So I recently finished watching Tenjho Tenge series and also the OVA Ultimate Fight, which is just episodes 25 and 26 exactly where the series left off. It was surprisingly good because I was expecting more fanservice then actually fights, but it was the exact opposite.

My favorite part throughout the entire series was the flashback about Shin and Mitsuomi. The flashback could have been the beginning of the series if it wanted to be. I was more interested in Shin, Bunshichi, Mitsuomi, and Maya then Nagi, Masataka, Aya, and Bob maybe its because of how much more screen time Shin, Bunshichi, Mitusomi and Maya got with the flashbacks.

The last episode 26 didn't have any "the end" caption and the story is far from being over. So is there going to be a second season since the manga is still ongoing in Japan? Has there been any word if there is a second season because I can't seem to find anything about it. I haven't got around to watching the The Past Chapter where it is basically the flashbacks in movie form.

The anime has been out a long time, no second season, it's just one of those animes that died, nothing to fix it >.> much like with air gear, 26 episodes, and dead.

new manga chapters only come out on a monthly basis, chapter 102 just came out RAW, but it'll be awhile before it is translated. Also, if they did anime it, it'd catch up quickly to the manga.

That sucks that it ended just like that when it started to get really good especially with Nagi's transformation. I guess I have to read the manga to get the complete story.

The story becomes really confusing in Tenjou Tenge. I read a bit further in the manga, and while it has some interesting things, a lot of things just seem... weird. Air Gear also took the turn into a more complex story after the anime ended, but so far it's been really good, and I think it pulls it off much better than Tenjou Tenge did.

Definitely. I'm still quite confused about Tenjou Tenge's plot thing and I'm not even sure I could have thought that what looked like a teenage fighting with a bit of martial artsy and school politics stuff turns out like that. But for the most part, it still links well, though I prefer Air Gear over it a whole lot. I guess the current latest volume I have (medieval Japanese, Aya's ancestor part) is showing the main antagonist's motives and why he's so freaking powerful (not fighting wise).

It's quite a disturbing manga to read too... >.> Half the time, I feel that after reading Tenjou Tenge, I can survive a lot of other disturbing mangas too, and I'm right. >.<

Yeah like poking out the eye of Souchiro, (I saw that in one of the latest chapters.) and rape torturing some girl. And all this about losing eyes and arms and transfering powers and eyes from one person to another is just disturbing some times. But I never really understood the story much to begin with. I don't get what Mitsuomi wants really, or why he changed so much. And Shin's role in the story confused me as well.

Tenjou Tenge has too many fascinating characters, that maybe the writer had a hard time deciding which one should be made the main char, hahaha. I think I already forgotten who is the main char. Almost anyone gets the same story proportion, it's a good thing, but badly made. At least that's MHO.

Actually it should be Souchiro and Aya. But now, it's just confusing. And there are times where they don't even appear in the entire volume once. Mitsuomi, Maya and Shin are the main leads for their timeline in school.

Well... I think to sum it all up simply, it's about the powers of bloodlines descending from this one man who was the most powerful man at one point of time, and the power struggle between them. Especially Souchiro's father.

Have got into the anime then read though the manga not to long ago I must admit to being rather confused by the whole story line my self. It seems like the manga got into the habit of skipping bits of the story and filling you in on what was going on later on. Makes for a rather confusing read, I also don't see why Maya hates Mitsuomi he did not even kill her brother. That and her brother really was more than a little crazy (with a sister complex too), but people all seem to have forgotten that. How ever now the story is back to the school it is make more sense again and Bob should finally be a bit more impressive in his fights. Also need to guess who the third red feather is, I guess the creepy little alien type kid could be it though.

and tenjou tenge is cool and there is talk of a second season to be made late 2007 and a full length feature film.

I kind of know what ur talking about . At the end of episode 26 of tenjou tenge the OVA . I kind of expected that there would be more episodes or a season 2. The story doesn't seem to end but begin. I haven't seen the episode where the jyuken club is suppose to fight mitsuomi in the school fighting competion. I don't even no if maya was expelled or not and if souichiro got stronger than he is now. There are too many ways the story can go .I dont think the story should end at episode 26 i think there should be more episodes. If the creators haven't started it they better start soon because I want to know what happens, my brain is like killing me here of what would happen in the next episodes if there are any. I hope they make more episodes because tenjou tenge is one awesome anime

The story in the Anime ended, but the Manga continues the story.
