The creator expressed his desire to do a remake of Wild Arms 2, but they've been busy working on Wild Arms 5, as well as a wild arms game for the PSP.
Its never been confirmed that it would ever be made, and most likely won't.

I want it to though. :/

Despite a lot of people hating or not being pleased with the remake of one, I was quite happy, so I can see them doing another good job remaking WA2. Plus, it's not like they add characters and they'll just be there like Zed, Jane and Emma turned out to be at the end of WA: Alter Code: F. I won't mind seeing the old cast back in action. If they wanted to make a edit, I wouldn't be opposed to Vinsfeld being the final villain. We all remember who the final villain would be in the original. I hope they improve the ending battle at the least since I wasn't happy with it.

I'd go insane. I still from this day consider Wild Arms 2 to be one of my favorite games in the series. I don't mind the whole 3D thing, but man.. The first title that was remade was pure ass in my opinion. Music and towns. Man I was so sadden it wasn't funny. The thing is though... i don't think Media. Vision will do it even though they said that wanted to. I think the Wild Arms series is jus' there. And won't go beyond what is. (Same with Suikoden.)

But i'm so looking forward to Wild Arms 5. Hehe.

I've seen some Wild Arms: Alter Code F videos and correct me if i'm wrong but Wild Arms: ACF didn't get the characters voiced, huh? I was disappointed and wondering if it's really worth the money to buy it.

If Media Vision really wanna remake Wild Arms 2nd Ignition, then i hope they find some really good voice acters for the characters. I want to see them talking, not reading some texts.

Plus, i've seen the opening movie for Wild Arms: The Vth Vanguard and again i was disappointed. There was no anime intro like the previous Wild Arms series. However they maintain the HEX battle system from Wild Arms: The 4th Detonator.

The creator did express his wish for the remake of Wild Arms 2nd ignition and I would definitely want to see it done. But they should give a little more effort in making a new remake then the Alter Code F, put voice acting maybe? And I hope that they won't change the battle system or skills if they make a remake.
Some people brag about the remake of the first game but I liked it. They could have done a better job of course but I liked it overall. To each his own, yeah...

If they DO make a remake, they should really make it up and above from what other RPGs are, because Wild Arms hasn't made a big splash in a while, especially since WA5 just came out and I've heard it's only half-decent.

Final Battle of WA:2 was awesome, they made the ending into a battle. It also had a very awesome battle theme.
