For KH Re:COM, there's an extra battle between Riku and Zexion where you control Riku to defeat the dude! <3 And damn Squenix for still doing the cliff-hanger. The screenie shows him replicating Riku's weapon. >.< Unless that's his real weapon, something that resembles Riku's sword. >.> Which is just too lame.

As for KH: FM... the one on one Sora vs Roxas battle!! Holy shiat!

And, there are new screenies for FFVII: CC, showing Aeris and Cloud from 7 years before (seperately, of course), and a peek at the battle system! It seems that SOLDIER Zacks is summoning Ifrit! And is that Aeris I see?

KH2 Final Mix info

At the Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix announced it will release Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix + in Japan. The game will be based on the American release of KHII, meaning that all the voices are dubbed in English with Japanese subtitles. The game will also feature a few extra updates, such as additional event scenes, battles, map secrets, limits and drive forms.
From what it looks like KH2 Final Mix will be a 2 disc set, the first of which will be the full game with all of the stuff added into the U.S. version. The second disc will include Kingdom Hearts: Re: Chain of Memories, a 3-D remake of the GBA title. Of course it'll have the same KH2 style graphics and control scheme as before. Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix is slated for release in Japan in spring 2007.

Im just hoping Square decides to release this one in the States. If not, start importing.

Uhh... They based it on the US version, so extremely likely, they will release it out of Japan as well. It wouldn't make sense to have a game that will only be selling in Japan be talking English. >.> Well, I don't have too big of a problem with KH's dubbing, so I may get it afterall, considering all those extra scenes are quite tantilizing.

Well Square only released the original KH Final Mix in Japan and that game had the dialogue in english with Japanese subtitles. Until Square says "KH2 Final Mix will be released elsewhere", I'm not going to get my hopes of it being released outside of Japan, but it's still very likely it will be.

Well I hate to say it but it wouldn't be the first time they did that. FFX International and Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix were based on the English versions and had English voices as well. Only sold in Japan though.

But this time it comes with the remake of Chain of Memories, so I think that increases the chances of a US and European version being released.

Apparently, Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix is coming the U.S. according to EGM. Reported by 1up.com the upcoming February 2007 edition of EGM magazine confirms that Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix will be coming to the states somewhere around fall 2007. I noticed that Sora has his KH 2 outfit in those pictures though. And the card battle system isn't seen, instead you see the regular battle screen menu. Does that mean this battle is from KH 2?

Well, Zexion is easily my favorite character that barely saw the light of day. He was a significant influence to Ansem The Wise's research, but his weapon, so far, has never been revealed. Hopefully the CoM redux goes into more depth, but I'd be happy just to see it hit shore.

Nomura wanted to keep his weapon a surprise, so it must be really something. *-*

I'm really curious about that screen that Hiku posted. The command menu doesn't look familiar, either. So it could be that they added another world or sub-world so you have the ability to fight the CoM Organization members in KH2??? That's just my two cents.

I'm happy to hear that it'll be released in the US. (Unless that's a lame joke at everyone's expense. XD *crosses fingers*) I'll probably end up trading in my original copy for Final Mix. Haha, what's the point in having two of the same game, right?

What will really make my day will be if they make the Roxas vs Riku scene into a real battle, but not fighting on the side of the building, that will give me creepies (I'm afraid of heights). But that's practically asking for the impossible... Though I have a feeling, after seeing the Roxas screenie in Twilight Town with Sora's name floating in front of him, that we'll be seeing a lot more of the Organization's plot stuff all the way from when they got Roxas. I imagine there's a lot of fanfics out there that are going to have to start tagging on 'AU' after KH2: FM's release. XD

What's 'AU'? And I saw some sort of score system above the lifebars when fighting Lewxaeus, so I think it's some sort of special battle, perhaps in the colluseum. Either way it sounds cool. I hope they add all COM bosses in KH 2 one way or another.

That screenshot of KH1 Sora probably is because he's teleported to his past world. But I don't know, too funny to think he'd change back to his old sailor suits. Or probably from CoM.

It's a new Form for him in KH 2. I don't know what it does exactly but it looks like he can do some special attacks while in that form.

But he becomes younger while he's in that form, not just about changing suits, that's why I had a doubt about it.

How could you tell if he got younger or not from that first picture? XD But to me he looks like he does at the beginning of KH2 before he gets his new outfit, and not younger, but I can't say for sure since I haven't played much.

But a form change is not just about the costume. Remember that he can turn into a Heartless creature as well in one of his forms. So maybe he does get younger, I don't know.

It would be cool if Sora and Riku could get a Form fusion together in KH2 FM. Maybe get an Organisation outfit while fusing?

While he was young, his hair color is thick brownish, and that seems to fade after he's grown abit mature (With his black suits).
Yes, it is a form, coz that location of blue reefs or mountains are from KH2. ^^;;
But I still believe he gets younger in that old form. See the hair color difference.

I dunno 1llz. XD I think it might be because you're comparing artwork and CG to in-game graphics where shadows and lighting are different. That artwork above shows bright lighting on Sora's hair. But here is an artwork image of KH2 Sora with dark brown hair.



And these two CG looks pretty similar to me. Body length, face and hair.

Does he have Strike Raid in KH 2? Because it looks like he used it in one of the screenshots. And in the one I posted it looked like he did some sort of energy rain attack which I've never seen before.

In KH2? I know Strike Raid is in there, but it's a Reaction Command. I don't remember exactly where you get to use it, it may've been Roxas. Not too sure.

I think I'm the only one who didn't care for that move! :/ I couldn't properly use it in KH1 and I loved Arc Arcanum in CoM. Strike Raid just never clicked, but I've seen a few people able to use that dang move so that Sora throws it more than once. I always miss, too! XD

About that "old" Sora outfit, 'case anyone hasn't already figured this out: Yes, it's a new form. (And no, he doesn't get younger. He just gets a similar outfit.) The new form allows you to use a handful of abilities from the first game, such as Dodge Roll and Ragnarok. (Ragnarok seems to be the one depicted in a few of those screens posted.) I'm not sure how it will be obtained, or anything like that, but it has been confirmed as a new forum entirely, allowing you to use skills from the first game. Might be more to it, though I haven't heard anything more.

By the way, thanks for that, Athrun. Pretty neat track. Always nice to have something extra like that on my computer. ^^

That answers the question I had, haha. I noticed Ragnarok as one of the attacks as well, but the matter of Sora's age actually changing through a form change had me wondering. I'm kind of glad that it's a nod to KH1 and nothing more. I personally miss the attacks myself, but do you know if the Reaction Commands will be disabled/replaced while in this form, or simply integrated into it?

In this image here it says Judgement next to the triangle button, but it looked a bit like Strike Raid to me.

Huh, that's interesting... I wonder if the name of the last attack command is simply altered , because that does look like Ragnarok's final attack, Atty. As far as Judgment goes, I'm pretty sure that was the final attack command of Strike Raid. Could be wrong though.

Yeah, it's just the final attack names. Ragnarok finishes with Impact -- Giga Impact, in this case; probably an upgraded version, since Sora's older and more skilled now. (Or just for the sake of change. Whatever.) Strike Raid ends with Judgment.

And yeah, they seem to be Reaction Commands for things like Ragnarok and Strike Raid. This is all I've got:
