In the Hidden Leaf Village, ninjas gathered as Tsunade, the current Hokage, had something to announce.

"The time for action is here! We must act now before the Akatsuki are able to take all of the tailed beasts! We must send forth our ninja's to stop the threat!"

Cheers rang throughout the area while listening to her speech. Naruto and the other Rookie 9 (of course excluding Sasuke) and all of the other allies of theirs, listened to the speech with great pride because they all knew they would be going out to fight the Akatsuki with other ninjas.

"Six of the tailed beasts have been captured already! We must save all others from them."

Naruto and the gang had met some pretty interesting friends since all the way back when they became Genin.

There was Sai, who had helped them try to capture Sasuke back from Orochimaru. Also Cytris, who had just arrived at the village and didn't seem to talk much. There was Hanachi, he also was sort of a loner who had come to the village in order to help Sasuke and find the Akatsuki. He also avoided Kiba at all costs.

Soon they all set off to begin they're journey in search of all Akatsuki.

Meanwhile, the Akatsuki are debating over which tailed beast they would go after next. All they had left was the 6, 7, and 9 tailed beasts left. Their debate continues...

(OOC- I realize not all of this is entirely accurate, but I did my best to tie it in witht he story. I've been trying to think about what the Akatsuki will do to counteract what the ninjas are doing. Open to suggestions.)

Sitting ontop of a roof to a motel, Cytris heard the loud screams and cheers made by the people of the Hidden Leaf Village. Taking out a kunai, Cytris tried to distract himself away from the loud cheers by carving a symbol inside on of the roofs panneling. He carved a large circle first, then made a triangle equal in size inside the circle, followed by some more smaller triangles, straight and wavy lines. The finished project looked almost like a skull, and took up most of the single sheet of panneling; Cytris smiled, it took him four years to learn that carve; the long days, and late nights of feeling hopeless.

He put away the kunai, and looked down opon the busy street of Konoha. People were still gathering around the new Hokage as she made he confidence-boosting speach to get everyone eerger to set off and find/stop the Akatsuki. Little did they know how truely powerful they really were.

"There all doomed to die if they set out to find them." Said Cytris.

Cytris jumped down from the roof, onto an outside deck over the busy street; then onto the patted dirt rode. Cytris walked casually towards where everyone else was running, or jogging; Cytris just walked at his own pace, not in a hurry. On the right hand side of the rode, keeping away from the crowd, there are two similar large buildings with a dark blue roof, a lime green overhang, and a brown panneling on the side. Theses buildings were seperated by an alley, about seven feet apart. Passing the seemingly dark alley, Cytris was grabbed but three hands and thrown down the alley, wich wasn't very long. His back his against the wooden fence at the end of the dark alley; with the back of his head throbbing in pain, Cytris looked towards the opening and saw, what seemed like, three men. Age unknown. The darkness of the alley gave them the appearance of a black blob.

"Give us your money. Don make me have to hurt you!" Said the one to the far left; he seemed to be holding a kunai or some sort. Cytris knew this because it glimmered a little pit when it was touched by the smallest fragment of light.

"Yea, money!" Said the two other almost in unison.

"You kiddies don't know this, so i'll tell you now." Said Cytris with a devilish smile, "But I do my best work in the night!"

Followed by the word 'night' the ground beneath the three men started to shake; Cytris started to laugh as they quivered in panic.

"Okay, th-thats it! Now I h-have to huuurt you!" Said the man from on he far left. Cytris saw him take a step forward but stop half-way. Caught. "Hey, let me go! Guys, Im stuck. Help!" He pleaded, thier confidence was diminished.

The middle man turned towards his caught friend, but he too found out that he was stuck.

"Hey, kid. Let us go and we'll leave you alone! We sware!" Pleaded the chunky one on the left.

"But how can I let you go." Said Cytris. "If im all the way over here, and I only have two hands!" Finished Cytris with a big laugh.

"Hey.. HEY! Im sinking! Guys! Dont just stand their! HELP!" Cried out the one too the left.

Minutes later, Cytris exited the alley with a big smile And continued walking down the street.
The clouds above scattered, shining the light of the afternoon upon the once dark alley; it is here we see three men, two with dark brown hair, the other with red with freckles. Only their heads could be seen, trapped up to their necks in dirt. Alive and awake where the three, shouting and hollering for help. They never saw it coming.

(OOC: the last short paragraph is in third person, I take the 'camera' away from Cytris and show you what he did too the three in the alley. They are not dead. Just shocked.)

After listening to the Fifth’s rousing speech, Kiba found himself sitting on the grass in a large open area, Akamaru at his side and Shino standing behind him. Hinata was nowhere to be found, and Kiba could only credit this to her obsession with Naruto. (And where this obsession stemmed from? Hell if he could understand). He sat there with the wind blowing gently through his hair, leaning back on the heels of his hands and staring up at the sky.

“Oi, Shino?” He didn’t wait for an answer. He knew Shino had barely turned his head to look at him like he always did. “Ya think this mission’s gonna be hard? Not that I’m scared of it,” he made sure to add hastily. “But sometimes…” He didn’t finish the rest of his sentence because he was sure he was sounding like a big, retarded ninny (the last thing he wanted to sound like). But he knew the Akatsuki were nothing to be trifled with. Confidence and stupidity were two different things; a lesson he had learned from his own team-mates (and mostly because he was the one acting stupid and confident). He looked up again, this time allowing himself his normal wolfish grin.

“Hehe. In any case, me and Akamaru, we can kick their asses. Right, Akamaru?”

Akamaru barked at him in response and Kiba grinned up at Shino.

“And you and Hinata, too.” He shouldn’t have admitted as much, but he was feeling generous. Shino looked at him from where he stood, hands in pockets, face stoic as ever.

“Why don’t you sit down already?!” Kiba said, annoyed. Shino always wanted to remain standing. Which could be more than a little annoying when you were sitting there trying to have a conversation and they towered over you. Shino took a step forward but didn’t sit down. Kiba growled low in his throat, sitting up with one hand on his knee, and the other grabbing Shino’s foot and pulling him down next to him.

“You can be so annoying.” Shino informed him, straightening his jacket and glaring. Kiba could tell he was glaring by the way his eyebrows had drawn downwards. For some reason, this amused Kiba.

“You, too.” Kiba told him, deadpan. Was the guy psychic? Shino didn’t stand up though. Kiba took that as a good sign, since Shino wasn’t afraid of just walking away when extremely annoyed. And Kiba had an amazing gift of doing just that. Just as Kiba thought maybe he should say something, you know, best-friendly, his peripheral vision caught Hinata coming down the hill.

