According to last information of the Net, Namco should announce the next week new Tales of Phantasia 2 on Nintendo DS carried out in 2d (which will be presented next Monday), a remake of Tales of the Abyss on Wii (shorter times of loading, more events, etc.) envisaged for May in Japan, and Tales of the Harmony on Wii, one following Tales of the Abyss, the history begins 10 minutes after the end of the first episode.

Just a rumor at the moment.

A possible ToP2 on DS. A possible remake of TotA on the Wii. ToH on the Wii.

I doubt TotA on the Wii, but you never know. ToS was put on PS2 after demand. TotA might be put on the Wii, because of demand, too.

Anymore news regarding this? I can't find anything online.

Not to my knowledge. After all, all of those were just rumors. The only recent Tales news I've seen would be the announcement of Tales of Fandom Vol. 2, but that's for a Sony console, not a Nintendo console. Other than that small bit of Tales news, I heard of nothing new about Tales series involving Nintendo recently.

That would be sweet if it does come out for the DS, I have a gamecube, so the only Tales game i played was Tales of Symphonia, but i absolutely loved it, and im getting a DS next week, so i hope this rumor goes into action soon ! XD

A ToP2 for DS sounds really interesting. :) I'd deff'ly be interested in that since I actually have a DS and could probably afford to buy the game. But everything else sounds really interesting too, it's just a shame that I don't have a Wii. :\

I'm up for any new Tales games :P I don't have a DS or Wii, but I plan on getting them, so I hope these rumors actually turn out to be more than rumors...It'll give me some games to look forward to.

I really love how the sequel of ToTA would actually start 10min after the ending of the original game. o_o;; I mean ToD2 had a few years in between, and ToS-ToP had like what thousand years of gap, but damn 10min. this could turn out awesome.
Athrun
Seems strange that a direct sequel (10 minutes? o.o') to a PS2 game will continue on Wii. It kind of sounds like someone made this up, but you never know.

Oh so now they decide to release TotA on the Wii now. Figures >_>. Although still good news... if this becomes true that is. I hope they do a good job on the DS game though. I've always found the battle system in 2D tales games hard and fast paced to be able keep up.

Exactly. I title seem reasonable, but if that game a direct sequel of Abyss, then I highly doubt since there's nothing to continue at the end of the Abyss. If you finished the game, which I assume you did, Sonic, I'm sure you would agree. Still, about two weeks have pasted since the rumor was posted. So, it's looking like nothing more than a rumor. The only recent Tales news would be "Tales of Fandom Volume:2".

I highly doubt the port of Abyss to Wii from the start. I won't have doubt a Tales game coming to the Wii if they didn't say it would take 10 minutes after Abyss. I'm hoping a Tales game does find it's way on the Wii since that console will be the console I'll own in the near future.

Too bad you can't play ToD remake. I have that game and it's awesome. It just pisses me off I can't understand the plot. RPG can have a fun plot, but being completely lost due to not understanding the language they're speaking isn't cool.

Lmao! Seriously you and me know ##### like this happen all that time man.
Anyhow, this was actually leaked from um, that france site. So, I dunno. They're usaully right.
I haven't passed ToTA yet. So I can't comment on the 10 min thing. But we'll see. I'm sure the Tales team has something more in store than that other game.

Eva, lol never say never.
Tales of Phantasia was ported to the PSX from the SNES. Stranger things can happen.

VTL.

All of this sounds like good news, whether or not they're true. xP I'd have to borrow my brother's DS and Wii for these, but it's not like I haven't done that, before!

10 minutes after the ending? XDD Geez...

ToD2j says hi. =) If you played the localized ToD you would also know that the same can be applied here. Honestly I dont care if Abyss gets a sequel, I dont like the game. BEST TALES EVARRRR MY ASS! xD The sarcasm detector must be broken for you people. >__>

If ever they were to make a sequel 10min after the first one, they would most likely have another villain along the same likes of Van but only try to bring people back to be slaves of the score or an Ion replica that for some reason escaped his supposed disposal since Florian was picked to follow Ion. Then he would be so full of resentment and anger towards the world for the things he experienced blah blah blah and for some reason despite that guy being a failure he would be so strong just like Sync or even stronger. But whatever, I'm pretty sure the guys at Namco can pull something from their butt if they really want to go through with this sequel.

LoL, Do you need to add the "j"? Seriously though, in Destiny 2 case, there's a large gap between that game and the ending of Destiny 1. Whether or not Destiny had closure doesn't matter since you can start a completely different storyline down the road. Still, can't talk much on the subject since I haven't got that far in either game. Point being the gap between the games were years, while the rumor state there's 10 minute gap between Abyss and the sequel.

They could, but I would find it quite ridiculous. Though, I'll likely play it since it's a Tales game. I'm fine with Abyss and how it ended. What Namco could do would be localize three games of the series that should have been brought here a long time ago.
