When you talk about Kingdom Hearts, Keyblades immediately come to mind. I have not completed my game yet (yes, I'm talking super duper long with it) but I'm curious to know which of these key-shaped swords do you guys prefer? With the exception of the Ultima Weapon because it freaking pwns, that is.

I think I had a fancy for Sleeping Lion. I actually can't remember, since I sold my game off months ago lols. I think I used Bond of Flames too, but I wasn't as concerned with the magic attack so I was probably using Sleeping Lion more and I couldn't be bothered to get Ultima Weapon. @_@

It was nicee though.

Believe it or not, I NEVER paid attention to Keyblades. IF i had to choose one, I think I like:

I adored that Keyblade.

I also liked using Oathkeeper and Oblivion, too.

Riku's Way to Dawn was really ugly, though. I so preferred the Keyblade he had before in KH1.

Which one, in KH1? Riku used two different keyblades in the first game. There was the Soul Eater (which can be seen in the design of The Way To Dawn), and there was some other, nameless one, which he used to "unlock" people's hearts.

Anyway, I guess Sleeping Lion was a favorite of mine as well, with the Combo Plus, or whatever the ability was called. It had some nice attack power, and the additional attack meant a lot to me, so I used it for quite a while.

Otherwise, by the end of the game, I always had the Oathkeeper equipped as my primary weapon (in normal form), simply so I'd be using it for the Form Boost in every form. It's attack wasn't half bad, either.

I only used this one in Master Form, but I like the idea behind the Fatal Crest. It's got the highest magic boost in the game, while it's still got an attack power of 3, which is decent. With the Berserk Charge, you could waste away your magic, which is strengthened by the +5 Magic boost from the keyblade, until your MP runs out. Then, you take advantage of Berserk to endlessly chain together an attack combo, until your MP refills. The end result is rather devastating.

I personally like Oblivion and Oathkeeper and it was cool that they were still in 2 and get to dual wield them. As for Keyblades that appeared in 2 I like Ultima Weapon and Fenrir both equally, Ultima is more of the balanced type and looks all neat while the Fenrir is like this banged up car key that has bandages and mildly better physical damage than Ultima Weapon. =)

Well in any case, this is my favorite Keyblade in the game. It gives off a different sound and creates a "Nobody effect" when it hits. (The same one the first boss in Roxas' dream creates that looks like frozen spider web.) Looks really nice. Like a mix of Oblivion and Oathkeeper.

I prefered the oblivion, seeing as how I haven't gotten the one Sephiroth gives you, or the ultima....

In my experience, I'd have to say I like the Bond of Flame the best, even though it's fairly crappy (I HATE Magic, so it's essentially a 4 ATK Keyblade), just because of what it means to me. Sentimental value out the roof, here.

Normally I use the Fenrir (taped-up car key/chainsaw FTW), since it has 7 ATK, which makes it the best for me... but recently I switched to the Ultima Weapon, since Magic can be good for healing, and you only lose one ATK point when compared to the Fenrir to gain much more magic and a hit to your combo.

This is my current set-up:
Normal: Ultima Weapon
Valor: Oblivion
Wisdom: Bond of Flame
Master: Sleeping Lion
Final: Fenrir

I also used the Sleeping Lion for the longest time, until I got the "special" Keyblades. Love Squall. ^_^ I didn't really use any of the others.

Yeah, Roxas' keyblade is sexy. I also saw the Fenrir blade for hte first time a while ago, and that's definitely on my list as well

I actually don't really like the Fenrir much. It looks interesting/cool, but stat-wise, I'm just not a fan of it. It's only got one higher attack than the Ultima Weapon (and only a +1 Magic boost), but it reduces your ground and air combos by one hit, which, in a sense, weakens your overall attack. (At least the way I see it. Might be the only one who thinks that way, though...) The only way I could see the Fenrir being of much use is if you use those Negative Combo abilities to make your Finishing Hit come quicker (which I still have yet to have found a point to, besides the Trash Cleanup minigame).

Though I do like its appearance, alone. Seems like it might be somewhat based on the First Tsurugi (Cloud's sword in AC; not sure if that name is canon, though), named after Cloud's motorcycle in AC, and it's got the bandages like his sword in the KH games. Nice touch.

Oathkeeper and Photon Debugger, I used that Magic Finisher and alot of Thunder spells. Never really used the Bond of Fire, even though that part of the game was cool.

Oh yes, it was completely intended to be that way. And I don't like any particular blade because of its strength, I like it because of its looks. Thats why I love the Fenrir so much as well as Roxas' keyblade

I like the oblivion keyblade the best because it is a cool keyblade

I would have to say my fav keyblades would be

Ultima blade: it just looks really cool and it is strong

Oblivion: It is a sweet blade to use and it has a cool blue ruby

Either Oathkeeper, Oblivion, Bond of Flame, or Follow the Wind. One of those four, they looked way cool.

My choice is a tie between Oathkeeper and Way to the Dawn. Also, does anyone have a really good image of the Nobody symbol? i've been looking everywhere for one, and i can't find one. If you can help, please do so

Fenrir, is my favorite. You get it when you defeat Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 2. Just awesome.

Anyway, the Roxas' Keyblade looks very sweet. Prolly my favourite. design-wise.

In stat, depends on the form really, can't remember the setups though, but the Keyblade I used most often was the Ultima Weapon.

My favorite Keyblade from KH2 would nave to be the Fenrir. Due to the fact that I think it looks cool and its ability is semi decent. I also think it looks kind of funny at the same time when Sora uses it because it looks kind of big on him.

Stauts wise Fenrir is the stongest so I like it. Ultima Weapon and Oblivion!

Let's see....I like Oblivion, starseeker, oathkeeper, decisive pumpkin, way to dawn, sleeping lion and gullwings. Oh yeah, and I almost forgot Bond of Flame.

Oathkeeper and Oblivion for me.. Just because they're classic.
And I like the little black swirl that follows Oblivion when you strike. =o its all blue and black and entrancing like..

My favorite key blade in Kingdom Hearts II was Fenrir because it had a different resemblance compared to the normal Keyblade and was the hardest key blade to attain. My runner up is the key blade "Guardian Soul" because it was given to me by my favorite Final Fantasy character of all time, Auron.

i like the ultima weapon, oblivion, fenir, and oath keeper.

First off, I've always enjoyed the kingdom key. Sure, it's just a stupid key, but it made the entire game more fun not killing stuff with 1-3 hits. That and I actually like the simplistic key design.

Oathkeeper comes up as my favorite, of all time. Just the way it looks is awesome. In both games it had great abilities, although in the first one I wish the counter speed was a bit faster. The story aspect of the keyblade kind of makes me like it more too...

Both Lion Heart and the Sleeping Lion were awesome keyblades in my opinion. They both had the basic key design to them, nothing too flashy about them, while also being awesome keyblades to use in battle. The LionHeart was the only keyblade you needed the entire game in the first KH. Having +1 to magic, a nice strength to it, while also being in the 4 counter attack speeds was great. In the second one, having a keyblade that had the basic, "Combo Plus" ability was just good to have, while also having a nice strength to it.

Oblivion looked cool, but it bothered me in the first one. In the second one, I'd rather use the Nightmare Before Christmas keyblade only because of the ability, but Oblivion was useful at times...(Coloseum tournaments.)

I think my favourite set would be:

Normal: Oblivion
Brave(?) form: Fenrir
Wise(?) Form: Bond of Flames
Master Form: Follow the Wind
Final Form: Sleeping Lion or Oath Keeper

As for Ultima, I don't really like it (kinda ugly )... I only use it agains Sephiroth and Hades Cup because I'm not stupid!
