Glaring at this movie in the rental store I was quiet suspicious of its quality. Why was I like that?
This movie looked like another film like the Army of Darkness, which is in no way bad, but copying the aspect of the movie was a little out-dated.
Luckily, I was way off. This movie was actually one of the most realistically acted horror films and still one of the funniest films since Army of Darkness. The only concepts I saw that was different was that the enemies weren't zombies, but slugs, and that it wasn't silly humour. The movie is outstandingly funny and made to perfection in it's own field. Opinions...?

You can attribute the hilarious script to director James Gunn, who comes from the Troma camp.
Anyway, Slither was most definitely an excellent time at the movies. It had that vibe from all those old 50's sci fi movies, a hilarious script and great tongue in cheek acting from the cast. Plus it has Nathan Fillion, you can't go wrong with that.
If anyone here hasn't seen Slither then get your ass out and rent it, it's an awesome film. In fact thanks for bringing up this topic because I need to go out and buy the DVD.
There's spoilers in this post.
I prefer Feast myself.
Though, Slither was excellent though. It was quite funny at times while keeping the horror aspect alive. It's found it interesting they decided to kill everyone with bugs in their head after Grant was killed. Though, I can't believe they killed the comic relief mayor off, man!
Overall, quite solid. I did like the aspect they turned people into cows and made them have undesirable hunger all the time. The best kill scene had to be when Grant sliced that dude in half everyone surrounded him in the field. That was excellent!

I thought it was OK.
Nothign really great about the movie in my opinion.
I liked the concept of the slugs having a collective mind. I liked all the parts after the woman exploded and let all the slugs out.
but everything before that I didnt care too much for. It was ok, but I think they took too long to get to the part where the slugs took over.
and the whole thing with the girl who had the slug that almost took over her, but did give her some of the collective memories, I didnt like that all that much. It seemed very cliched and corny.
The humor in it was awesome. I really liked the sheriff and some of his comments. I didnt really care much for the mayor, There were times when he was funny, and times when he was just stupid.
All in all I think it was Ok. worth a rent.
Something interesting about the DVD that i found.
There is a part called "who is Bill Parody" (Might have mispelled that)
I watched this, and it seemed like it was there just to insult the actor that played as the cop main character. Like everyone was saying that the person was a complete jerk.
I enjoyed watching the special features of the DVD.
