Vallhala// Ti' Lohar, The eastern palace

The scene started when an angel knight kneeling on a circle of blue light, trapped within a bubble of psychic barrier. The angel begged and plea for forgiveness, looking very pathetic, in front of another Angel holding a large book.

"Please Lord Seraphus, please forgive me my Lord. Raven was just curious about earth. Raven didn't mean to leave the Celestial Palace without permission. Please Lord Seraphus don't kill me sir, don’t kill Me." the angel pleaded.

"Silence! I shall not tolerate such irresponsible and foolish behavior, having an affair with a demon girl is unacceptable. Your foolishness had leaded you to your own destruction and no amount of reason can save you from the punishment." yelled Seraphus.

Tears and sweat now covered Raven’s face. He pleaded again, "Lord please don’t. Lord, what about the many decades we spent together, what about our friendship sir. What about all the service for you for so long, isn’t it worth any credits my Lord?"

"Raven, I am sorry but I have to do this, rules are rules. Even though you have been servicing me for many decades, but that does not mean you shall not follow the rules of heaven. So you shall be punished by the maximum sentence, The Holy Cremation. Criminal Raven, have you had any last words?" he started to flip the book on his hand while he slowly reveal his Crimson red eyes.

"No please no..."

"Very well." His eyes are now widely opened, staring at the criminal. He started chanting, "Enhoratos hiveratas sabatos, araiya envenros Vallhala salvahiya. Thou shall now tolerate such nuisance behavior. You had proven yourself not worth to be service under Vallhala. Venvyll vantratos goddessa, Crimina Raven, paresia vondo astardos. In the name of all gods, Criminal Raven, you shall now atone your sins using your life." he uses two fingers and stroke against the forehead of Raven. "Vera Verados Sinteratos. Holy cremation!" His eyes shut along with his book and the loud echoes produced by closing the book fill the whole hall of Vallhala. He turned around and walks away.

Nothing happened, the ring of blue lights disappear together with the barrier, Raven was surprised, his face was full of delight as he cried, "Thank you Lord Seraphus, Thank you my lord." He was preparing to stand and leave the hall until he found out that his knees were not within his control, soon all of his beams of blue lights shot out of his mouth, ears and eyes, even his fingernails are glowing in light blue.

His feet was still stuck on the grounds while he started to feel the pain starring within his body, he felt as though thousands and thousand of ants were reaping his organs apart. The hall was filled with Raven's blood streaking screams and his swearings of Seraphus. Moments later, he got fully engulfed by the blue lights and what were left were just ashes and some burnt feathers.

Seraphus just continue walking and never even bother to look back. He reached the center of the Celestial Palace, the Garden of Ark. The Garden was filled with endless breeds of flowers, even the pillars around were scented with the fragrance of mix flowers. Seraphus walked across the garden as he view the beautiful scenery across with his eyes close. He plucked one stalk of white gardenia and genteelly sniffs upon it, and then he plucks a few more and proceeds to the western palace, Ti' Mahor.

Vallhala// Ti' Mahor, The western palace

Carrying a beautiful stalk of white gardenia, Seraphus had arrived the western palace and approach the furthest room from the entrance as he slowly walks upon the sapphire tiled hall. He lightly knocks against the crystal made door and it vanished within seconds.
Seraphus hid the stalk of flowers behind him, then he entered and turn left while a lady speak behind him softly, "Seraphus, how nice of you to visit me daily during this hour. I see you've brought some flowers again, very beautiful white gardenias indeed."

Seraphus smiled while he turns around while he approaches the lady. She was a fair lady, with beautiful teal eyes. She was sitting on a blue marble chair beside a dressing table, slowly combing her silky long blond hair. Then she places her comb on the table and stands up and walks towards Seraphus.

Seraphus took out the stalk of white gardenia and hand it over to her small hands and replied, "For you princess Jaydeen, again without fail, I can never hide my gifts from you princess."

