It's expected from a fanboy who loves something with a crappy ending that the manga beat over 10 fold. As for GITS, thought it was great in my POV and has it's funny moments. Motoko can be such a pedophile.
For me, it's any 4kids "remake" that belittles any original to a laughing stock and Gundam SEED Destiny for it's ridicules the inner UC soul in me with it's ugly plotline, character devolpment that also do not do it justice, and massive amounts of f*cking recaps that cuts it's life short.

Some that I never really liked would be: Beyblade, Yu-gi-oh, and the third+ seasons of Digimon. Pokemon (other than the first season XD ) was pretty bad too. Oh yeah, Shaman King I thought was pretty bad as well...

I have watched it with one of my friends and we both thought that it was just stupid!!!
I mean... c'mon can you really enjoy this pink haired girl saying nothing but "Nyuuuu"

Ugh, you're only gripe is that a way of demonstrating innocence and displaying a change in charater could be seen as a little weird. It is very clever in what it does and how it does it. When you can think of a better way to show innocence and a damn good and obvious change in character, then start using it as an excuse. The idea is to demonstrate two sides of the same coin, a split personality in which she is everything that is good, and lucy everything that is bad. They are both opposites in the same body. The whole one word thing also makes her hard to understand, both verbally and with what is going on in her mind, which allows you to like her more because she acts in what could be described as a 'cute' way with still a hint of mystery. Mentally in her Nyu state she is like a child, once more defining innocence.
Besides, She:Ultimate Weapon is the worst. By far. If you were going to mash your head against a wall and try to find purpose to it. Buy that and watch it. Yes, it sounds good, but then again, wouldn't a very nice car that is about to run you over?

I'm almost tempted to say Evangelion, just for having such a ##### stupid ending, not once, but TWICE. I mean, it was like 21/22 episode sof pwnage, then just retarded. Then they did the movie ending, which was better, but still retarded at the end. The whole everyone will melt down into a soup thing was just completely un ##### necessary.
If something just sucks out right, ok. But if something rock, then its so horrendously bad it taints the whole thing, thats the worst.
And they're doing it AGAIN I believe >_<

Having now watched Trinity Blood, I will say that it was done poorly in comparison to the manga and novels.
However, considering the death of the creator, which was quite unexpected, I'll leave it at that. I've got little hate for it, but it still didn't really work.
Mai-Otome. How does a show go from being so great in one incarnation to being so... mediocre? This half has unnessecary amounts of fanservice, I think. All the political BS, combined with the way the Mai-HiME cast was totally changed up? I didn't enjoy it that much.
However, I will say I liked the original characters, especially Arika and Nina.

I was wondering what everyone thinks the worst anime they've seen is.
For me, I have to go with Big O. Between how weird most of the characters are drawn, to the story that I don't think actually exists, I remember tomatoes. Either that or... Naruto *dodges rocks*
Big O explanation (well, in theory).

Naruto is good but only if you are patient and you watched the uncensored, non dubbed version.
The series actually has reasonably mature topics or just outright pervert lol references.
Also as for no story, the manga would suggest otherwise, and I could understand the main plot thread being
Naruto saving Sasuke and defeating the Akatsuki or whatever.
Its just that it became horribly commericalised due to its popularity.
In regards to its fillers, I gave up after the Curry of Life filler and I am now watching Shippuden which is highly enjoyable.
Same with Bleach as well.
I can't say I really hate any anime, each one is targeted at certain age groups, although digimon, pokemon, dragged on and the newest games are so cash-in its lame.
Also airblade, beyblade are too much about cool music, minimialistic plot.
I liked Gundam Seed Destiny, as I could appreciate the political, story aspect as well as the crazy shooting frenzy, but meh I've always like Gundam series.
I can only say I was disappointed in anime movies like Blood (far too short) and possibly GITS only because the story is very slow moving and you need to watch it a few types to understand it.

