Yes yes, I realize that I only named three characters. Well, that's all the poll let me, so I went with the most common. So suggest more.

Personally, I say Zabuza was the most badass that I had seen. But again, I am quite limited.

But first, so none of you go around giving people who AREN'T badass the title, let's lay down some guidelines.

To be badassed, you must be:

A. A good fighter
B. Freakin Amazing
C. Look like you could kill someone
D. Not a pussy

D is the most important one. So if you choose like...I dunno....some retarded dude from like...Dragon Ballz or something.

I voted for Zabuza hands down. Because... I LOATHE Seshomaru (or however you spell his stupid name) with a passion. He doesn't look bad-ass at all. With all that long hair and that weird furry thing, he looks like a pussy. Bleh. (But its all a matter of personal taste, because I'm not a fan of Inuyasha in the least) Anyway. Yeah, so Zabuza hands down. I do like Roy a lot, but I only gave him a three, because as cool as he is, Envy (yes miniskirt and all) was more bad-ass, because he was all of the above ABCD. Even with a mini-skirt, he had that creepy smile of his. But Armstrong was pretty bad-ass too.

Personally, though... Deidara is my favorite bad-ass. ^^ (Although Hidan is freakishly awesome too--probably MORE of a bad-ass then Deidara)

I love Full Metal Alchemist and Roy was a cool character but he didn't really give off much of a bad-ass vibe...

But he is the only one on there I reconise... I think Kenpachi (bleach) should be on there for being so amazingly Cliche bad-ass... I mean he thought and defeated someone even though he couldn't see, hear or smell them... what a dude...

This pole fails and Zabuza and the whole arc he is in is far to popular for an overly drawn out fight that had next to nothing happen in it.

Want to add another fave. The most badass couple, is Sousuke Sagara and Kaname Chidori. If they unite, you'd lose to them in a funny way, guaranteed. lol

Oh please. I thought the title of this Thread was "The Most Bad=Ass Character Ever? Pfftt. None of the above. Where's Grave [Gungrave], Gatsu/Guts [Berserk], Itachi [Would floss his freakin' teeth with Zabuza], Akabane [Getbackers], Alucard [Hellsing] D [Vampire Hunter D], Ray [Gun X Sword], Kyo [Samurai Deeper Kyo], and these guys from stuff that's been released over here. None of those three even compare. And if I had to vote, which I did, Sesshomaru would murder both those guys without that placid look of his twitching an inch.

Kenpachi is fun and should win just for his fight with the blind guy. Though some of the others are awesome in their own right.

How ever I did not explain how annoying Zabuza and people who like him are, and that girly man(/Arnie). he appears he does nothing and get our smarted by Naruto of all people, he then fails to get him self killed so he can appear again then fail to achieve any thing other than making Kakashi look week as he does not killing by looking him a little to hard. That and large swords are annoying.

Tough choice, but based on what I've been watching recently, Saber from Fate/Stay Night gets my vote.

There aren't any females in this thread. Plus, Saber's pretty damn powerful. I won't go into detail on why to avoid spoilers for now.

I don't see Suitengu. I am quite saddened. Suitengu is one of the greater badasses. Hell, Speed Grapher is crawling with badasses. xD

Aside from that, I agree about Ray, Fudo, Akabane Kuroudo (and Mido Ban, bwahaha). Even by standards of what shows up on Adult Swim, you are looking at the entirely wrong shows.

I don't know any of these characters you mentioned above, because I haven't seen many animes yet.
Though I agree with asuka about Saber being bad ass. It's because she was brave, and she would engage in a fight even if she is injured or exhausted just to protect Shirou.
And not to mention she is a great fighter.

Saber <333 xPP she just rocks! Maybe throw Saya in there as well from Blood+ only when she's on a rampage though. But if it had to be out of the chosen characters, Zabuza because everyone knows why that arc was so popular but didn't last long.

Goku from Saiyuki is more badass.

Zabuza is kind of a good guy after Haku dies. Sesshomaru is a real sweety toward Rin so I don't really count him as evil so much as angsty. Roy is a teddy bear who hides behind a sadistic way. I guess I'd have to say Zabuza though.

The only fools I know on that list is Zabuza....and I didn't think him especially "bad ass" @_@

Of all the characters I've really experienced though, I'd have to give my own little trophy to Mugen from Samurai Champloo. Considering my idea of "bad-ass" doesn't come across much since I don't watch as much shounen as the average anime-joe, but I think Mugen is definitely bad ass from what I've seen of him. 8D Sexyy sexyy.

None of the upbove. I find "Johan" in "Monster" is a better badass then anyone on the list.

Even though Point A. "a good fighter" doesn't suit him, but eh doesn't need to fight at all to achieve homicides and a whole series of humanity deaths.

The other 3 point perfectly suited him well. Especially point D. "Not a pussy", he asked Nina/Anna and Doctor Tenma to shoot him in the head twice.

Johan was a much more human character with a level of depth the whole "bad ass" Archetype.

After watching all 75 eps and the Movie Special of Fighting Spirit, I must now nominate Ippo Makunouchi and Takamura for all the bad ass goodness, because both fighters are truly bad ass. =D 'specially Takamura he beat a big ass bear with just his fists.

The most bad ass character ever was Haseo from .hack//roots and the only reason was because he is supposed to be good but he acts like a child and he is so mean to everyone he meets

Then again... there is itachi uchiha who went psycho and murdered everyone in his clan just for fun... (damn maniacs these days!)
