I just finished watching anime .hack//roots (wich has 26 episodes)

I like the anime, it has cleared many things that I've been wondering about
I'm only sad that Aura wasn't there

And I don't quite understand some parts of it and the most thing I don't understand is the ending.. I thought that
Haseo will defeat Tri-ege and that Shino will come back

Did anyone here watch it? What's your opinion about the anime?

I only wathed a few episodes of it here and there. As for the whole Tri-edge thing, it will be cleared up in the second game I think.
I think I'll have to re watch it again from the beginning some day before I decide to start playing the game. It seemed interesting, but so far it didn't quite have that special feeling that .hack//sign gave me.

I know what you mean.. it just isn't the same as .hack//sign
but the ending of .hack//roots is totally confusing @.@

What about the ending was confusing? (I can't remember if I watched it or not.)

Well.. after tri-ege has beaten Haseo in his so called 3th form
he returned to his 1st form and was in the area in wich Shino and Ovan meet
(it's full of waterfalls) and there are a few of Haseo's memories shown
and that is how it ends

Well I guess that's because the anime was only a setup for the game .hack//G.U. so to find out the rest of the story you'll have to play the game I suppose.
There are some inteersting things about Triedge (Azure Kite) revealed in the second game. If you plan on playing the games then I suggest you try to stay away from spoilers.

I'm planing on playing the games and that's my big wish
but I know that it's not coming to Europe so I don't know how to get it

true gu doesnt have the same effect as sign. Though alot of things start to fall into place once you get to half the episodes. Also there is a very specific reason why that happens to haseo, also why that beast appears ontop of him in the last episode in arch kaen waterfall
