Hound
Wow. I saw the preview of this movie in theaters before I watched the disgustingly worthless film of Eragon.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0799949/

I just thought I would mention this movie. I hated Date Movie, but the Scary Movie series is awesome. This one looks simply great. The Superman parody was hilarious.

OH MY SWEET MOTHER OF HORNY LORD

That Mary Castro is insanely hot. I am game, should be good for a laugh.

And kumar is in it, alright.
The Evil Dead
It looks like it could be a good one. I've always enjoyed spoof films myself, and one of this nature could be fairly enjoyable if it is done properly. The Scary Movie films are decent enough, but Date Movie was indeed true crap.

We'll see how this turns out. It does have Kal Penn from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle so you can't beat that.

After seeing the trailer this movie looks about as funny as shooting my self in the foot. It is not even a spoof it is just ripped of scenes from other movies.

Wow do you even know what a spoof is?
Voyou San
honestly looks as terrible as the first 3.. im with worsle, as much as i hate to admit it... i think id rather be emo and slit my wrists then watch this... these types of movies are just getting old.. i mean at one time they were actually alittle big comical and something worth it, but that time was short and it is gone

Wow have you seen a good spoof? Really watch the trailer, they might as well be stealing scripts and adding some really unfunny sex joke... or more they are. When the best they can get for a tag line is 2 of the 6 writers of scary movie you know what you are in for.
The Evil Dead
No Worlse, I worked in a video store for over 2 years and never watched any spoof films. Ever.

Good for you, but it would mean you know the diffrence between a spoof and a rip off with some sex joke. I mean lol it is a talking beaver guess what they do with that.
The Evil Dead
What's the difference between that, and the Leslie Neilson movies Naked Gun? Yeah wow, he pees in a stall for five minutes over a mic so everyone can hear him pissing. Yeah, that's a hell of a lot more funny than some random sex joke. That movie was a spoof.

They're silly, they usually consist of lowbrow humor, if you don't like them that's fine but I fail to see how this movie doesn't qualify as a spoof.

I'm not saying this movie is going to be amazing either nor am I defending it... But it's a spoof.

Been some time sinse I have seen the Naked Gun movies but I liked them, hell I even liked the first scary movie. They where not brillent or high brow movies but they did make fun of the sillynese of the type of movies they where spoofing rather than just steal random parts then knock them together in the dark (not saying parts where not lifted just it was done well). Hell they are even ripping of Borat for some reason.

Edit, think I have explained my self badly but oh well it still stands this looks like a bad movie no matter what.
Dragon Brigade
I saw a trailer for this when my family went to see Eragon, and it was so random compared to the other movie previews I didn't know what to think. I don't think it's something I personally will be looking forward to next year. Maybe if I see a new trailer of it it'll pique my interest more, but I don't really think much of it at this point...
cloudycat
This sort of thing has been done far too much i'll be avoiding this like the plague.

Hound, was Eragon really that bad? I haven't decided if I want to see it yet.

I know this is a little off topic from the actual topic itself, but cloudycat: As far as Eragon is concerned, I thought the musical score was very well done. In some places you could just tell it was Patrick Doyle, because some of the music was similar to that of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I also thought the cinematics were very well done. As far as the casting, some of the characters were questionable, but I thought it was alright. The story could definitly have been shown better. Most of the book wasn't put in (it followed the book, just A LOT of parts were cut out) to the point it seemed it was just way too rushed. But overall, I personally thought it was a fine movie and definitly at least worth watching once, but again, that's just my opinion. I know a lot of people would disagree...
