Anyone here have it and tryed it? I never bought the game for the pc since I already had eq2 and didnt want to pay another monthly bill but since its on the 360 with xbox live I thought Id give it a shot. So anyone here have it? If so what would u rate it?

i never got it for console, but ive played it for the PC and honestly as bad as EQ2 was(and yes it was bad), you'd be better off just playing that more or buying WoW for the PC. Thats just my opinion.

You still have to pay for a playonline account with the xbox 360. The thing is, you only need XBL Silver (the free kind!) to play it. So you don't need to pay for Xbox Live to play FFXI. I think the same goes for PSU.

ugh I couldnt stand wow. It was just numbing. If I wanted to play a cartoon I could turn on my n64 lol. The only thing that wow had going for it was pvp. eq2 has pvp but its just idiotic the way its set up. Cant beat it for graphics and content though.
The Evil Dead
You'd be better off with the PC version in all honesty... There'd be more users and I can't remember if the expansion packs are available on the 360 or not ( I wouldn't be surprised if they were though )

And I can't remember if this is for FFXI or PSU... But PS2 and PC players play together if I remember correctly. ( I think it may be for PSU though )

On FFXI, PS2 (soon to be PS3 I assume), Xbox 360, and PC players all play on the same servers. However, all users are assigned random servers (or not so random if you have a world pass) when they first create a character anyways. smile.gif
All of the expansion packs are available on all three systems. Xbox 360 would be the cheapest way to do it, since its either $49.99 or $59.99. I forget.
For the PC they have a box set of all 3, for PS2, well, all expansions are available, but they pretty much dropped support for it.

wow i think pvp is the worst aspect of WoW, but thats just me. If you do go through with getting this game go PC I would say.

I've tried it on the x-box, it's pretty and all, but because of my TV, I cannot see HP bars too well and as a white mage that really screws me over so, I stick to the PC and My sister plays the Xbox.

There really isnt that much of a difference in my opinion between the Xbox 360 version and the PC as long as you have a keyboard for the Xbox 360. You WILL need a keyboard to play this game. Every now and again you get into a party with someone who doesnt have a keyboard and its so obvious as they totally suck. Its quite a complicated game if you want to play it really well however in my opinion its better than most other MMORPG because they actually put effort into updating it and keeping you interested.

The only big problem with FFXI is that you can spend an entire day doing nothing but looking for people to play with. I play Phantasy Star Universe on my ps2 while i wait for parties and FFXI as my main game (since PSU membership is quite cheap)

Square have been releasing FF games for several consoles for quite some time. Crystal Chronicles for Gamecube, and a lot of GBA, PSP and Nintendo DS titles as well.
