Owning to the amount of voice acting, the developers refer to this game as a voice adventure. Other games featured on Tales of Fandom Vol.2 have yet to be revealed. That being said, Tales Studio already has released the following list of characters set to appear in the game:

From Tales of Phantasia: Cless, Mint, Arche, Chester, Klarth, and Suzu
From Tales of Symphonia: Lloyd, Collet, Genuis, Refill, Kratos, Zelos, Shihna, Presea, and Regal
From Tales of the Abyss: Luke, Tear, Guy, Jade, Anise, and Natalia

Tales of Fandom Vol.2 will be available in Japan sometime this summer.

Man, I know this won't be coming to U.S., but I want it badly. I'm sure characters from the Destiny series will make an appearance. I bet Tales of Eternia characters will be there, too. Legendia, too. I'll be surprised if we get the game in the U.S. I might import it, but it's not like I know what they're saying.

Was vol.1 ever released in the US back in the day? I find it highly unlikely though that they'll localize this. Btw whatever happened to the new Tales story? I certainly hope this wasn't it or the ToD2 PSP.

I saw a little info on Vol. 1 a while back, but I never paid it any mind. @_@
SO this is just another Tales game with a bunch of crossovers in your party? Or is it like Tales of the World where you just get to see the characters around, but you still play as a new character?

I don't think Vol. 1 was ever released in the US, so I'm not expecting this one to come over, either.

To my knowledge, no. The first Tales of Fandom was released on PS. Just found a copy of it on eBay.

I only heard a rumor recently dealing with Tales series on Nintendo, but nothing come of it yet. For a brand new game, I heard of Tales of Harmony, a sequel to Abyss, for the Wii. Of course, that's just a rumor and nothing come of it. I won't put much stock into this either since I have no clue what's left to tell dealing with Abyss.

I don't believe that's the case. I never looked in the first one much, but I believe it's a "voice adventure" as they article put it. I doubt it's a game like Tales of the World, but I could be wrong.

Well, this certainly piques my interest, but I've never even heard of the first volume of this...So I doubt it was even released in the US...But if this is released in the US I definitely will probably pick it up.

His name seems to be something like "Claus F Lester". Looks like he is from Tales of Destiny.
But since Raine is named Rifill in the japanese version, his name might be different in English as well.

He's Tales of Phantasia, as Sonic said in his last post.

Oddly, no Destiny 1 or 2, Legendia, Eternia or Rebirth characters have been confirmed yet. I thought Destiny characters would have been confirmed already. They should be in it when more info released. I might import the disc, if a translation script released.

I'm more inclined to believe that either majority, if not all, of the characters in this game are Fujishima's creations. Hopefully future scans would somehow shed some light if there is a chance that characters by Inomata would ever make an appearance.

I hope not. Nothing against his design, but I just want to see more Tales characters in Tales of Fandom. Who doesn't want to see Veigue? What girl doesn't want to see Mao acting all cute and innocent? I'll be slightly disappointed if Rebirth characters don't make an appearance in Tales of Fandom. Though, from what you're saying, most of the artwork currently released by Fujishima while the other games artwork were done by who(m) exactly or did Inomata the rest? I wish I had site to look up specific artist for a specific game.

IIRC the only other designer besides Inomata and Fujishima would be ToL's designer, I think his name was Kawazu or something. Although I do agree with you that I think it would be great if they also included Inomata's design, although I haven't yet played much of ToR other than the first 2 hrs. but I would love to have me some of Nanaly action. Mmmm.... hopefully I get to play much more ToR in the future after ToD2j and FM5. =)