Jaydeen sway her hair backwards while she gingerly fingered upon the white petals of the flowers and smile at them. Her smile revealed her pearly white perfect teeth and then she speaks again, "you know I can smell the fragrance of the flowers already each when you reach the main hall of Ti' Mahor. The flowers are really precious, thank you Seraphus. "She kissed upon the left cheek of Seraphus and then walks toward a vast and neatly put in the flowers. Jaydeen picks up a piece of cyan colored gown then face Seraphus and asked, "Do you think I should wear this gown today?"

Seraphus touched his cheeks while Jaydeen kissed him, he blushed and the stuttered when he replied her question, "I... Erm I think the princess... the princess looks gorgeous in any clothing... I think I should... Uh... wait outside while the princess gets dressed." Then he leaves the room in panic.

Jaydeen changed into the gown and leave the room. She slowly walked towards Seraphus and asked Seraphus to accompany her to the Garden of Ark for a stroll. Seraphus agreed and the both proceed to the garden. While walking, Jaydeen unconsciously hum a melodious tune, in that very moment, Seraphus constantly face Jaydeen with his eyes close and he hum along with Jaydeen.

Vallhala// Garden of Ark

They reached the garden while Jaydeen stopped humming. She walks towards the center of the garden with her back facing Seraphus, then she starts to ask Seraphus, "Seraphus, how long had we know each other?"

"Two thousand three hundred years, Princess"

"And how long have you not look at me with your eyes open" She started to sound serious.

Seraphus looked down. He didn't dare to face the princess, and replied, "Two thousand three hundred years, princess..."

"Am I very hideous looking to you, Seraphus?"

"No princess, you are the most beautiful lady Seraphus ever met."

"How dare you lie to me, Seraphus? If I am beautiful looking, then why don't you look at me for once? "

"But princess... I..." he sounded perturbed.

"For this, I shall have you punished. You are to do me a favour." She sounded demanding, but then she turned around and smiled.

Seraphus looked up and smiled back, then he reply, "If it is within my abilities, Seraphus would be please to do what ever the princess's request is."

"I want to leave Vallhala, escape heaven and go to earth."

Seraphus cannot believe his ears. Those shocking words forced his mouth wide open. He faced the princess. For the very first time, Seraphus finally revealed his eyes to Jaydeen...

Pandemonium// Nefarious Hallways

If Lucifer felt any surprise at seeing the Royal Prince of Hell waiting in the middle of the hallway, he did not display any of it on his pale face or dark eyes. He merely bowed in a manner that was neither condescending nor humble, and continued walking towards the hall at the end where the ruler of the underworld waited for him.

"Lucifer." Diablo spoke when the fallen angel passed him, and he wrinkled his nose when a powerful scent of blood reached him. With a closer view, he could see droplets of blood sprinkled all over Lucifer's black armour, even though the elegant face was completely clean.

Lucifer stopped, an eyebrow raising minutely as he turned, "Yes, my Prince?"

"I heard that you had a skirmish with Hercules at Nether Gates again?"

When he detected the note of concern behind Diablo's words, Lucifer's lips curved sardonically, "He was drunk. Michaels intervened when I gave Hercules's leg a small cut. Both sides suffered losses."

Diablo seemed taken aback by the short and clinical report that Lucifer gave and the former Angel noted his reaction with amusement. He had not made it a point to socialise with the demon prince when he heard of Diablo's temperament, so it was no wonder the prince was not accustomed to his attitude.

The prince recovered quickly and frowned, "Don't you feel anything about fighting Hercules? I heard that he was your best friend when you were still in Heaven? Maybe I should ask Uncle Cerbarius to station a Hellhound..."

"There's no need, my Prince." It was Lucifer's turn to frown. "It is my duty to defend Hell against angelic hosts."

"But..."

"I do feel something about fighting Hercules..." He admitted softly, and watched as Diablo stared at him, eyes wide. Then, he smiled, in way that felt only slightly hotter than the Frigid Tundra.

"Contempt."

