The Evil Dead
Well right now I'm currently working my way through Burnout: Revenge on the 360 with a good friend of mine and it's really reminding me how much I've enjoyed these titles ever since I picked up the 3rd a couple years back. They're really fast paced, arcade style racers that have all sorts of unique and fun features that really puts the game series above and beyond most of the boring sim style racers out there.

I'm not much for racers myself, but the series is so much fun and offers a ton of unlockables and achievements that just keeps me playing again and again. I think I'm going to work my way back to the third one here on my PS2 because I like it just a little more than Revenge.

Anyway... Anyone else here a big fan? I'm hoping a new one comes out soon.

##### yeah man, Burnout kicks ass. I became a fan after i bought the second game and i keep having a blast. I did like Takedown's racing over Revenge's but on the other hands Rv's crash mode was better than Td's because on this one it was just silly and more about getting powrups than actually crashing but the last one was balanced. I didnt get into that whole traffic check on Revenge because it kinda took away the challenge. I remember going nuts on Takedown dodging everything on the left and on the right.

Also, Burnout is one of the best damn games to play while drunk or high, its just incredibly awesome to be with fiends dodging hell while heavily inebriated.

Here is a small little treat TED, they are releasing an exclusive ps2 burnout game in 2007 before Burnout 5 is released. Its good the guys are giving a last game before the jump to the next gen, at least the complete jump as Revenge was beefed up for the 3sucky.

Yeah man, who doesn't like crashing cars into other cars, and getting rewarded for it? Best racing games ever IMO. And the soundtracks? ####### brillant, I used to have them playing in the background when I was playing my GBA games on my TV. I think it suited the X-Box very well, right trigger gas, left trigger brake, A button boost, simple. Revenge would have been perfect if not for that stupid traffic check thing, although 'throwing' cars as we call it, is prety fun.

Roll on 5.

That's good to hear that Burnout 5 is on its way for, well... Lets be honest they're current gen consoles now. =P I have a 360 and a PS3 so getting a hold of it will be no problem.

As for Dominator, I'm gonna get it as well for my PS2. Twice the Burnout action for me.

And yeah... I didn't really care for the traffic checking myself in Revenge, it kinda took away a BIT of the challenge in a race as in Burnout 3 you really had to be careful about other cars around you. I remember going crazy trying not to hit a car and ruin the whole race by getting into a wreck.

i love BurnOut... Takedown was just pure fun. Revenge took some of the challenge out of it with the checking. weaving through traffic made alot simpler when you can just shunt others.

Crash mode in Revenge was definitely improved.

Arcade racers>>> sim racers
Ragnarok
I like Burnout games, they entertain me.

I like the way the games are done, the different modes were great, I espcially liked playing the game where you try to cause the most damage with a buddy.
Dragon Brigade
I played Burnout: Takedown during the summer and I thought it was really fun. Ramming into other cars and watching them blow up is always pretty fun tongue.gif The races were kinda easy, I thought, but the crash mode multiplayer was always pretty entertaining.

I started with Takedown and then decided to get Revenge. I really enjoy both even though as already mentioned, Revenge is far more easier than Takedown.

I personally can't wait for Dominator and I hope it'll combine the best things from both Takedown and Revenge. =)

I got burnout for my psp a while back and I only play when I get ticked at my other games, it's a nice... stress reliver, very fun to destroy the other cars.
