Is there any replay bonuses for playing through the game again? Also can you keep playing after finishing the story to do more hunts and rare game? I'm almost done with the story but have a few more hunts to do, I would rather finish the game then come back and do those if I can.

Well, what happens is that the final dungeon has no save points, and you cant get out of it, so you beat it, if you load your game, then you just start where you saved before entering the final dungeon, as for bonuses, I'm not sure as I havent played the game since I beat it.

To help keep you a bit less nervous, the last dungoen is actually extremely short. You basically go through two rooms and then start the last few fights of the game. Honestly, there's no drawback on beating the game other than the fact you are seeing the ending...which I guess is a good thing really.

Yeah, and I was surprised that after I had beaten the game, I was still able to use the same file. I was saved in Jahara, the land of the Gariffs, and I took the airship to Bahamut. After I beat the game I loaded up the same file and lo' and behold, I was still saved in Jahara. o_o;

I don't see why you're surprised. That's been happening in RPG's for as long as I remember outside of a few that let you do like new game plus's and all that good crap.

Most of the games you like save before the final boss or dungeon, beat the boss, and unless you can save clear data your save has you outside of the last boss dungeon again.

Replays in RPG's are nice... I'd like to see a company let you do a new game plus where you can keep your level and gear, but the opponents are far more difficult and there's even more gear that you're able to gather... Don't think we'll really see that happen though.

They do it in some hack and slash titles like Champions of Norrath but doing it in an RPG would be a bit more work.