[OOC: Erm... Pandemonium is the name I give to Ghargen's palace in hell, Nether Gates is the name for the gates and Frigid Tundra is some piece of land in hell that is extremely cold. If anything isn't good, let me know and I'll edit. Michaels and Hercules should be in Heaven now.]

To the east of the Red Sea

Against the far fog stood the outline of a figure, a demon, blurred and shadowed through the mist. For this, the air carried the slight undertone of enchantment, the kind forged to veil the mythological from the eyes of common man.

'Soon', Auria thought, 'this effort will prove futile, and all will know.' Comforting thoughts of a time when every race freely passed in plain sight fluttered through the satyr's mind as a warm wind out of season, though under the circumstances, relaxing was not a wise course. Still, the thought daily passed as to why many were forced to escape human knowledge. Ever more, a sense of restlessness settled into many a creature because of the transition.

Stepping closer to the being shrouded in the darkness, a shadowed outline began to take a clearer form: six wings and a female's curves. Lilith.

"Lilitu, it is quite rare to see you during such untimely hours. What purpose do you have here?" The satyr asked, looking upward toward the small trickles of light beginning to scatter the mist.

"Thorn in my flesh and ache of my womb. My presence is but a passing one. Do not interfere." The response, peaceful yet threatening, sent a small shiver running down Auria's spine. During the eternity of his lifetime, the satyr had discovered but a few capable of doing so. Even still, the thyrsus slipped from its holster.

"Your mist weakens with each passing second, which can only mean that you now wish to be seen. By whom, vile creature?"

"Pestulant infidel, how dare you make an assumption of my character!" The demon paused. "What a shame this will have to wait." The latter phrase was spoken with a tone of complete indifference, which greatly peaked Auria's curiousity. Immediately, however, the thickened air dissapated.

She vanished.

(OOC: If needs to be altered for whatever reason, please tell me... Unfortunately, Lilith was the best I could come up with. Oh, and the term "Lilitu", if I remember correctly, is the Mesopotamian translation for "Lilith.")
Gamer-Since-Birth
The Sea of Maples seemed harmful and quiet frightening to outsiders; but too Haux, the Sea of Maples felt almost like a home. Adapting to the woods was one thing, and staying alive another, Haux seemed to have found a method in supplying himself with food; shelter was not as easy however. Haux had realized durring his travels that he had an ability to listen to the vast forest; but not just listen, but also learn from what was said. For food, he had imitated the methods of the Venus Fly Trap plant. Placing an object wich attracted animals to its scent in the middle of his trap; once the animal took the bait, the trap would close and eventually kills its hostage.

Shelter on the other hand, was a little more difficult. Since Haux traveled night and day, and rested when necessary, the woods had no answer for that one. Haux had realized that his need for shelter was something that he would have to keep in the back of his mind, and only too worry about it when the time comes.

Night comes fast in the Sea of Maples, that was the first thing Haux learned.

Taking temporary shelter ontop of one of the vast maple trees, Haux studied the stars high above. Thinking upon how they have a pattern, and then, how they dont. Durring night, the Sea of Maples was deathly quiet, with an occasional wolf howl, or cricket chirp. Haux laid down on the thick maple branch, overlooking the vast forest and the stars; looking towards the east, Haux realized his travels had taken him farther than he ever expected. The Sea of Maples was growing smaller he farther east it went.

My travels have taken me this far, with little trouble. I only wonder what it will be like to be around other humans again. Haux thought, taking off his right hand glove looking at the thin green lines that run down his fingers, up his wrist and towards the back of his neck. Is this a gift or a curse? Or some kind of pitty because I wasn't born with wings like my brothers?