“Hello, Kiba-kun, Shino-kun,” she said shyly, poking her fingers together just the tiniest bit. She still did that a lot, maybe not as much as when she was younger, but it was still a habit of hers.

“Hinata!” Kiba crowed. “Where the hell did you come from?” But he said it with a smile. It still made Hinata flush and stumble slightly.

“I-I’m sorry I’m late…”

“Naw, it’s fine. Shino and me were having a fine conversation. Hahaha!” Kiba nudged Shino. “Right, Shino? Right?”

Shino graced him with a very short glance and said nothing. Well, it could have been a fine conversation… If Kiba could be serious for one moment. And if Shino would answer him when he spoke.

Ever since Kiba had come back from the Sasuke retrieval mission, Shino had actually been speaking to him. Kiba liked to think it meant he was worried.

“What did you talk about?” Hinata asked, sitting down on Kiba’s other side, but not all that close. She was an arm and half’s length away. Kiba looked over at her.

“Being annoying.” Kiba grinned at Hinata. “Do you think I’m annoying? Or Shino? Do you think we’re annoying?”

Hinata shook her head.

Ten-ten stood beneath the tree by the old training area where she, Neji, Lee, and their sensei, Gai, had trained in their genin years. Her back was pressed against the tree and her face was somber. She stared at the training grounds with nostalgia in her eyes, and for one long moment, she longed to be her younger self again, if for only a moment. Her eyes misted over, but she blinked back the tears and set her jaw.

She would always have those memories. So many wonderful memories. She was glad to have her friends at her side. She pulled out a kunai and spun it in her fingers; she liked the comforting feel of the tool in her hand. As she looked around the field, she sighed and sat down by the tree, staring at the kunai in her hand. The Akatsuki… They were… dangerous. But they needed to be stopped. At what cost? She wondered. How many would die? She prided herself on being a strong kunoichi, but fact was, it made her heart break thinking of all the losses in store for Konohagakure.

Ten-ten sighed and closed her eyes.

(OOC: Yes, kunai is spelled correctly)

Kakashi sensei had completely missed out on the speech by Hokage Tsunade, but he knew what it was about. He found himself once again challenged by Gai sensei, the meeting place was the Ramon shop. But first, he had to pay his respects to those who died defending Konoha for years. He stands for a little while and then he hears Iruka sensei's voice from a little ways off.

"So here you are Kakashi sensei." said Iruka in a informed tone.
"You missed the speech earlier today, you were expected to be there, they announced your name as one of the leading figures, you'll be leading your own team and everything to investigate the Sound Village." said Iruka.

"I was starting to head that way but I got caught up in something, and about leading the team, Tsunade had informed me about it a bit earlier." said Kakashi with a stern look on his face.

Kakashi started to walk away, Iruka sensei had called out to say something else but Kakashi had blocked out everything at that moment, he was already late for his duel with Gai sensei. He walked for a little while with no disturbances wonderin how Naruto and Sakura was doin and about Sasuke who seemed to have vanished a couple of years ago, but everyone had known what happened so he didn't really vanish. He started to pick up the pace a tiny bit for he was almost at the Ramon shop.

(OOC: I won't be setting up Itachi yet until we get more into the rp and we've already decided that Sasuke probably won't be in it if no one minds, btw forgive me bu I haven't read much of the manga just watched most of the anime).

During the Hokage's speech, Shikamaru listened only half of it. He didn't cared what Hokage Tsunade was saying because he already had a lot on his mind, like that he will actually be doing something again. He hated that. When the speech was over Shikamaru didn't excite himself too much like others did. He calmly started walking to his favored spot, certain grass below the tree. He lied down and closed his eyes. He wanted to sleep but was interupted by female scream.

'' Are you crazy!? ''- the girl screamed.
It was Ino. As always she is fired up whenever there is something going on.
'' The situation is serious and everyone sees that but you have to act like nothing is happening! Should you be geting ready... and where is Choji?! – she yelled at him

''I'm here'' – says the person behind Ino. She turns around and sees Choji. He was eating his favorite chips. '' What new mission? I'm ready for it....I think'' – says Choji
'' Ha, I supose when you are eating that acually means that you're ready? Well that means never! '' – Ino started to yell on Choji.
'' You know I can't think and fight on empty stomach '' – says Choji

'' Let him eat Ino, the mission didn't even started yet and the good news is you don't have to get ready at all'' – Shikamaru says to Ino
'' Why is that? '' – asks Ino
'' Because there will be other teams that will do the fighting so we can stay behind where is safe'' – Shikamaru answers with a bright smile
'' I agree! '' yells Choji while still eating his chips
'' I want you to take this serious ok? I don't want others to think that I'm in the lamest team, we have to give our best you hear me! '' – Ino says that and walks away.

'' Bah, women are pain in the....Choji you left in the middle of Hokage's speech, why? '' – asks Shikamaru
'' I didn't had any food with me so I had to buy some. What happened in the end? ''- Choji asks
'' Boring, I only heard half of it and I won't explain it to you because explaining goes on my nerves''
Shikamaru stands up and says to Choji :
'' Let's get ready. I don't wont to get Ino angry''

OOC: uh.. Shadow cloud Sasuke disappeared a couple YEARS ago not months..as did Naruto who uh kinda just came back but everyone knew he went to train with Jiraiya.))