This makes me look like a hypocrite but I have to say Fruits Basket. On a favorite anime list, it would be on mine, but I'm also listing it here. For the cute, comedic value I love the anime. And of the story that they did, I thought they did it reasonably well. However, with the story, in comparison to the manga, it's sad. Not to mention they changed Akito rather substantially...from a woman to a man. There were also a couple characters that never even showed up. If it followed the manga more I would have liked the story more, but its more kept as an occassional good laugh.

So, a deep plot with political and military terms makes you bored? Go watch the original movie. If Matoko ripping open a tank with her bare hands doesn't make you like it, nothing will. GITS is superb, moreso with SAC which is just a fun show to watch.
Ya, Ghost in the Shell was SWEET (especially the part when she totally owned that huge tank thingy bare-handed) Only watched one episode of the series though.
Worst ever... Hmmm, anything with a Street and a Fighter in it. Basically, anything based off a 2D fighting game. Too many characters get left out, and all show up for a stupid cameo anyway.
Also, Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hakasho (if I spelled it right), Pokemon (anything after the first season), Anything Gundam AFTER Gundam Wing (and other GW movies are cool too) get honorable mention

I've come across some anime that I've absolutely hated... but to be fair I'll say one I hated that I actually watched all the way through and actually own it (what a mistake that was) and that would be Comic Party. First off I didn't care about the whole story but when they add in overly annoying characters that don't need to be in the series then forget it. I can't be bothered to remember anything about the series, I don't want to remember. The only thing good about the entire thing was it only cost me $5 for the entire thing... and it provides a good coaster for my drinks now.

DBZ, Naruto, One Piece, Inuyasha (I was good for awhile but now it annoys me), and of course CardCaptors. I love Cardcaptor Sakura but the American version was so horrible. I did like the dub for Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2: The Sealed Card. That's the way it should have been.

The censorship in America and the network CCS being aired on lead to that product called Cardcaptors. I won't include the anime itself as one of the worst anime. I would call the company that put that product out on the market the worst. American dubbing companies have done much better job since then. Back when Cardcaptors was released, anime wasn't released all that often in America yet.
American version was called Cardcaptors. They dropped Sakura from the title since I believe the series was going to be directed a young male audience. You know that's a problem since CCS is a shojo anime. In short, they were aiming the wrong series at the wrong audience. It failed since I don't believe the series ever finished on TV.

The worst one out there definitely Cardcaptors (English Dubbed) as nearly 1/3 of the series has been cut and that the voice acting for Tomoyo(Madison) is absolutely terrible, not only does she older than her age, but also her angelic voice is gone and that Kero's voice sounds scratchy. As for Sakura, her voice sounds older than her age, and that they were cutting nearly 1/3 of the show, because they were trying to make it a guys show as well, although that it is probably the utmost girly show ever made!

I am quite angered to even a slight comparison between Pokemon and Gundam Seed Destiny which is totally not in league with one another. It's the same as if I would say that Tetris pinball is worse then Starcraft (which I love, I am saying this as example). Although I'm not sure how GSD could be among worse anime from all the ones out there but whatever...

Well I could only watch a handful of Naruto episodes myself. The art seemed generic and I couldn't stand the voice acting. Kakashi's was decent, but Naruto's was about as bad as it gets. It didn't hold my interest for very long, just the same absurd ninja crap. If the story was stronger I may have liked it a little better.
One Piece, I miraculously watched quite a bit of until I realized, "Wait. It's...not getting better." The episodes were horrid and very DBZ, having to go through several episodes when faced with another forgettable 'boss fight'. Again, the characters were all pretty annoying. I forgot the name of the blonde haired guy, but that was the most stereotypical voice I've heard since "Me love you long time."
I may be biased since I prefer anime's that seem to have a finish. I'm not a fan of anime's that go on for hundreds of episodes. I have much more appreciation for the kind that go for like the 25 or 30ish episode mark and finish. Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Evangelion, Gungrave, Trigun to name just a few. When the episodes start getting up there in number without any sign of things finishing up, it irritates me. Investing like, a year in a half of my life with watching episodes from one anime is not my idea of fun.
