Do any of you like DDR? Do you like to play at an arcade, or at home with a dance pad or controller?
Personally, I like doing it at arcades better. Anyone agree with me? It draws a lot of crowds and other players which makes it more fun!

I myself have never played DDR and I have no intentions too...It's not that it's a bad game or anything, I'm just not one for dancing, even if it's nothing like dancing...But I've seen my cousin play it at her cousins house with a friend (...) and they used a dance pad, not a controller. It didn't look too bad, but like I said, it's just not my type of thing.

I like playin' it in the arcade, but I don't anymore for two reasons- One, I look horribly retarded. Two, I don't have money to be playin' that thing.
The fun thing about the controller is playin' on high speeds and whatnot.
I used to be able to play on 3x heavy mode reverse, but I haven't played that game in so long, I'd be suprised if I got through End of the Century or Paranoia or somethin' on light mode. xD

I have every DDR game for the PS2. and a metal dance pad, but my mother uses it wayyyyy more then I do.
I like it, got nothing better to do. and I prefer home, because I don't waste money, since my mother bought it all for herself.

You just want attention.
Anyway, I like the game for its groovy music, but haven't played much myself. I know my gf has the game and pad, so we might try it out this week.

I don't want attention for myself! I'm really just a shy person most of the time. I just like playing with other people better. It's more of a social thing. I don't know, it's an icebreaker if you know what I mean.
Besides, I like the atmosphere at arcades and stuff more.

I remember I bought 2-3 CDs of DDR (version wise), a carpet for my old PSX and all that.
But ended up playing the game with joysticks. lmao
Only my sister did use it. =p

I haven't played it for a lot time because my sister, whom I play it with, injured her foot during her taekwondo. >.> I've been wanting to play it though.
Dance pad, though it's plastic and slids all over and requires us to tape it to the floor.

DDR is like *the* asian game to play. Some white kid will be good at it, but there'll always be some asian pro who can kick the ##### out of the white kid at DDR. And it's only the painful truth. 8P
Me and my cousins used to play on their pad whenever I'd go to their house. The thing that bugged me the most was how krzee the music was. D8 I felt like going to some rave or going to my super-asian cousin's house. It was terrible.

I would never do that kind of thing... playing DDR seems too weird, plus I don't like dancing that way. I mean, its not really dancing...
Whenever I pass the arcade I see one or two people playing it and I just shake my head and call it stupid. It's just my opinion, plus I'm a princess, I'm too stuck up to play those ha, ha.

For those not playing for fear of looking like an idiot, your missing out on all of the fun. Don't worry how everyone sees you. Have fun and lose yourself!

I used to play it quite a bit a few years back, but it kind of lost its novelty. I was never to good at it, I only really played on light and a little standard, but I just got bored of it and really haven't played for a few years. Guitar Hero kinda took over.

for me it's the other way around. Easy for GH2 and hard on DDR.