It took him three more days, and two nights to finaly reach the end of the Sea of Maples. No other human has ever survived because they most likely starved to death while getting lost in the depths of the forest. But not Haux, his gift gave him a form of guidance and courage to go on. The fog had came down at the end of the forest. Walking along a brick path, not knowing to where it leads, childrens laughter is heard from time to time in all dirrections. Buildings began to spring up, out of the fog, citizens now walked in all dirrections as Haux seemed to have entered the outter rings of an unknown town or city. People brushed past him left and right, seeming like their in a rush of some sort; as they passed him, Haux triend to ask them where he was. Their only response was them looking at him like he had three heads.
Continuing down the brick path, trying to get an answer from someone; when Haux thought his attempts for an answer seemed futile, a small voice spoke out from the crowd.

"Your in the town by the Red Sea!" a childs voice yelled.

Turning to see who had given him his simple answer, Haux saw a little boy around 4 foot sitting on a wooden crate next to a vender selling fruit. The child wore blue overalls and brown boots and was no older than 11.

"The names Trope, and yours?" He said with a small smile.

"Haux." He replied. Kneeling down to the boys level, Haux asked:

"Why are these people in a rush? Is something going on?"

"No." Said Trope. "It's just one of those days." He said with a small smile.

OOC: I tried to get Haux out of the forest and to a town so he can interact with people/fellow RP'ers. I chose the town by the Red Sea simply because Reanimation is there. Any and all problems, lemme know AsAp. smile.gif

Vallhala// Garden of Ark

Seraphus cannot believe his ears. Those shocking words forced his mouth wide open. He faced the princess. For the very first time, Seraphus finally revealed his eyes to Jaydeen...

Jaydeen looked into the Crimson eyes of Seraphus and slowly, her face revealed a sense of disappointment. She sighed and walked towards the center of the garden, the bed of dandelions, and cried, "I'm disappointed in you Seraphus. I really am. But from what I see in your eyes, this isn’t the Seraphus that I know."

As she speaks, the wind starts to blow as infinite dandelions bursts into the air like a swarm of bees in harmony, rushing yet flying with unison. Her hair flung along with the flowers as a few of the petals cling onto it. Jaydeen closed her eyes while the wind blew as she felt two rows of tears fall down her cheeks and spread throughout as the breeze blew on her face.

"For all these years, I am encaged in this horrid place. I am tired of father's nuisance. All his rules and restrictions are really binding me up to this horrible horrible Cage. I thought you might understand me Seraphus, I really do. But now..." she continued.

Seraphus followed her and looked upon the beautiful scenery of dancing petals and spoke, "Are you certain for this, Princess? Escaping Vallhala without permission is a serious crime. I can't afford to see the princess being punished. I really can't."

He looked back at Jaydeen while he sees Jaydeen's tears drips down her cheeks. Seeing Jaydeen cry made Seraphus felt as though his heart were torn into a million pieces. He swallowed his saliva and cried, "Princess, you do know that I have feelings for you don't you? How much I respect you and listen to you? But..."

"Enough said. It is all right now." Jaydeen paused and wipes off her tears then continued, "Just treat it as a joke Seraphus." she Sighed again as she prepares to walk off. But then she turned around before leaving and said, "I always thought you are different from my brother, his is brute and barbaric. But you are different. You are always so caring and loving and I will always regard you as a brother of mine, not Hercules." Then she starts to walk away.

Seraphus breathe in and shouted just before Jaydeen was leaving, "Meet me here tonight when the clock strikes eleven, princess. Do not tell anyone about this nor let anyone sees you here tonight. I'll be waiting at the grounds of the thousand roses."

Jaydeen turned and looked back, but Seraphus was already gone in sight. She revealed a smile while she whispered, "Thank you Seraphus..." Then she returned to her palace.

Just then, a man who lies upon a bush of blue bells accidentally overheard the whole conversation. The man sits up and looked at the back of Jaydeen. Then the man smirks at the idea of escape and went back lying down again, enjoying the great view of the sky. The man named, "Aeris".

Vallhala// Garden of Ark - Night Time

Jaydeen quietly stepped through the flowery grounds, heading towards the grounds of the thousand roses. Within a distance, she saw a man with eight wings, wings that were slightly glowing in red, it was Seraphus.

