When you buy a game or recieve a game that you've been waiting for a rather long time, what is your reaction? Do you just rip through the plastic as fast as possible? Or are you more civilized, opening the game with care, but at a quick pace?
For me, I'd have to go with the latter, I wouldn't want to be damaging the case now, would I? I get this weird feeling when I get the game I've been waiting for. It's a "now that I have this game, what do I have to look foward to?" sort of feeling. But hey, they are always developing new games, I'm sure there will be a lot more different games to look foward to.

I impatiently try to find that blasted spot where you're supposed to open up the plastic properly, and waste a short amount of time cursing the package 'cause I can't find it (or it doesn't open easily). I like my covers to look shiny new, so I don't go ripping through the package as not to accidently damage the cover. That would just annoy me.

I stare at the case. I curse whoever came up with those stupid plastic covers. Then i try and find the little metallic coloured thing that you pull so that you open it easily and then get pissed off when it doesnt help at all. Then i carefully pick a pen and puncture the side of the case where you open it at. I take off the plastic, curse whoever came up with the stupid plastic covers again, open the case, smell the insides, grab the manual, smell it, and then proceed to skim through it even though it doesnt really matter as manuals are basically two sheets of paper these days.
Then I carefully push the thing in the middle of the disc in the case and take out the disc while putting my index finger in the hole and my thumb and middle finger on the sides, then i say to myself "Its time" and pop it in.
Last time i did this was with Xenosaga Episode 3.

I'm always careful with my games so I try not to ruin the cover or anything just to save a few seconds. The last time I ripped through a package like a hungry lion was when I bought headphones for my MP3 player, which I forgot to bring with me on a very loooong trip a few months ago. So I bought new ones and literraly tore up the package in like a second.

Lol, "it's time," now that's funny. Do your games sometimes come in an extra hard plastic cover? Like some sort of extra shield? Those things can be annoying.

We are all hungry lions when we get what we want/need.

Waiting for games from ebay is really hard you want to play them so badly but the postal service is sooo slow and it takes weeks sometimes to deliver a game from the uk to belgium. But when I got the game in my hands I put it as fast as I can in my console and start playing if for at least a few hours

For all that plastic wrapping and security tape I have but one word: Ka-Bar. Two precise slices (or four, because some times the feel like putting three strips of security tape on a case. Sheer madness

) from this pinnacle of combat-knife technology, so as not to damage the casing or product itself, and from there it's a simple act of peeling the remains off and enjoying the small piece of pure audiographical happiness.

Myself, I grab my lucky pocket knife, and stab the empty space on the side of the box, where you put your fingers in to open the box, then rip off the plastic, done and done. the sticky thing at the top learns to get the ##### off my video game box when Perro, my pocket knife comes around

Well, since most of my games come from Amazon (I'm workng on those games that are hard to find at my local stores...) I don't get them for a wile...Like my copy of Xenosaga Ep1..I didn't get that till 6 months after I ordered it...So I'm like Xerno when it comes to opening games...It takes me a while to find where the plastic opens, and then I try and be careful not to damage the cover in any way...and I check to make sure the disk is actually in it too...Sometimes it's not in the case...

I take care in opening my games. XD
It bugs me when I damage the case and it's the one thing that'll haunt me unti I fix it. I usually take very good care of my games, anyhow. So, because I see the case more than the game, I demand that it's appearance if up to par! Haha.
I think I, once, hastily opened a game, but it was a Gameboy one and I don't put the cartidges back in there, anyway. But it's still in top condition, put away nicely. 8]

I dont do any of those stuff when I buy games here because there are no plastic wrap or whatnot its just as case going to be handed you with the game inside. <_____< Soooo whenever I get a new game I just simply open the case like so and pop the disc in. ^____^;;
