Anyone remember playing these for the PC. It got through Myst, stuck in Riven. Got any good memories from the games?
Dragon Brigade
YES!!! This game was awesomeness. I watched my older sister play both of these games. The music was awesome from both of these games. I remember seeing her go through all those burnt books in the beginning of the game....good game...Riven was good too. I don't remember much, since I was about 8, and no one in my family's played it since thn.

Do you remember the two guys trapped in the books in Myst? I remember playing Myst for the first time seeing them talk through the static. And no one else was on the island. It freaked me out a little. Creepy...
Dragon Brigade
Yeah, I remember when that happened. I thought it was weird when I first saw them, especially since I was little and didn't understand what they were saying. And I always thought someone would ambush the guy on the island, you know, because he was alone...and he never was, so that added to the intensity tongue.gif

You know what else was creepy, reading the books at the beginning and how the two guys visited the worlds, and later destroyed them. Also, in one of the ages, in the insane guys room, there was a hologram of a rose. If you went up to it, the rose turned into a rotting skull!

EDIT: I wish I could erase my memory or something and go through the game again.
Dragon Brigade
Oh, I don't remember the skull part...Yeah, I really should try and play this game again...'cept I wouldn't need to erase my memory of it since I was little at the time, so my memory is limited. But I remember most of it happy.gif

Isn't this that boring point and click only game??

Oh yes, those two... if I recall one was quite a nutter while the other one appeared to be quite calm but was in fact easily ticked off. And... *spoilers!*

... they were both just as evil if you tried to help them. Only their father was the good guy (what was his name again?). I found it odd how after saving the father and ending Myst's story, you could keep wandering around with nothing more to do.

I thought Myst's puzzles were logical and nothing too hard. Riven on the other hand gave me a really hard time, and I didn't have net access back then. I remember that horrible huge grid puzzle with the marbles. Once you knew how it worked (which I've now long forgotten) it wasn't that hard to do, but still... Riven was too hard for my taste.

I lost my interest in the series with Myst III (which I finished with 95% walkthrough usage).

You're probably thinking of the right game(s). Imo they're quite hard to get into, though I did enjoy them (especially the first; Myst) way back then.

Yep i remember Myst/Riven but i never really played riven right through i dont know why i hear theres some more games out now is this right?

Myst was good if you like games where you have to use your brain and think about what your doing insted of just blowing everyones heads off when i played it i suppose it was quite creepy cause i was a bit younger but still quite good games

There's Myst III: Exile, and there is also this online Myst thingie where you can explore with multiple people or something like that, but I dunno if that one is already completed. Then there should also be a sequel to Exile, but once again I've no idea if it has already been completed or is still in the works. As I said earlier, I lost interest in the series with Exile.

Ok heres what i got
Myst
Myst II Riven
Myst III Exile
Myst IV Revelation
Myst V End of Ages