"You are on time, princess." Unwillingly, Seraphus do not wish to face Jaydeen at all, back facing Jaydeen, he slowly flip through Voodoo.

Jaydeen knew Seraphus is falling into deep pain and sorrows. She herself do not wish to see Seraphus in such a state. She replied softly, "I do not know what other words to say but thank you Seraphus, thank you..."

"No need to thank me, princess. You know that if I was sent to capture or even punish you one day, I will not hesitate to do so even if you are my love one princess." Seraphus tightened his grip on his book.

"I know you would, but..."

Seraphus did not give Jaydeen a chance to continue her speech as he himself started chanting, not wishing to continue listening to Jaydeen’s hurtful words, "Vera Vero Verasore, sindiarious sindiar sindaros, Verasindaros! Open! The Gateway Off heaven!!!"

A sudden wave a wind glide through the flower infested grounds of the garden, slowly forming a small weak tornado. Pulling and sucking up the petals of every flower throughout the garden. The grass is rustling like the waves of sea, while the tornado starts to form a pillar of flowers swirlings. The red roses giving the tornado its very first coat of red, then the yellow sunflowers giving it a slighter touch of yellow. Slowly the amount of petals accumulates till it is thick enough to allow people to stand on.

"Go! Go now! Before I change my mind! Now" Seraphus shouted.

Jaydeen stepped towards the tornado, she slowly felt that her steps became lighter and lighter. Then a whole of a sudden, she got levitated and sucked towards the center of the tornado while Jaydeen lies upon the bed of flower petals.

Seraphus opens his eyes widely, "Decendiaros Verasindaros. Descend!"

At first, tornado was just drilling a small hole in the ground, till it reaches a certain depth. Like a large rainbow spear. The petal infested tornado just pierced through the cloudy grounds of Vallhala. The clouds closed up as soon as the tornado departed. Jaydeen had left the grounds of Vallhala, off towards the grounds of earth.

Seraphus then leave no time to rest. He looked around the garden and it was as though a meteor had hit the ground of the garden of Ark. No flowers were seen in a large circular area of the grounds, only broken grass the brown soil.

He flipped 2 pages of Voodoo and starts yelled loudly, "Stelladiaros III, Starlight III!"

All of his wings suddenly blasted out bright red glow of light which shown throughout the whole garden. Even single dead plant miraculously revived as all the soil pops out beautifully bloomed flowers. The garden of Ark was no sooner back to its normal state.

Seraphus noticed a man lying at the bush of blue bells. He closed his eyes again, slowly approaching the bush. Noticing a beautiful violet satin waist cloth, he shut his book. "I would never expect you to be here out of the night so suddenly my friend." Seraphus sits down beside the man "Aeris, what make you stay up so lately?"

The man possessed a violet long hair which exceeded his shoulder for 6 inches. He had a pair of large black eyes which seems as though he could always look through your thoughts. His clean white teeth brightly emphasized by his much tanned skin. He wears a silky cloak like Seraphus but in cyan and along with a long violet satin cloth as a waist belt. He is 2 inches taller then Seraphus but his body is very built up, just like Seraphus. His name is Aeris, the God of war, war strategist of the Celestial Army.

Aeris sits up smiling and looked at Seraphus. He replied cheerfully using a very boyish voice, "A tornado in the garden woke me up from my nap since this afternoon when I was enjoying the magnificent blue sky above while I overhear a lovely conversation among a couple."

"So you already know about it didn't you? Aeris, why didn't you report this to Lord Zeus? Or are you just trying to get benefits out of it?" Seraphus started to sound serious.

"You underestimate me Seraphus, just like you underestimated Jaydeen's feelings. I've expected such incident to happen anytime, as long as it doesnot affects the Army’s performances. I don’t really care about anything you do. But I am rather surprised though."

"Surprised?" Seraphus questioned with curiosity.