IC: As the hokage-samas speech went on, Naruto was nowhere to be found (though no one seems surprised or to care, they'd just tell him later). In his bed snoring like no tomorrow. With his blanket only covering his right leg, which was a bit bent to the side. His left leg wasn't even on the bed, as it hung off at the knee to the, well left of the bed. With his hands up over his head, Naruto slept like a baby. A baby in his boxers that owns his own "apartment" with a kitchen, bedroom and a washroom.
"Myumno..I dunn want to eat Sasuke I want ramen...an eh AGGGH!" said Naruto as he sat up suddenly looking around.
"CRAP I OVER SLEPT!" he yelled looking out the window before literally jumping out of his bed. He grabbed a towel off the floor as he slid into the washroom a crash being heard as a toothpaste bottle flew out. A hand was then seen grabbing the bottle as then water began to run, steam coming out of the room. Some brushing gargling then spitting was heard followed by a flush and Naruto running out a drying his hair with his towel as he ran to his clothes. While hopping on one foot, the other foot in his pant leg, he tried to slip the other one in, but failed and fell on his face.
"DAMNIT!" he yelled as on the ground he flipped over on his back slamming his head on the ground, with a grunt he slipped on his pants, before getting up putting on his shirt and zipping up his jacket. He forgot about breakfast as he grabbed his key and ran out the door.
Slamming the door he slipped the key in his pocket as he then jumped to the roof on the other side of the street under his apartment. He looked around and saw Iruka sensei jumping from building top to building top across the town. Smiling he also jumped from rooftop to rooftop heading to him.
"HEY IRUKA-SENSEI!!!!" Naruto yelled jumping closely behind him.
"Hm..Oh Hey Naruto!" Iruka said with a smile turning to the left of which..Naruto was now on." I'd love to talk but I need to fine Kakashi-Sensei, have you seen him?"
"Uhm...Nope, sorry. But mostly likely he'd be at that memorial..thing..or whatever."
"Right that's where I was headed thanks anyway though." And with that Iruka was off as Naruto stopped and looked around.
"Huh, what to do, Oh! That’s right I missed the speech! Ah well, it's probably over by now. Huh." Naruto just stood there for a bit and then his stomach growled and with that Naruto knew he was hungry Sitting down the Ramen shop (I forgot it’s name like ichi ramen or something) , which he just ran to, he ordered "Ramen Teriyaki (SP?)" and began eating.

Hands in his pockets, Cytris is casualy strolling down the dirt rode; the crowd seems to be scattering at their own pace. The speach was over.

"Pssh, It must of been boring." Said Cytris.

Behind Cytris are crys for help from the three foolish thugs; the sounds of their helpless voices made Cytris laugh. Turning his head over his left shoulder,

"They never saw it coming, Ha ha ha." Grinning.

Walking down the rode, hands behind his head, relaxed. Cytris tilts his head towards the sky, watching the clouds slowly stroll by, the sun beaming down on the town of Konoha; it truely was a beautiful day, wich meant an even better night. Durring his travels, Cytris discovered that the ninjas in each of the hidden villages composed in teams of three; relying on teamwork and stradegy to the fullest. Cytris never had any friends, he was always on the move; from one town to the next, whenever they found out about his abilities, they shunned him, disliked him, some even tried to kill him. Its not that his techniques where cruel, they where just unusual, and some found them"disrespectful". Cytris tried to make friends; but failed, time and time again. Somehow, the people of Konoha seemed different; they seemed not to judge you by how good you are at being a ninja, or what you can do; but how good of a person you are, and what morals you have.

Lost in his thoughts, Cytris realized he had gone farther than he thought. He was now standing at a large open gate; not the front entrance, but one of the sides. Outside, another dirt path, but now on each sides of the path, there weren't any ramen shops or motels; but fields of green grass and wild flowers. The wind lightly brush against his hair as he walked on the grass, tired of the paths already been taken. Cytris wanted to make his own path, and live His life how He wanted too.

Over a hill, Cytris sat with his legs streched outwards, hands behind his back to lean on, relaxing. He saw two boys on the infront of him, some distance off, and someone was approaching them; it looked like a girl. The three seemed to enjoy eachothers company, and probably work well as a team. Cytris shifted and turned in place, the pain of making friends was getting to him.

"Maybe.. ..Just maybe once more. I'll try once more, and if I fail, then im flying solo from now on."

Standing up, Cytris ran down the hill towards the three strangers, who he hoped to call friends soon enough.

Before he could reach them something caught his attension, a dog. It came running at him barking; the dog didn't seem too much of a threat, so Cytris kneeled down as the dog approached him, the dog slowed down his pace only several feet away and now was just trotting. Cytris held out his hand to have the dog know his scent. It seemed to like his smell, the dog sniffed his hand and then licked it; his small red tongue tickled as it slobbered on his hand.

"Ha ha, thats enough little guys." Said Cytris.

Using his left hand to pet the dogs head, drying his right hand on the grass, Cytris noticed that one of the boys was standing up yelling.

"Akamaru! Oi where are you Akamaru!"

"I guess your name is Akamaru?" Said Cytris, the dog barked in agreement.

Lightly bitting Cytris left hand, pulling him back towards the three strangers on the hill. Akamaru wanted him to follow. "Okay, Okay heh. I'll follow." Akamaru barked twice then ran off towards the man calling him. Cytris saw the three upclose now; the one calling Akamaru had long frizzy brown hair, and a puffed out jacket, the other boy had pulled back black hair, held by his headpeice with the leaf symbol on it. A large collarged white cloak that was buttoned down. The girl had short cut blue hair and a grey sweat-shirt. The one with the puffed jacket turned to Cytris.

"Oi, who the hell are you?!" He asked. Cytris shifted in place.

"My, n-name is Cytris."

"Yea, well.. whatever. What the hell you doing disturbing out meeting anyway Huh? You looking for a fight?" He said.

"Thats enough Kiba." Said the other boy, with his glasses on.

"But he rudely intruded! Let me teach him a lesson!" Said Kiba

"I said enough!"

Kiba kicked at the dirt beneath his feat, he was furious.

"So your the new-comer everyones talking about?" Asked the one with glasses.

(OOC: take it away Ember. Make it seem like there where rumors spread around town about Cytris. Im off to school. Bye!)

Kiba mildly glared at Shino’s back (even though he knew the bug-nin could probably feel it, or maybe because he knew he could feel it) and crossed his arms impatiently. He didn’t like Akamaru being so damn friendly with the newcomer. It was disturbing.

“Yeah? You the newcomer?” Kiba chimed in with Shino (though he had no freakin’ idea what Shino was talking about). Shino liked to be the boss, and Kiba got tired of it. So what if Shino was smarter and was cleverly several steps ahead of his opponent? So what? It irritated Kiba when he showed his bossy side. Kiba pointed (rudely, even though he accused the other of being rude—he wasn’t so very polite himself) and shouted, “You never answered!”

“Did it ever occur to you,” Shino asked Kiba. “That not everyone who approaches you wants to fight with you?”

“Stop talking like that…” Kiba poked a pinky into his ear to indicate he was bored. “I don’t fight everyone that approaches me.”

Shino, again, did not grace this with an answer, but instead, steeled his concealed eyes on the newcomer.

“Are you the newcomer everyone speaks of?” Shino repeated.

“If everyone talks about him, how come I haven’t heard?” Kiba interjected.

