This is disappointing news for Nintendo fans, but it's not all bad.

We just hope that Nintendo can get enough titles out to keep Wii Remotes and touch screens busy over the typically quiet summer period.

No Mario star game until a year afte the release of the Nintendo Wii. Metroid 3 got delayed, too. Though, there's speculation that the online arena might be being fix or change. Nothing, but speculation at the moment. Zelda: PH will be delayed.

Metroid Prime 3 is coming out in March.

Mario Galaxy will probably be released around Septemeber, hopefully a tad earlier.

Zelda DS was meant to be out November just gone, I expect to see it this November.

Bit of a bummer about Mario though, but I rather they spread the games out than release it same time as MP3 and Brawl.

Reminds me of the GC launch kinda, except that this time it had Zelda at launch, so it's better to hold people over for a while.

But I also heard that metroid will probably come out around fall 07. But maybe it's March as Wii said?

Well, what games are there to hold people over until those games are released?

It's all rumors since no real official announcement. Not to mention "We never confirmed a date for Super Mario Galaxy, but I can confirm that Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 and Phantom Hourglass will all release in 2007. We can't confirm an exact release date for any of these titles at this time." All that said would be that all games would be released in 2007, no exact date.

Also, the title of the topic might confused people. Not all games would be released in Q4, only Mario Galaxy and Zelda DS. My mistake.

Though, it seem Mario Galaxy won't be released until Q4.

Metroid delay was nothing big. Like I have read, they might be adding online arena, but nothing confirmed. Wii likely dead on with the release time for Metroid.

Metroid, Super Smash Brothers Brawl and other games would likely keep interest in the Wii high.

Well in the article you posted, it did seem to mention Metroid also being delayed until the end of 2007.

Reggie went on record saying Metroid will be ready for March. I cant be bothered to find a quote, but i'm sure he said it not too long ago. He let slip that Galaxy was being delayed untill later in 07 in that same interview.

I dont think MP3 can slip, Nintendo need to learn from Gamecube and keep the momentum going after launch, a game the calibur of Metroid is sure to do that. Though I guess there is Smash Bros too.