"Seems like the perfect records or yours weren’t as perfect as it looks. Tell me, is natural love the reason why you broke your first Celestial Law? Or was it because Cupid shot you behind your back? To let you able to form up such a perfect plan of escape. A flowery love doorway of escape. How romantic."

"I have no comments on this..." Seraphus started blushing.

"Bwahahahaha! Take it easy my friend. Don’t let your cheeks betray you." Aeris laughed, but then he started to speak seriously, his voiced changed from boyish to firm and rather manly, "But. If your heart allows Jaydeen's escape to interfere with your battle performances, I will not and I repeat, I will not even wince a bit to move my nerves and have her annihilated. You know that I have the ability to do so without even moving a nerve."

Aeris patted onto Seraphus's left shoulder while he stands up. Seraphus turned cold. He was sweating furiously as Aeris slowly walked away. Before Aeris left, he add on another line, "Bear that in mind my friend, bear that in mind."

Seraphus faced Aeris while cold sweating, hearing Aeris's sizzling footsteps as Aeris slowly walking away. Seraphus now realised, what a bad decision have he done...

Pandemonium// Infernal Hall

"Ahh... there you are, Lucifer."

The deep and smooth baritone beckoned from within the half-closed doors of the hall, and the fallen angel stepped forward from where he stood between the Royal Guards. When he reached the centre of the hall, he dropped to one knee and bowed his head respectfully. "My Lord."

"Come here, seat with me." The man seated on a extravagant throne of black marble waved Lucifer towards an ebony chair set near him, a smile on his lips. His eyes were semi-closed, and sharp angular features were softened with relaxation. Apparently, he was in a good mood.

The King of Hell was dressed in a simple dark silk robe bound at the waist without much decoration, except for elaborate blood red embroidery on both sash and clothing. His impossibly long black hair was bound into a simple ponytail and left flowing over one handle of his seat, and the moist clinging onto the strands indicated that he had finished his bath not long before.

Lucifer knew that he was one of the very few that had the honor of seeing the ruler of the underworld in such a normal state, and he treasured that honor. It was a sign that his lord trusted him, and knew that he would be able to see past the armor and powers, and understand the person under it all.

After Lucifer sat down, Ghargen spoke up, "Did you manage to meet my son? He rushed out when he heard that you fought Hercules again at the Gates."

"I did. And I assured him that his concerns were misplaced." Lucifer's sentences were usually longer when around Ghargen, and there were not exceptions this time round. "He offered to have me replaced by Cerberus's hounds so I won't have to face somebody who was once my best friend."

"That sounds so disgustingly like Diablo." Ghargen sighed, and lifted a goblet from a nearby table to his lips. "I don't even know where he found all that goodness from me and Pandora to inherit from."

Lucifer could not help but smile genuinely at the exasperated tone behind Ghargen's words. Another sign of normalcy from the great King of Underworld, headache of Zeus. And it had not been the first time Ghargen sounded like the father who did not know what to do with his son.

Ghargen sighed again. "And he even suggested that I should take a break and leave things to you and him for a while. He claims that being cooped up in here is making me bad-tempered and self-centered, and basically, evil. I still can't believe he managed to blame everything onto stress."

"My Lord?" Lucifer was alarmed by the way Ghargen said the part about taking a break. He was unsure, but he thought he heard a hint of wistfulness in the ruler's voice.

"You know it won't be happening. I will not let go of things here. Especially not when the Heavenly Brat is making things difficult at the Gates. Zeus is not only a lousy ruler, he's a bad father too."

But Lucifer was not entirely convinced, but he knew better than to voice it out. But it continued to stay at the back of his mind, even as he carried a half-hearted conversation with the demon king.

Those eyes. Diablo could not get those eyes out of his mind, Lucifer had that effect on him. As he treaded down the hall, he felt that same burning sensation as if the Fallen was staring at him right at that moment. It unnerved him. Diablo had seen those eyes on only one other person; his mother, Pandora. They were cruel, piercing eyes, with flames not even all the fires of hell can compare to; he hated them as much as he hated his mother.