“K-Kiba-kun…” Hinata said shyly. “If you keep interrupting, how are you going to know anything about him?”

Kiba started to argue, then shut his mouth and stilled. Okay… That was a good point. How come everyone was smarter than him? As a change of tactics, Kiba appraised the newcomer and said, “So… Do you find me annoying? We were just talking about being annoying…” Kiba trailed off when Hinata tugged the sleeve of his jacket.

“Kiba-kun…”

“Okay, who the hell are you?” Kiba asked with a sigh, though his expression showed he was clearly asking only for Hinata’s and Shino’s benefit.

Ten-ten eventually stood up, depositing her kunai in its pouch and giving the old training ground one last tender look. She smiled at the log she’d used for target practice and walked away, without looking back at it.

A little while later, she was walking the streets of Konoha, glancing at the familiar shops and nodding to the people she knew. She wondered where the rest of Team Gai had gone. She hadn’t seen them since the speech. Lee was probably training, and Gai-sensei was probably challenging Kakashi to a strange and pointless duel of some sort. Neji… She frowned. Well, Neji was probably with his family, or training as well. Neji was a genius, so she used to assume he didn’t need much training. She’d long since gotten over that assumption, though. The three of them had spent some long, grueling hours doing just that.

Ten-ten stopped at a stall selling various cute hair ornaments. Though she was a proud kunoichi, she also liked to be cute. It was only natural for a girl her age. The woman at the stall smiled at her and asked what she thought of the selection.

“I like this one,” Ten-ten pointed at a cute little handmade metal leaf. It made her think of the village. It was probably made with that in mind.

“Yes, it’s made to look very delicate, but it’s very strong.”

Ten-ten liked it even more with this analogy. She felt it was much like herself. She smiled at the woman and pulled out her purse. “I’ll take it.”

(OOC: I made it seem like the rumors were spread around, but Kiba's not in the know. Both Hinata and Shino have heard of him, though.)

Shikamaru and Choji were slowly walking through the village, trying to see what do they need for the mission, and soon they found themselves near the Ramen shop. They spoted Naruto there.
'' Look, it's Naruto! '' – Choji says to Shikamaru pointing at him.
'' Oh that idiot, he missed the speech as expected '' – says Shikamaru to himself
They both stoped and watched as Naruto was eating. Shikamaru remembered when he was suprised by Naruto's strenght. He though that he was nothing but a weakling and a fool, but Naruto proved wrong. Not just to Shikamaru, but to everyone else.

'' Should we tell him what's going on, I didn't see him there so he must have missed Hokage's speech right? '' – Choji asked
'' No way , I don't wont to bother myself explainning things to him'' – Shikamaru answered
'' Man , the food here smells superb, it makes me evan more hungry'' - Choji says putting his hand on his belly.
'' Is that all you think about...what a drag...whatever, let's at least tell him that he missed the speech if he knew about one anyway...'' – Shikamaru says that and starts walking towards Naruto

Shikamaru stood behind from Naruto's left side and Choji from the right. Naruto didn't notice them. He was busy finnishing off his food.
'' Need any help Naruto? '' – Choji asks with a smile
'' Do you know that you missed Hokage's speech today? Just want to tell you that you should ask someone to explain it to you because I won't bother, ok? '' – Shikamaru stated with a slight anger
Shikamaru turns around and sees Kakashi heading towards them...

"Hey boys. Have any of you seen Gai sensei?" says Kakashi sensei walkin towards them.

He sits at the Ramon bar and begins to converse with himself. Thinkin to himself for a few minutes, he finally decides to orders a bowl of ramon, the boys staring in anticipation, then he gives the bowl to Choji.

"Here, your probably more hungry than I am." As he hands the bowl to Choji with that little expression of his.

He gets up turns a little glance at the boys once again. Then he decides he was gonna go see Tsunade. He starts to walk a little ways then sees Gai sensei at the corner where he was supposed to meet him, so he starts on his way to meet him...

(OOC : Sorry for the shortness, but I'm pressed for time, there wasn't much to converse about considerin I have no control over any of those characters and we need a Gai sensei for anyone who cares).

(OOC: Im back =), and why does Hinata say Kiba'-kun'? I never understood that.)

“Okay, who the hell are you?” Asked Kiba.

"Well, my names Cy-"

Puttin a hand on Kibas' left shoulder, Hinata pulling at his right arm, "Cytris, if the rumors are correct. Are they not?" Said Shino, cutting off Cytris.

"For the most part." Cytris relpied with a smile. A light breeze came, gently pushing Cytris's hair away from his forehead. Shino titled his head quickly to his left side, symbolizing Cytris to follow. Shino turned and walked off down through a meadow of wild flowers, the sun was setting. As Cytris followed close behind Shino, he tipped Kibas shoulder with his, lightly and quickly; he figured Kiba would get all hot-headded again. He did.

"Hey! You looking for a fight!" Cytris did not have to turn around to know that the Hinata girl was forcefuly holding him back now. Cytris smiled, thats exactly what he wanted to hear; he didn't want to fight Kiba, no it wasn't that, but the amusement of watching him get angered so easily.

Shino had his hands in his pockets leaning backwards a little, he seemed relaxed in his own kind of way; Cytris caught up and maintained Shino's pace, a slow casual walk. "They are many rumors about you." Shino spoke without looking at him, he just looked straight ahead, "But none of you skills or your abilities. How come?"

"I don't like talking about it much, or my past for that matter. It's very personal, and slightly painful." Cytris replied. Cytris thought Shino wasn't expecting that for an answer because he was silent for some time. Ahead, at the end of the meadow was a ledge with rockes hanging out over the sides, and a meduim sized tree with no leaves. Once reached, Shino sat down near the edge with his feet and legs hanging off the sides; Cytris did the same, The sun was slowly setting right infront of them.

"Tell me" Pausing, "About your past." Said Shino. Hinata and Kiba had followed them from a distance, but by the time Shino and himself sat down, they caught up. Hinata sat upon a large rock to thier left, sitting with her legs tucked underneath her; Kiba sat with Akamaru on the dead, or dying tree to thier right. Listening, and watching the sun set.

"Well im not quite comfortable talking about it, however, you three seem like the type to listen and not judge me until im finished; unlike everyone else in the other towns... Well it starts like this.."

Cytris sat telling his story, how his village was burned, about his many travels. The different types of people he met, and how he wound up in Konoha. "So your the only one left of your village?" Barked Kiba.
"Thats horrbile!" Replied Hinata. Shino was silent until..

