*Massive Episode III spoilers*
So, the game has you facing off against several major villains one last time. Which of those showdowns did you enjoy? I've got quite a few:
- Virgil: Oh yes; the setting, the scenes prior to the battle, and the Testament music... the whole thing was one of those moments that I just needed to have a separate save of. And while the battle is actually pointless (storywise), it doesn't feel like you're fighting for nothing (which is pretty much the case with all the Testament battles, since regular battling is no good against them). But they handled that issue quite well. It's more of a "can-you-last-long-enough" kind of battle, waiting for Febronia to pop up (at least, that's how I see it).
- Yuriev: Another one with interesting dialogue prior to battle, and a setting with a familiar Xenogears feel to it. The battle itself is quite nice, with both an on-foot and ES fight. The final scenes after the battle are good too, but Yuriev didn't have any cool last words ("wha~what?"). Where's the good stuff like the Patriarch's "I'm all poooweeer~!"? But again, it's kind of a pointless battle as Albedo needs to bring an end to it afterwards.
- Voyager: Having read the Pied Piper script, a final showdown in that cathedral is everything I could hope for. Probably one of the best, but my favorite is yet to come...
- Margulis: This is my favorite; no super-powered being, but a regular human with mad skills. His story and final motivation was really outstanding imo; standing strong to fight, ignoring all the betrayal and mind-games that had been played all around him. "One final battle", as he says. And it's a great one, I find this ES fight to be fairly hard and the music was also well done.
- Wilhelm: Oh, wait... no showdown with him... *disappointed* =P

WTF are you doing back here Perno, get the off from mah superweb network deluxe!!!!!
SPOILERS DUDES
Uh Voyager man. Why? ##### I dont know, I just felt he was a badass villain because he really had no motivation to be bad, he just sort of is. Voyager is mean just for the hell of it, he became a Testament just to be meaner and more powerful. He is not loyal to anyone, he is pretty much a classic villain, he gets destroyed by his own greed and ambition and he has the most weird coolest looking gear ever made, that thing looks like a flying saucer not a super robot. His attacks are pretty flashy and entertaining and you feel good when you beat him, like you accomplished something not in regards of your own gain or to save the universe but because he needed to get his ass kicked.
And yes Ferno, I also thought it was pretty lame to not be able to battle Whilhelm, i mean with his whole stupid "I knew thats what you were gonna do so thats why i did this and i am incredibly prepared for your next move, What? my arm? AHAHAHAHAHA this is just Tuesday for me" crap he was just asking to be erde kaisered to hell.

Spoilers Ahoy!
"I knew you were going to stab me... it's all part of my plan"... <.< LAME! >.<
The Virgil fight was brilliant! It was really hard (I think it was the first battle I outright lost) and at the time your not sure what the hell is going on (Are you really in the past) and there are all these emotions. Everything is going on and then you see past Virgil kill himself. I personally was feeling quite sorry for Past Virgil, that was until your forced to fight current sadistic Virgil. I just think it's great.
I need to play through the game again to answer the rest of this... but I was quite disappointed with the first Pelligri fight... it was great to fight her on foot but I dunno... not very epic...
More later from me...

of course spoilers...
The whole Abel's Ark Yuriev fights were amazing, when he turned the omega whatchamacallit into Deus, I was like HOLY ####! so that was pretty cool, but it took so long for me that I never got back to fighting it again (although I have a save of that fight)
Voyager was just awesome, the first time you fight him...as well as the other time you fight him, if Ziggy's gear didnt suck so bad I would have used Ziggy in that gear fight.
Virgil was never that cool of a character to me, but his fight was still awesome, that thingy coming out of his back and all that stuff
I think a Wilhelm fight may have been cool, but only if he had some super awesome second form (which he would have, seeing as he would have been the final boss, or at least one of them) I just didnt think that Zarathustra was anything too cool.

Yah, Pellegri didn't quite do it for me. Not the second fight either, there's something off with her attitude in Episode III. Though I did like the final scene where she goes down ("I'm tired..."), but the battle itself was missing that little extra to make it an outstanding one.

I'm.. pretty much in total agreement. Though..
T-elos - The last fight against her, while not especially difficult thanks to Ziggy and Shion's crazy breaking skills against human types, was awesome story wise. Plus, Kos-Mos owns her afterwards with her cleavage laser. Fear the power of android breasteses.

Fear the spoilers...for they will consume you.
Voyager didn't seem all that great to me, then again.. I didn't read the pied piper thing. But Still, the fight was cool.
Even though Margulis was a puppet/toy, the final fight with him was cool...Mostly because of the battle music.
But other than that, I agree w/ Xerno as well.. (I'm a puppet!)

Margulis's show down was impressive. I really didn't want to get rid of him in the end after he was ejected out of Ormus.
Voyager - Simply an amazing villain. Even after what he did in Pied Piper hundreds of years ago, he's still an evil testament who instead of developing guilt (like the rest) ends up aiming to acquire all the power for himself.
Showdown with Kevin - This scene really got me boiling. For one, Shion just pissed me off. And when she dumps Kevin, the way he reacted - going ballistic and transforming into a red knight with armour et al. I even lost in that battle until I started changing my tactics (no special techniques, just regular attacks and boost).
T-elos, Virgil, Yuriev were great as well.

*Pied Piper spoilers*
That Cathedral was the place where Voyager killed Ziggy's love and stepson in front of his eyes. The scene prior to the battle is much eerier if you know this, especially when Voyager points out again how he killed his son. It just made me want to finish him off at long last. Le moment suprême! >=D
