im playing dot hack//G.U vol. 1 right now and all i want to know is, are the characters from the old dot hack games going to be in the new ones? i know they might not have the same character data, but are they at least going to make an appearance?

Apparently some are, though some are speculating that endrance is indeed a character from the previous games but its not sure if he is or not.

yeah, well If you converge certain game data from previous .hack// you get emails from certain characters, but I think they will in the future, hm...well it is seven years after so maybe not :/

You can transfer data from the old .hack games to hack//G.U vol. 1?

I think it's not that simple as it was before
example:in .hack//games from infection to quarantine the chara mistral
her data has been copyed and pasted on her daughter in real life mireille
witch is in .hack//DUST the anime

So I think there will not be such data but I'm sure that some charas
from games before will apear in .hack//g.u. but not with the same apereance
another reason for that is that in.hack//g.u. there are not the same clases so it is
imposible..