"Then what of your abilities?" Said Shino, Kiba and Hinata listened closely.

"I come from a bloodline, or.. my abillities do anyway. It's not one that is well known, nor is it respected or looked upon with good expectations; Its not a dull, its just, as everyone says, 'humane'." Pausing, kicking some dirt off the edge of the cliff, "I was not old enough to be told its proper name also, and what I know of it comes from what I have heard from neighboring villages. Let me just say, I do better at night."

Shino sat nodding his head, Kiba leaned over to hear better even though it probabaly was not necisary for him; he almost fell too. Hinata sat with her eyes glued to Cytris, listening to every word, not making the slightest of noise. Breaking the silence.

"I heard you people, like some others villages, do groups of three. Im guessing this is one of the teams I was told about. This might seem a little rude, and my apologies if it is but, is thier room for one more?" Asked Cytris.

The sun was gone.
Ember
Kiba stared at the new guy. Another member on the team?! It wasn’t something he thought about often—or ever. But what could be BAD about it? The guy certainly knew how to irritate him (but that’s not hard when you have a temper so quick). But another person on the team could mean good things. For example, all kinds of new strategies, which could be boring to think up, but were a lot of fun practicing. In his indecisiveness, he was looking to his fellow team-mates for help. Anything he said on the matter would be trumped by Shino, anyway. Shino the big bossy bug-nin.

Shino seemed to be in thought, but he could be doing anything behind those glasses. He could be sleeping for all Kiba knew. Hinata, poking her fingers together, said shyly, “It would be nice… to have another member on the team…”

Kiba still looked unsure, giving Cytris a strange look. “Naruto’s team got that new guy… but…”

Hinata looked at Kiba. “But, Kiba-kun…”

Kiba could be rash and reckless, but he wasn’t (that) stupid. He knew what Hinata’s look and tone meant. But he had grown to have a little more faith in Naruto over the years.

“They’ll bring back Sasuke sometime, and then they’ll be four. ‘Cause Naruto doesn’t give up that easily, and he’s not the type—at least I don’t think he is—to go around pushing out new friends.” Kiba smiled with confidence and crossed his arms. “So I don’t see why we can’t make new friends, too. Even ones that are annoying.”

Shino’s brows drew lower.

“Shino’s annoying, and nobody’s kicked him out!” Kiba declared.

Shino looked in Kiba’s direction. There were chilling intentions in his glare, but Kiba was used to it by now.

“And you are annoying and nobody has kicked you out,” Shino informed Kiba. Shino looked at Cytris, ignoring Kiba’s outraged glare. “I think we can work out some strategies concerning you. I don’t see a problem with the four of us forming a team.”

“So I AM annoying!” Kiba shouted, and pointed.

Ten-ten had put the ornament in her hair and was now stopping at a stall to eat something. She wasn’t used to spending so much time alone. She was thinking of hunting down her team mates, and seeing what they had thought of the speech earlier. She hadn’t really had a chance to speak with them about it yet.

Where were they?

~*~

Deidara, was, as usual when going from one place to the other, flying on his giant clay bird. Tobi was lying lazily near the back of the bird, much to Deidara’s chagrin. He hadn’t wanted to let the lazy braggart on the bird, but Tobi had brought up the perfectly viable point that if he was left to walk the whole way, he’d end up falling behind, and where was the teamwork in that? A good point, yes. But he was still irritating Deidara with his mere lazy presence.

Scanning the area below, Deidara noticed that they still had some ways to go before they were anywhere near the six tailed beast. Maybe they should formulate some sort of plan for taking down the beast. It couldn’t hurt to be a little over-prepared. It did beat being under-prepared. Frowning, Deidara looked back at Tobi.

“You know, you could at least say something,” Deidara said in annoyance. “Don’t you have any plans? Any ideas what we should do next?”

Silence. Then: “Deidara-senpai?”

“Yes?”

“Could you keep it down? I’m trying to get some shut-eye.”

Deidara glared. Tobi didn’t seem to notice the black cloud passing over his team-mate’s face.

“Thanks.”

Deidara kicked the lazy good-for-nothing off the bird.

“Gyaaaaaahhhhh!!!”

“So I AM annoying!” Kiba shouted.

"Yes, and you're loud as well." Replied Cytris.

"For a new teammate, we still don't know anything of your jutsus or if your all taijutsu like Lee."

Shino turned his head to face Cytris and Kiba, "For once, Kiba has a point."

"Yea! For once.. ..Hey! Wait a minute!" Said Kiba. Hinata laughed,l Kiba shot a cold look at her, she stopped. "As I was saying.. Lets spar!"

>+=-~*~-=+ Ten Minutes Later +=-~*~-=+<

A slight breeze came about, flowing in the dirrection of the cliff. Cytris and Kiba stand fifteen feet away from eachother; the night was young, and the moon full. Shino and Hinata sat together, Akamaru on Hinatas' lap, watching from a distance. "Don't kill eachother." Was all Shino had to say. Kiba was standing with his left leg farther out than his right, hands up in fists, and knees bent a little. I hope fighting him lose's my would-be friendship with the other two Cytris thought. Cytris stood with feet shoulder-width apart, arms down at his sides; No particular fighting stance, so he stood like he normally would have.

"I'll even let the new-guy have the first throw! Ha ha" Kiba said, maintaining his usual over-confident smile.

"Very well.." Said Cytris, uttering: "Helping Handsss" while kneeling down to the ground, placing his right palm flat against the ground. The ground shook beneath Kiba's feet.

"What the?" Kiba uttered. The ground stopped shaking before Kiba made any initial reaction.

"Is that it?" Kiba continued, "A little shake? Putting you in your place will be easy now." Kiba said, again grinning. Kiba took a step forward, but stopped half-way. "Im stuck? On what..?!" Kiba said with a puzzled look on his face. "Maybe I can.." Kiba said while trying rip his leg off of what held him "..Just tear.. it.. off" Kiba broke the hold on his right leg.

The clouds covering the moon drifted away, the moonlight glared down upon the four of them. What held Kiba down was revealed by the light. Hinata screamed and jumped onto her feet, Akamaru leaped off in fright and began violently barking.

"Kiba-kun! Look down at your feet!" Hinata screamed, pointing at Kiba's legs. Shino adjusted his glasses but didn't move from his seat on the ground.

"Is that..?" Shino began. Cytris cutting him off,

"Yes, it is Shino. It's an arm."

