3rd party games, Nintendo is keeping its own launch line up close to it's chest still, but we do know of some: Zelda, ExciteTruck and Wii Sports, for example.

Anyway, I'm suprised to see 4 'mature' FPSs in the form of Red Steel, Far Cry, Call of Duty 3 and Medal of Honor, at launch. Launch with games like Madden, Need for Speed and Tony Hawk for the casuals. Nintendo learns a lesson? ohmy.gif

New Yuju Naka game? New NiGHTS into dreams, anyone? Hideo Kojima game? woot. Discuss, maybe?

I am not sure if I should get excited over a Hideo Kojima game. Chances are we get a spinoff of sorts with some "new and exciting gameplay type" like that crazy Acid game.

I am a preconstitued wii fanboy but I dont see how to make MGS fit with the wii, then again it is a "Kojima game" not particulary a MGS one.

Everybody and their mothers seem to say that the wii will sell for 150 bucks but i think thats way too much wishful thinking and although it would be awesome to have a next gen console at that price i cant help thinking its just a bit too little.

On related news we also have a list of the virtual console titles coming to the wii. Of course this is completely unofficial and its from "trustworthy source" which means believe it if you want but the source might just be the hobo across the street.

The list does give some hint to some popular titles. There is also this:

http://www.nintendowiifanboy.com/2006/09/1...-games-for-wii/

Which contains some ESRB ratings for genesis games. Everything is good and working on the wii rumour mill, its the biggest one i have ever seen. Seems like everyday 50 new rumours come up. I am just going to wait until Thursday to have the official news.
The Hero of Time
I dont think the new Hideo game would be anything MGS related. More likely, a console version of those DS and GBA games his studio has been making for a while? I cant remember the name, but the GBA verion had a sun sensor or some crap. But I'd love to see something new, his crazy ideas + wiimote = awesome?

£150 in the UK, Raz, which translates to about $270. I wont be that much. $199.99 would be the perfect price, ne?

Not pumped about NiGHTS, Raz? laugh.gif I was curious to see what you thought about that rumour.
Razael
I am indifferent at this point Liam, they are just rumours, i would get hot and heavy about NiGHTS but right now we know ##### and until they actually release something directly stating the game to be released for the wii, i shouldnt get happy. Its like when you get the look away from a girl, she might mean she likes you but doesnt mean you are gonna have sex with her that same day, kay?

And i meant 150 bucks, thats the last i heard, but i have also read 200, 250 or the classic no more than 299. Then again its because i read mostly american (both english and spanish) blogs and crap whereas you read european

Yeay, another DBZ game. We needed another one. =x And let's not forget CARS. And ANT BULLY. You can't go on without them now can you? dry.gif Now is that GT as in Grand Turismo? And I'm not sure about most of those games anywho. I'll try to get Metal Slug for sure but did we really need another Shrek game?
LunarMaster
It has a pretty decent launch line-up. The Wiimote would be perfection for Nights. If they anounce that I will reserve the Wii today. Their virtual console sounds pretty damn good as well, but I haven't see any new titles anounced for it (it would be interesting to see how an indie developer would use the controller). Thanks for the update.
FallenKnight
sweet now i cant wait to get a wii and it has some good games to get with the launch but i cant wait to get my hands on metriod prime 3.. cant wait

I'm not surprised by these rumors. =) Most are true anyhow. =D
Wii is shaping up to be a sexy system with awesome support. What surprises me a lot is Koei.
They *actually* announced more titles for the Wii. One is an RPG to boot. =D
Man, tomorrow is going to be so damn swcheet. Can't wait.
The Hero of Time
Lol, are there any companies left that havnt announced a game for wii? laugh.gif

I'm with Lunar on the VC thing; I wanna see some new games for the SNES and N64, its a slim chance but an N64 sequel to Body Harvest with the Wii mote would be hoooot.

45 minutes to go.
ValhartX
Yeah--- I don't think GameArts has announced anything yet. =x I'm waiting to hear what they've been up to. =x Oh, and another company I'm starting to dig are.. Baiten Kaitos/XenoSaga guys.
They seem to have a lot of Wii stuff coming. =)
Pesmerga
Hmm, these games don't do me much yet, but that is rarely the case with launchtitles. Though I am interested in Elebits, cause that game does look pretty interesting.

I am looking forward to some news about Super Smash Bros Brawl and maybe they announcement of new characters, that would be a good thing for me.
