So im playing on my pc late at night with adult swim on and this dumbass show called fooly cooly comes on. Someone stupid but interesting enough to check out the next episone. The next day however it says episode 1 so I look the series up on the net and it says only 6 episodes were made in season 1 back in 03. Did the series bomb to hell or somthing?

No it was an OVA so it wasn't meant to last long. Besides that series wow. . . I don't know i it was the grass I "burned" but i broadened my horizons. Its actuaaly quite funny If you get the silly references they make on the show, on each episode.

Fooly Cooly is awesome. I loved that anime.
Just because a series is short doesnt mean that it bombed.
Im not sure if it was meant to become a TV series or if the creators just wanted it to be 6 episodes long.
I have yet to hear someone say that the series was not good. This is one of the series that a lot of anime fans know, and none that i have talked to disliked it.

It is the goofiest anime. Which is why I liked it. It didn't really have much in the way of plot, but the humor more than made up for that.

only saw 1 episode and it seemed kind of goofy. Though I figured all anime shows usually have a good season or 2. Was just shocked that it only had 6 shows and that made up the entire thing.

It's great even though it is only 6 episodes, and to understand everything you have to watch the series 3 + times. Seriously.

And I'm pretty sure there was something about like, a space pirate or a ninja goblin jigga boo flaming momo, or something. But yeah I never really got 100% of it, but it's a good way to kill a half hour.

well after watching the second episode. I can only surmise that that red head is just plain old ##### up in the head lol. I mean wtf kinda Gothic ##### is that? Burn everything to hell lol.

I think the show is so goofy because they just needed to find a way to fill a half an hour and make the plot very subtle and not so in your face. I know the first time I watched it I didnt get anything about the plot then on the second time I got it.

I never figured out what fooly cooly is , I know they explian the meaning of furi kuri in the show in the first episode when they go into that manga scene.

It was something. It's the worst of the anime. Kinda annoying.

It's a good show once you realize all it was meant to be was a 3 hour music video. thus all the guitars.

I didn't love the anime, but I certainly didn't hate it. It was wacky, but more in the fun sense for me.

Even though I really hated this anime I gotta hand it to em, the characters do develop pretty well for the show only being 6 episodes long and plus the soundtrack wasn't to shabby either.

The ending theme on the American ver. (dunno if it's the same for Japanese or other countries) sounded familiar to me. I heard it somewhere else (a song somewhere)