"What the?!" Kiba yelled, glancing down at his feet.

Cytris stood upon normally again, placing his hands together into a tight fist saying aloud, "Marrow Trap!" Just then, the ground beneath Kibas feet, yet again, began to shake. Kiba couldn't move this time however, or at leaste break his other leg free in time. Kiba looked at Shino, a mixture of confusion and fright in his gaze.

"Shino..." Kiba said.

Several hundred white spike shot up out of the ground beneath Kiba, around his head, arms, feet and legs. Instantly Kiba was incased in white spikes, unable to move with only his head revealed. Each spike ranged in width to incase Kiba, protruding two to three feet from his body. Kiba couln't any part of his body, and hardly his neck; in seconds, the fight was over.

"Get me out of here!" Kiba yelled. Shino just walked around the incaed Kiba, examining several spikes at a time.

"These are real bones. Aren't they Cytris?" Said Shino.

"Yes," Cytris replied, "my jutsu can be classified as.. Undead."

Just a short post to get things moving along, for all of you who dont know, ive moved the time to NIGHT-time. Kiba is incased in spike, bone marrow spikes to be exact. they arents vertical, they are jutting out of the ground in all angles. Any and all question/problems. PM me a.S.a.P

Taking a step back, " A...Bloodline trait...!?"
Then taking two more steps back realeases his constant veil of the hands posture to an alltime casual level.
"Come forth...!", as the ground becan to tremble once more a horde of pigme sized insects began to unearth from the earths very crevaces.

His hands were now so focused in front of him that to the parties suppries it took only a glance to Shinos direction then to kiba to realize the matter that had once bound and contained kiba were now diminishing before their eyes.

"trump card." Shino exhaled then placed his hands back into the depths of his pockets.
then fiercely lifted one eyebrow whith as much enthusiasm as you can expect from the likes of him.

Hinata then hesitates and rushes towards kiba "K-Kiba-kun!"
Kneeling down the the fallen allies aid, "Kiba-kun, are you all right?..."

As the wind ripples through tobi's robe he fell unusually straight as if he was about to show off his knack to catch himself at the last second...this wasn't so.

There was a loud thump. Then nothing.

Kiba looked up at Hinata and grinned, though his eyes still looked confused. He tried to shake the horrible feeling of having been helpless, and even more, the embarrassing plea for help from Shino (thankfully Shino hadn’t rubbed it in).

“I’m all right!” Kiba thumped his chest as if to prove it, grinning in his usual broad fashion. “He just surprised me, is all!”

Akamaru was at Kiba’s side as well, whining slightly. Kiba rubbed the dog’s head to soothe his anxiety. “I’m okay, Akamaru. I promise.”

Glaring over at Cytris, Kiba accused, “You cheated. And you haven’t even seen me in a real fight.” But his words thinly covered his own concerns about fighting Akatsuki. Was he really so weak? He felt pretty pathetic right about now, but hell if he was going to show it.

~*~

Ten-ten eventually found herself back at the old training grounds, and was surprised to see Lee training vigorously. His training consisted of taijutsu moves, so he was jumping and spinning around, rather than focusing on chakra. Ten-ten smiled.

“Lee-san?” she greeted him as she walked towards him and he paused in his training to look in her direction. “When did you get here?”

“Ten-ten!” Lee’s eyes brightened when he saw her, and he lowered his foot from its position in the air. “I was training. Ever since the Fifth Hokage’s inspiring speech…” His eyes lit with a passionate fire (of youth, as Gai-sensei would say). “I felt like I needed to train even harder. We must defeat the Akatsuki.”

“They’re pretty strong…” Ten-ten said, leaning her back against a tree and putting her hands behind her back demurely. Lee looked as though he wanted to say something, but Ten-ten’s lips curled into a small smile, and she added. “But I think we can take them.”

~*~

Deidara looked down, where Tobi had slammed violently into the ground and was now lying there, motionless. He watched for a long moment, and Tobi still seemed motionless. Sighing, Deidara brought the clay bird down to the ground and leapt off.

“Tobi?” Deidara stood next to the newest Akatsuki member, who was still as a statue, lying straight on the floor. Looking down at him, so motionless, he thought maybe he’d killed him, but then thought better of it. Previous experience had taught him a few lessons… Deidara poked Tobi with his foot. “Are you sleeping again?”
Oil Woman
The boy lay silent on the floor for what seemed like minutes then turned his head to the left and says, "Look Deidara-senpai, theres some sort of fight gong on." Then turning his head in Deidara's directoin, "We should go check it out!"

There seemed to be a sort of religious formation not to far from the two Akatsuki members location. It looked worn but no completely uninhabited...A sudden crash interupted the serene silence of the peaceful country side resulting in the colaps of the temple. There seemed to be a chase an instant later, but the likes of the two unknown ninjas remained unclear.

EDIT: NOT A DOUBLE POST!

(OOC: It's me, Ember... I didn't realize that Oil hadn't signed out... ^^;; Sorry...)

Deidara looked from Tobi to the mysterious fight, debating on whether to hurt Tobi for lying around lazily, or figure out what was going on. Figuring out what was going on would mean a fight, a fight meant showing off his artistic ability. Hurting Tobi could also mean showing off his artistic ability, but only to an audience who had seen it before. In the end, the chase resulted in someone thundering by, and Deidara thought he heard “fat-ass” in there, but he couldn’t be sure.

“…yeah.” Deidara looked down at Tobi. “It didn’t look like anything special to me…yeah.” Any fight with a word as unrefined as “fat-ass” sounded like a waste of time to him.

“What was with that building, though…?” Deidara wondered, looking at the destroyed temple. “Aren’t we close to that Konoha? With the nine-tailed beast…yeah? Why are we stuck with the six-tailed beast? It’s much farther off…yeah.”

Then, looking down at Tobi, who still seemed engrossed in the chase, Deidara frowned. The brat had changed the subject oh him! Deidara summoned a clay bird from his mouth-palm. Tobi looked up just in time to see it.

“You cheated. And you haven’t even seen me in a real fight.” Kiba continued, almost acting like nothing happend, or trying to.

"If I had cheated Kiba, you'd be dead by now." Cytris relpied, smiling.

Looking at Cytris's dirrection,
"So, your telling me your jutsu pertains to the dead?" Said Shino

"Monster.." Kiba uttered under his breath.

Cytris heard what Kiba had uttered, and it infuriated him.

