I keep hearing random stuff about Sega getting sued or something. Did something happen or is this just a rumor? Thanks!

Ermm... not latley... Some singer had tried to sue Sega for apparently using her likeness in a game but it was concluded back in september that it was not the case and in the end Sega won and the female singer is forced to pay $600,000 to sega for their court fees.

What happened to Sega is that they're #### who screwed their customers for 2 generations of consoles, ducked out and are now stuck making so so software titles for various systems.

Unless there's something else that's happened with them lately.

For some reason I get like half a page of the letter that was sent to them and that's all from that link, Bomb.

I'm curious to know what the whole situation is but I can't figure it out except that there's a mention of sonic gives advice on rape or something in the letter that was sent to them.

Anyway they should have kept on with what they were doing. I highly doubt Sega would have wasted their time... They were just sending a threatening legal notice. I've seen a few of those in my time dealing with our business and they usually don't mean anything.

They did and are. Nothing's been removed. Only MORE Sega stuff has been added in retaliation.

It's all very childish on Sega's part... have you seen the 'offending' webpages... they are actually quite funny in a really immature way. Most of the Sonic material comes from a soundclip taken from the old Sonic cartoon where at the end Sonic would teach you about dyslexia, or talking to strangers... one week Sonic talked about being molested... anyway people have just messed around with that audio to make what sonic said sound dirty... As I said the whole thing is childish and Sega sueing them over it has just brought more attention to ytmnd and also caused people to post even worse webpages. I don't know how much of a case Sega has, but ytmnd doesn't seem to be too worried about it either way.
