Okay, I just got the new dot hack/ g.u. and so far its more of a movie theme or at least that is what I think of it so far. Alot of my friends where asking me if I had liked the updated version just the same as the other dot hack series. Frankly, I dont understand the whole comustimization of the weapons as I did in the last series. It has taken me half the game to really understand the consept of what everything is used for. I have also found it really hard to die in this one as well. I have yet to die like I had soooo many times in the first series. In a way I really liked the old set up better but you can't beat the graphics in this one either. For most of you who have played. What is your thoughts on the last series to this one?

its hard to die for this G.U b/c that haseo is a lengary char. i would have to tell u to watch .hack//sign and read .hack//twilight to fully understand the G.U game and read up and watch .hack//roots that is the background of the game so thats pretty much all u have to do to get the game

GU is an abomination of "The World". Even Aura left, for she did not like what it had become. The storyline is cool, but "The World" without Aura is a soulless puppet. "The World" is nothing without Aura!

Aura didn't leave by choice, she was effectively killed, when Harald's blackbox folder, containing The World's core data, including her, was destroyed in the CC Corp fire.

R:2 was created later by merging what was left of the playable data with that of another game in its development stage.

I do agree that without Aura, The World is a sad place....

well you never know what can happen in vol 2 or 3
