Well, I started on Wild Arms 2 this Sunday after finally deciding to put Lunar 2 on hold for a little while. And I'm at the Baskar Colony with Tim, about to undertake the trial so he can become a "Pillar".
So far, I really like this game. The gameplay is done just right, where I can choose to skip battles if I want to (with the exception of surprise attacks). I also really like the puzzle element, even though it's a bit harder at parts than Wild Arms 3 was. xD The story is looking pretty interesting so far, but I won't spoil anymore.
My only real issue with this game, and I hate to say it, is the horrible dialogue. There are so many parts in this game where the dialogue just sounds really awkward, the characters speak in fragments, and other times the dialogue is so bad I can't even understand what the characters are talking about. I mean, this doesnt happen all the time, but it still happens quite often to the point where it's becoming a problem. And I literally couldn't understand a word of what was going on in the factory where I had to help Liz and Ard, just because they were speaking so strangely. I like the story so far, but I would enjoy it a lot more if the friggin' translation was better.
Anyway, thoughts? x_x

Wild ARMS 2 is my favorite. the prefected Force System

Tim i found pretty useless, slow and weak and it takes time for him to learn good spells (with a given Guardian equipped, defeat a specified number of enemies to learn a spell.)
what's worse about Tim:
he's able to defeat Judecca all by himself! Not possible, even if he is a summoner!the character that joins/you can recruit later in the game
Kanon & Marivel are kick ass!
yeah, the dialogue is pretty shotty, but i like the game regardless.

The translation overall is reeeally bad, and it only gets worse. Especially towards the end of disc 2. But you still have a general understanding of everything going (except maybe one thing with the ray points...)
Anyways, Good to see you're enjoying it. Its also my fav of the wild arms series (given that I beat 1 and 2 and only played a bit of 3, its not saying much) and one of my fav. RPG's overall.

Minock, we know Judecca was awesome and to be different by Tim was just baffling. I still love the cast of villians of the game. Too bad who turned out to be the final villian. Man, WA series has a bad habit of having awful final bosses. I wonder why they never come up with a cool villian with a good purpose to end the games of the series?
Though, I still need to finish WA-AC:F and WA 1, but lack of interest.
WA 1 and WA 2 are the best of the series, Rhadamanthus. So, not big deal you never finished 3. 4 had an weak storyline and also had villians with no purpose. Still, that battle system made up for that in mind. Still had a couple of problems with the HEX system, which I hope are corrected in WA 5.
