Can anyone make a timeline of all the Zelda games? I don't mean like a game timeline but a time in which the games occured, such as: which story came first and which one was the last?
Athrun
There's no confirmed timeline at all. We only know a few things for certain, that Nintendo have specified. Like Wind Waker being after Ocarina of Time I think.

But there is a very interesting timeline theory video from IGN. Definitely worth checking out.

No, I cant. But what I am going to do is Link (no pun intended) you to one of many timelines i have encountered.

I have read other timelines but dont have the links to them right now, this will have to suffice, it seems pretty alright.

Remember though, there is no official timeline, just theories and speculations done by fans but it seems like the closest thing to find about that particular subject.

Raz check out that vid I posted. It has some very interesting ideas.

Well I know only 4 Zeldas in an order,

Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask
Twilight Princess
Wind Waker (100 years after Ocarina of Time, can't remember where I heard that but I remember that's what I heard.)
Grahf
The 100 years thing (also heard it, but cant remember where) is incorrect, because in the game, they state that hundreds of years have passed (also stated in the link that Raz posted) and it makes sense that more than 100 years have passed due to the loss of all knowledge of Hyrule and all that fun stuff.

I DONT WANT TO, GO AWAY SPYWARE.

I'll give it a watch.

So what did you think? Interesting? At first I was skeptical when they mentioned the two timelines, but as they went on it seemed to fit more and more. And that Nintendo guy even said that there are two timelines after OOT.
Razael
Yeah, I never thought of it that way. I thought that when Link goes back everything resets without the other timeline surviving.

Taking that in mind, whats the point of sending him back if it would make matters worse by the split. It could be Zelda's "goodness" as always that prohibits her from thinking about the consequences of sending Link back, but then again, if a lot of people thought like i did, maybe thats how zelda though as well, everything goes back to child link, Ganon doesnt get his power, and the "bad" timeline ceases to exist.

But it didnt and it actually makes sense to split it giving way to two complete universes to play through and with because its easier to explain the timeline that way than i a straight line.

I can't remember any statement in the game that says that but I'll take your word for it.

Yeah, that also makes more sense.

I remember now, I heard it on Gamezville (I used to watch it, I think it's been cancelled now)