The young prince of hell did not trust the Fallen Lucifer, in fact, he spared no trust for any fallen. He believed that demons had more integrity then those treachrous turn coats. You don't hear of any 'Risen Demons' now do you? However, there was also a mix of affection for the fox-like Lucifer, for on more then one occassion, Diablo owed his life to the general. Lucifer's battle prowess far surpassed Diablo's, of that he was certain, and although the Fallen was sadistic and merciless on the battlefield, it was often due to him that they emerged victorious.

Besides...even with all the suspicion and uneasiness between them, Diablo couldn't help but feel closer to Lucifer then anyone else. If Lucifer thought ill of the prince for his weakness, he was better at hiding it then most others. There were few kind people in the pit known as hell, and it was no place for a demon with sentimentality; Diablo was not as foolish as to think Lucifer was a kind person, but he was a well behaved and did not sink down to name slandering.

It wasn't long before Diablo reached the Inferno Halls, where his father and, wouldn't you know it, Lucifer were in conversation. "Good evening, father, are you feeling well? Should you not be in bed? Please don't over-exert yourself, it is not good for your health, father," Diablo said quickly in a flurry, he did not mean to become so upset over such trifling things, but with his situation with his mother, Diablo had grown more attached to his father.

Although this didn't mean Diablo was oblivios to the fact he was a failure, he failed as a son and as a Demon Prince. He was too easily moved and beridden with 'emotion' to have any competency as the heir, sometimes, he wished he could just hand over his throne to Lucifer. Heck, it wouldn't be a suprise if his father had already planned to do so.

"It's nice to see you again too, Lucifer, I hope you're feeling well," Diablo smiled softly as he addressed the Fallen, "The offer still stands, I would be more then happy to help you in anyway I can, my friend,"
Seluna
My friend? A single eyebrow twitched, an action that could easily be missed, but happened nonetheless. The fallen angel immediately re-evaluated his opinion of the demon prince, though he was torn, just a little, between thinking that the rumors were completely untrue and Diablo may have inherited his father's slyness, or that the prince was even nicer than told by the grapevine.

How often did two people become friends through an extreme short, and not exactly friendly, conversation?

"Lucifer is deeply honored by your concern and attention, my prince." The former angel made sure that his tone was scrupulously polite. "I am content with my duties at the Gates and would like to continue with it. Unless, of course, if you or Lord Ghargen wishes to re-position me, then I will abide to your wishes."

With his midnight eyes, Lucifer made it blatantly clear that he meant every word he said, though he would listen to Diablo's orders only because he was the son of Ghargen.
Akito
Diablo tilted his head in a soft smile, "You're very welcome," The young prince wasn't exactly sure, but he could've sworn the Fallen angel's face moved after he had said 'friend'. Although Diablo didn't mind, keep your friends close and your enemies closer still.

Which was Lucifer? Enemy or friend? Diablo was yet to be sure. He didn't like the angel's eyes.

"If you have no qualms with your current position, I see no reason to change it," Diablo said, a hand held to his waist. "Please continute to do your best,"

Then taking a few steps forward, the prince offered his out stretched hand for the Fallen to shake, "Your loyalty is an example to us all, Lucifer," Staring for a moment into the former angel's eyes, Diablo couldn't help but flinch slightly. "Excuse me, I've had a rough day,"

Light streaked down from the sky, lightening in the midst of the world's sin. Though avoidable if one were to look through closed eyes, the spectacle, the opening of heaven's gates always awakened Auria's guardian sense. Especially now. Envoys from heaven always announced the coming of their presence, no matter how great or how small their position in the blessed hiearchy of the gods.

For throughout the eternity of Auria's life, the witty beast managed to attract a vast and partly exclusive web of contacts, revealing the comings and goings of most angels and demons alike. Virtually, there should be no excuse for this lapse in information, yet the situation was as it was. Even more so than from his encounter with the demoness, Lilith, Auria tensed--nervous, baffled, and annoyed.

