Full Version: E.S Crafts
In Xenosaga III, what does E.S stand for? I know they are the short term for the crafts but can't find the long term name. Find it odd that in Xenosaga II they are called A.M.W.S and yet here they are called E.S.

Even in Xenosaga 2 they were called E.S.
E.S. units are those that are driven by the Anima Relics.
Actually, an E.S. is simply an A.M.W.S. that has a Vessel of Anima loaded onto it.
Otherwise, it's just a normal mech that would still be able to fight, just with much lower power and skill than an E.S. due to the lack of the Vessel.
For example, the two A.M.W.S's you fight in the Ormus Stronghold, (Richard and.. forgot the other guy's name.) are weak and easily beaten in XS2. In XS3, those same A.M.W.S's show up again as E.S.'s and make for a fairly tough fight.

I don't think so. The E.S. are made to specifly work through the Vessel of Anima. The only one that operate without it is Asher, because The Professor equiped it with Erde Kaiser's Generator.

Those are probably E.S. built to fit their cappabilities, based on their previous A.M.W.S.s.