"Monster? Me? Im a monster!? The people who had destroyed my town, and burned my neighbors are Monsters! Do you know what burning flesh smells like Kiba?! Do you know the painful fealings of the screams of hundreds of little children sound like?! And you call me a monster!.." Said Cytris, raising his hand, palm facing Kiba with all five fingers extended, "This one will surely kill you!"
A purple haze began to lightly evaporate off of his extended hand, Cytris's hair blew back slightly but there was no breeze.

"Stop! Please!" Yelled Hinata, jumping infront of Kiba, arms extended at both side. Shino only glared at Cytris.

"Your just like all the others, Kiba! Rejecting me for who I am, and you don't even know me! I at leaste gave you a chance," Closing his eyes, clenching his hand in a fist and putting it at his side, hair became still, "All I ever wanted was some friends." Cytris finished. Turning his back to Kiba and Hinata, Cytris walked towards the edge of the near-by cliff. Cytris sat down next to a clump of roses and picked one up; it's pedals slowly began to twist and turn, and fall off. One by one, and eventually there was only the stem left. Cytris did this to three more roses before anyone had said or done anything.

"Sss.. Cytris-kun.." Said Hinata. Cytris turned to see Hinata standing behind him, her finger-tips pressed together like before, "I-I'll be your friend." She said with a weak smile. She was more affraid of him than before. Just like all the others, except she gave him a second chance. Hinata extended a hand down to Cytris, and helped him up; Akamaru brushed against his right leg. Cytris smiled and looked at Kiba.

"Im not a monster." Cytris said sternly.

"Yea, but-" Kiba was cut off,

"Shut it Kiba!" Shino said quickly, if we are going to have an extra member. We better report this to Hokage.

"Yes, lets do it right now!" Said Hinata, pulling at Cytris's sleeve, "Come'on Cytris-kun." She said with a smile. Kiba had a look of defeat again.

"Yea, yea. Lets go.." Said Kiba kicking at the dirt.

"At any rate..." Shino said, sounding unusually disturbed. "It's best we get all of this behind us."
Then with a quick turn he began to head for the village center.

"mnn..." Hinata shiley followed with a good five foot distance behind Shino. This seemed only routine by now. Hinata did indeed feel a strong bond between herself and Shino, but there was still something that kept them distant.

"GWAH!" Tobi was unsucessful in his half hearted attempt to dodge the lump of clay that is seldom looked upon as "art". Pulling himself up, Tobi began to brush himself of the soot he had accumulated from a combonation of the fall and the residue of clay. "Now what was that for!? I've done nothing but look out for you so far and this is the thanks i get!?" Tobi then turned his back to Deidara as if waiting for some sort of miraculous change of heart and maybe a soothing apology...this seemed to be in vain. "Hmph!"
Tobi then staightened his mask and muttered, "What did i do to Zetsu sensei to be paire with this spaz anyway" sad.gif

Kiba followed the others to the Fifth’s place, but he was no longer liking this arrangement. Glaring off to the side, he scoffed. He felt betrayed by both his friends and Akamaru. Akamaru! He was usually so loyal… Why was he off at that ass-hole’s side? It really seethed him, and the anger, of course, stemmed from hurt. How could Akamaru…?

Catching up to Shino, Kiba grabbed his arm, slowing the bug-nin’s brisk walk to his own sulky pace and watching as Hinata looked at him. She seemed puzzled, and probably wanted to say something, but Kiba glared her off, and she looked sadly at the ground. Kiba watched as she caught up with the new guy, feeling a little guilty. It wasn’t like he wanted to hurt her feelings. But…

“Shino! What the hell? Do we have to do this? He’s a… creep.” He refrained from using the word monster, at least for now. At least he knew one of that guy’s buttons, who seemed to know all HIS, without even knowing him in the least. Before Shino could bring up his obvious last line, Kiba was talking again: “And I know, I know, put it all behind us,” he said in a mocking tone. “And this coming from you, Shino, Mr. Holds-a-Grudge… Of course… He didn’t do anything to you, but… You heard him! He was pretty much threatening me! He’s gonna end up killin’ me! You know I just say whatever comes to mind! I’m gonna end up calling him the M word again, and he’ll go ballistic, and Akamaru won’t even come to my rescue.”

At the word “rescue” Kiba reddened just the slightest, still embarrassed at asking for help. But he didn’t bring it up. He let his bitter tone speak for itself when he looked over at Akamaru.

~*~

“YOU look out for ME?!” Deidara cried, outraged and almost going for more clay, then decided not to waste more on Tobi. Instead, he brought his foot down on Tobi’s shoulder, glaring. Why was he SO annoying? “If those thundering beasts had run into me, I would’ve given them quite the artistic surprise…yeah. No need to look out for me! You’re the one who needs looking out for!”

Before Tobi could formulate an answer (if indeed he had one), Deidara removed his foot from Tobi’s shoulder and straightened his postured, sweeping a hand down his robe as he did so. The chase seemed to have stopped.

“Why is it so quiet…yeah?” Deidara asked, looking puzzled. Where had they gone? Deidara looked over his shoulder, just in case. Nothing there. What the…?

"You seem to completely understand the situation. Whats the problem then...?"
Shino then extended his finger...a flying insect landed on it and Shino said "Were partners. Simple as that."
Turning his head slightly in embarassment Shino said "If you think your parters would betray you...you are sadly mistaken...!" (This is as comforting as Shino can possibly get...it may not seem like much to others but...cell 8 has caught on to Shino's way by now)
Shinos shades gleamed in the sunlight as he began speaking once more "I beleive our mission will be quite clear in a few moments..."

Hinata couldnt stand the feeling of betraying Kiba so stoped walking for a moment...in this time Cytris turned to her direction as Kiba and Shino caught up..."U-um...if we are to...well that is...if we go on a mission together....shouldnt we at least trust eachother?" Hinata swallowed and look to the floor as if expecting another argument.

A Mission? I've never been on a mission before! Sounds interesting, and possibly dangerous! Cytris smiled. Maybe I'll get a chance to kill someone, or at leaste hurt them ver, very badly.

"So.. " Cytris paused, "Whats the mission like, what are we doing? Are we going to kill anyone?"

"K-k.. kill? I hope not!" Hinata pressed the tips of her fingers together.

She seems to do that a lot, i wonder why. She's kinda wierd, but pretty.

"From my understanding, our mission is to hunt down the Akatsuki and trying to stop them at any cost from hunting the tailed beasts." Shino fixed his glasses, "This will be a difficult one, none-the-less."