With slight hesitation, the satyr placed the palms of his hands on the ground. A ram's coat quickly splayed across Auria's physique, rising from his abdomen. Finger nails both hardened and blackened as the appendages retracted: first into a tight fist, yet as the hair reached the beginnings of his wrist, the hands crystalized. Hooves. The facial transformation appeared most drastically. Horns extended painfully from the skull, curving tightly with the progression. The flat nose curved outward, forging bulbous nostrils and a widened mouth.

As a ram, Auria believed he could make it to the envoys destination in but a matter of minutes. For the being would most likely desire the least guarded area on earth to serve as a landing: the Garden of Eden itself. While an angel with a sword aflame was positioned by Zeus himself to guard the gardens, the heavenly host would periodically blind-sight himself for a price. Not only this, but many a god were actually permitted to come and go freely from the vicinity.

Whether either situation occurred, or even if the destination lay across the farthest reaches of the earth itself, Auria had to see what was to come with his own eyes.

(OOC: I do hope this works, Ah Dan. I hope to get both Lilith and Pandora's profiles done sometime soon, though I just hope this doesn't stretch me out too far.)

Lucifer could phantom a guess for the reason behind Diablo's reaction when they made eye contact. After all, when many other people did a similar thing, one simply got used to it. But he showed no sign of knowing as he took Diablo's hand and smiled with only a hint of iciness. "As my prince wishes."

Standing, he turned to face the amused ruler of all demons with a small bow. "My Lord, I would like to excuse myself as well. It is late and I have affairs to take care of before I leave for the Gates tomorrow."

"Alright, I won't keep you from your chores for too long." Ghargen drained his goblet of its content and lounged lazily in his seat. "I myself have a visitor later, so I'm going to stay here."

Lucifer bowed again in acknowledgement, then sent a polite nod in Diablo's direction before leaving the hall with thoughtful eyes.

"A wolf," Diablo thought grimly to himself, as Lucifer stepped outside. The demon prince stole a glance at the fallen before he departed before bowing curtly to his father, "I, too, should leave, I have nothing urgent to take care of but I am rather tired, father,"

"Promise me you'll get some rest tonight, I beg of you," Diablo smiled softly at his father, with an almost estranged tenderness for a demon. "Don't push yourself too hard," The prince of hell said as he too stepped outside, leaving his father to his own machinations.

"I will have to be vigilant around that man, Lucifer," Diablo thought as he traced his way back to his room, "I hope father stays safe..."

Melancholia// Abysmal Palace

By the time Lucifer reached in own palace in Melancholia, it had been hours past midnight, and his craving for a warm bath to clear himself of the dirt and dust of his travels was making his temper short. Luckily for his servants, they were quick enough to notice it and prepared it for him in record time, avoiding any bloodshed. They even sent for his concubines, but he had enough of succubi for one day, and dismissed them abruptly.

"Friend... huh?" Soaking in the way and letting the scent of sandalwood vanquish the heavy stink of blood that he had have to carry about since the battle at the Gates, the fallen allowed his thoughts to drift to the... interesting conversation with the prince of hell. The puff of air exiting from his nostrils forcibly to mix with the steam in the room was once again filled with contempt. "What is the use of friendship when nothing is ultimately gained?"

The young demon washing Lucifer's hair blinked in confusion. He was not sure if the fallen had directed the question to him or not, and did not know whether to respond to it. Fear of punishment had him settling for a soft and respective inquiry, "My Lord?"

"It's nothing." Lucifer beckoned for him to continue, and the room resumed its previous silence. Almost too soon, the water cooled to less than optimal temperature, and Lucifer got up to return to his room. But the events of the day continued to wander in his mind, even as he laid in bed, waiting for sleep to come. Hours later, he would wake up and lead his private unit back to Nether Gates, where he would wait for his former 'best-friend' to challenge him, with revenge as a petty excuse. And so he slept.

[OOC: Just a little something to move things on. Anyway, rean, there's still a slot for whatever you have planned.]