At any cost.. The thought echoed.

"At any cost you said?" Asked Cytris. The three shot Cytris a look of curiosity, Hinata walked closer to Shino than Cytris now. "Oh comon, you really don't think I meant it." Nobody answered, "I didn't kill Kiba, did I?"
Kiba poked his head out from the opposite end,

"Well if you would given me a chance-"

"Am I hearing a round two?" Cytris said smilling.

"No, no more." Shino cut off Cytris and Kiba's 'conversation'.

Konoha village came closer and the four approached, it was the middle of the night and what a beautiful night it was. Konoha was not only a vast, prettyful city/town during the day; but also at night, with street lanterns, and bars playing all types of music. Entering Konoha was plain and simple, through the front door, wich seemed always open. I wonder if anyone's ever.. like.. penitrated this place before. It looks so.. simple. Going down several streets and alleys, trying to reach thier destination quicker, they came to the edge of town. Near a stone wall with four goofey faces carved into them. Someone was washing colored ink off of them. Someone seems to be an artist, ha ha. Under the faces was a large builing with a giant symbol in the middle of the center tower. This is probably the Hokages place.

"Lets go." Said Shino, turning right up the stairs.

There was a couple of flights of stairs before reaching the deisred level. Cytris was more than tired from all the stairs.

"Isn't.." Taking a breathe, "An easier way.. ..up?" Said Cytris, catching his breathe.

"You could always fly." Kiba said and laughed, the other three seemed fine.

A giant green door was infront of them, the Hokages study. Kiba knocked three times, actually, Kiba banged on the door three times. The sound echoed throught the long curved hallways, and partly in the room. "Gaaaaah!" Someone had screamed from inside and had, what sounded like, knocked over a stack of books and papers. The door slowly slid open only after the comotion had ceased.

The room held a rug, a table, an over-viewing-Konoha window, a woman with sake, and also a pig. The pig screamed and ran outside. Cytris stared at it as it was leaving, Fast food? Kiba Stepped infront of Shino, Hinata, and Cytris.

"Are we aloud to have a new-guy on our squad?" Kiba asked.

"Can you two eat any more?" Shikamaru asked, "This night is turning out to be a drag."

Naruto turned his head to Shikamaru, mouth stuffed with ramen noodles,
"Eat! It's good!" Naruto said, stuffing his face.

"It's true, it is good!" Said Chouji.

"Listen you two, it's getting late. Im going to go home and rest. You guys should do the same, not knowing when the mission begins. Lif is such a drag." Shikamaru stepped off his stool, and walked off.

"He has a point, I think Ill follow him." Chouji put his bowl down, wiped clean, and ran after him. "Wait up Shikamaruuu!"

"Another bowl Naruto? It's on the house." Said the ramen man with a smile.

"No thanks, I think it's time I take Shikamaru;s advice for once, and just go to sleep."

"Suit yourself."

Naruto walked along the edge of the side walk, just wishing something would happen. Naruto noticed Sakura was outside her window watching the nightsky.

"Sakura-chan!, Hey Sakura-chan!" Yelled Naruto.

"Would you keep it down you idiot! Your going to wake the neighbors!" Hissed Sakura, this was her way of saying 'Hello' at this time of night. "Did you catch the Hokages speach, Naruto?"

"No.." Naruto looked to his side ashamed, "..I overslept."

"Oh, you idiot!" Said Sakura, walking through her curtains into her room.

"Good night Sakura-chan!" Naruto said in a whisper this time.

"Good night Naruto." Sakura replied, sticking her hand out her window, waving good-bye.

~*~ Moments later Naruto opens his appartment door. Man, is this place a wreck. I better clean it.. ..tomorrow Naruto knew 'tomorrow' would never come. He un-did his head brace and took off his shirt and flopped down onto his bed with a ''thud''. Naruto hums a small toon as he slowly drifts off to sleep.

The whole day at the Ramen shop, what a good day. Naruto smiled. To bad i didn't wake up earlier to stay longer.

"Are we allowed to have a new-guy on our squad?" Kiba asked, somewhat hoping that he’d be greeted with a big, fat NO. Despite his companion’s attempts to soothe him, his fur was still ruffled, metaphorically speaking.

The woman with the sake slowly set her dish down, looking over the group. Suddenly, a black-haired woman came out, “Tsunade-sama!” She skidded to a halt when she saw the group standing before the Fifth Hokage. The pig squealed and hid behind her.

“A new…guy on the team?” Tsunade said slowly. Shizune stared at the Hokage, stunned.

“What’s going on here, Tsunade-sama?”

Tsunade waved a hand at Shizune, signaling her to remain quiet.

“And why do you rush in here asking me this without even getting clearance?” She asked sternly. As always, she sounded harsh, even though her reasons for asking certainly weren’t to make them feel inadequate. It was just the way she was, the brisk manner of her speech and her steady examining gaze put people off.

Kiba stared at the Hokage for a moment. “What were we supposed to do? The place looks abandoned.”

“At this time of day,” was all she said in response, steepling her fingers. She steeled her gaze on the others in turn, waiting to hear explanations worthy of her agreeing to this request.

What Tobi said struck a chord within Deidara, but he was quick to hide his shocked surprise. Did he even realize that himself? That by pushing away the new partner, he wouldn’t have to watch another…dare he say it… comrade die? If he remained indifferent… Well. He wasn’t going to let Tobi think he had anything over him. He didn’t give a crap about Tobi. He was annoying and too happy.

“I hit you because you need discipline, …yeah,” Deidara scowled. But he did let his gaze dart over the now-quiet landscape. “Maybe we should try that temple… yeah…” Deidara looked over at the destroyed temple. Whether it had been destroyed by the people rushing by, he didn’t know, but he was about to find out.

His lips curved into a smirk. He did so love a good fight. It was art in its purest form… And he loved art above all else. How transient it was, a glorious blast of an explosion that lights up the battlefield, then is gone almost as quickly as it appeared. That was art.

At the temple, the two Akatsuki members picked through the charred remains.

“It looks as though someone was fighting here recently…yeah.” Deidara turned around to find that Tobi was no longer behind him. His brows lowered in instant irritation. Why, that damn chicken! He’d probably hidden like the coward he was, expecting Deidara to do all the work—again!

“Tobi…” he said, voice lowered for maximum scariness. His face was black as night, and his eyes were like tiny evil pinpoints of life.

“Deidara-senpai! Watch out!”
