BadabingbadaBOOM

That right there is the Secret Ending of Kingdom Hearts 2 : Final Mix. It's got the combined videos from KH Secret Ending and KH+ Secret Ending. And to say the least. WOW.

It doesn't tell us anymore, but we see the faces of all four people who were at the crossroads now (And their surprising resemblance to Kingdom hearts characters), and that Kingdom Hearts is once again opened.

NUTS. go ahead. converse. lol
Athrun
Cool video. One of the knights looks a lot like Roxas. And I'm not sure who that Knight is that's helping the old man, but I think he is a separate character. I think that's the Knight you fight in the game.

Btw, download the video rather than watching it on youtube. Much more enjoyable with better quality.
And it seems the next game won't be called "Kingdom Hearts"
LagunaWannabe
The knight who's helping the man comes directly out of his body, or so it seems. Which strikes me as odd because I've never seen that in Kingdom Hearts.

And right in the middle of hte video, I still keep watching but I can hardly tell what's going on, for a brief moment one of the knights looks like they have long white hair or something, Like Fran's hair, but the middle action moves so fast its hard to see everything, and whos who

Here's a rip of the special ending music.

Couldn't get it to sound perfect when the music goes high pitch, sorry. I'll try again later.

And... Laguna, the version of the movie you posted is without sound effects.
Here's a version with sound effects.

True that thanks man, yeah the video I had was ripped and music was put in, but it would make sense that there's no sound effects.

I'm not sure how to navigate your link tho. The first one is a site I saw you post Marluxia's theme for but Im not sure how to download anything from it, its just like an empty ad screen when i click it
Athrun
The first link, you go to the top right corner and type in the security code (three letterrs)

Then click Download and wait for the timer to count down and a button will appear saying "Download file"

On the second link, see the red arrow?

Just click the link.
LagunaWannabe
gah, so easy. lol thanks
Alazuli
I did not mean to watch this thing, I accidentally spoiled it for myself earlier today, but whatever. XDD (What the heck, mismarked links!)

Much better than before. If this was the ending in the first version of Kingdom Hearts 2, it would've been much more worth the effort of getting rather than the other. (Seriously, it's not worth dealing with the Hades Cup for just that thing! Dx)

That one character did look a lot like Roxas, but didn't Nomura say in an interview that they were all new characters? Pretty weirrrrd!
LagunaWannabe
Nono i don't believe he said all new characters. I think he said Sora, Riku, or Kairi aren't in it.. Please somebody tell me if im right or wrong.

But honest to god, it IS Roxas. When we see him lying down frozen, we can see his hair is pointed, and then i found a pic of Roxas, and like, i counted how many points of hair he had across his forehead and sticking out, and the Frozen Knight has JUST as many. There's a 100% resemblance between them. There's not a single thing fishy between the two of them that even leaves it up for question. It's most definitely Roxas, most likely in some Dream state where nobodys go or something

or some weird afterlife thing
Alazuli
It could possibly be a past life, too. Not only was it mentioned in the game about 'past keyblade wielders', but (I'm going to search for that interview, later) I know Normura mentioned about how the Secret Ending took place in the past.

My money would be on a past-life ordeal over anything else with the Roxas-like character, if anything. When you think about it, Roxas was only one year old in Kingdom Hearts 2.

EDIT: Found the tidbit about the Secret Ending.

QUOTE
Did that scene happen in the future or in the past?
I would at least say it's an episode in the past, but.... Hmm, how should I say this? It's in the past but you can also think it's in the future, something like that.

Who are the 3 armoured people?
Those 3 are completely new people who haven't shown up at all. In fact, I've already thought of their names. Back when I was making that movie, I only had their settings but now I've even drawn their faces to give myself a clearer image of them.

The king, Sora and Riku's keyblades were there, too.
It's to show that those three armoured people aren't them but that doesn't mean they don't have connections. The words "Keyblade War" that showed up in the middle were to implicate that there were fights between Keyblades. Most of the puzzles in the first KH have been solved in KHII but there are many things about the Keyblade that haven't been revealed yet. A line from the previous game's Ansem Report #8 appeared in the movie but that is to say "It means this but it's not explained yet."

This is a little old, from 2006, so some things may be different, but he does say that they are all-new characters.
LagunaWannabe
Well, if it's not TRULY Roxas himself, then it's a form of Roxas that's related to the original games. In this Dream-like world that's caused by Birth by Sleep.

It's possible that Nomura is lying too lol. But he looks EXACTLY like him in every piece of character art. Maybe Roxas has an identical twin? lol
Alazuli
THERE'S a thought! XDD A dream world setting, but how would that come about?

Well, that's always a possibilitly. Wouldn't be the first time Nomura has messed around with his fans. lol
I agree, though. He does look an awful lot like Roxas. It's almost eerie.

One thing I don't get, or maybe a missed it in one of the japanese texts, but I don't think they mentioned anything about the 'Chasers' in this newer version of the Secret Ending. O.o;
LagunaWannabe
No there's been no mention of chasers, but honest to god, I think my theory on the surface sounds more plausible than anything else I've really read yet.

Birth by Sleep is a HUGE factor, it's got its own screen and title in both Secret Endings, and was also a big part of the intro of KH2. In FInal Mix, sleep is always a big driving factor, and there's evidentially a Room of Sleep and a Room of Awakening that Xemnas goes to and is looking for. And in these room, there's the collapsed body of a knight. So I mean, Sleep is usually connected with dreams, or at least some other world.

Like, when Sora sleeps, Roxas either went to some Dream world, or some world where Nobodies go once they've been like, made whole again.

I havne't thought the theory through completely, but it fits the points the best IMO

Has anybody else noticed how often the Fenrir keyblade appears in these trailers? It appeared (at least) once in the original "Keyblade Master" trailer, and about four more times in this "Birth By Sleep" one. It's the only keyblade out of the bunch that seems to stand out to me, and it's the only one I recognize. It usually seems to appear rather close to the camera, too, as if to be suggesting something.

Think there's any particular significance to this, by any chance? The only thing I could think of is that maybe it's their way of suggesting that there will be something related to Final Fantasy characters in this -- particularly, Cloud, and perhaps Sephiroth. But then again, maybe I'm just paying too much attention to minor details. ^^;

Edit: Actually, looking again, I realize there are two (or three?) similar, but different keyblades in these screenshots. Hmm... Well, either way, whaddya think?
LagunaWannabe
Wanna know what I think?

You have VERY keen Observation. I tried looking SO hard for familiar keyblades, but was unsuccessful. The fact that you remember the Fenrir, spotted it once, and then decided to look for that keyblade for other parts in the movie is nuts, because everything moves so fast.

So props. And personally, I think it's a GREAT idea, but unfortunately, I don't think it has anything to do with the game. Primarily because, 1. It makes sense that the creators would repeat some keyblades in the movie since there are HUNDREDS of keyblades for them to show, 2. It's quite possible that there's more than just 1 Fenrir blade in history. Much like we have mass produced things, maybe certain keyblades are produced a couple of times. But here's the biggest thing:

3. The Fenrir blades aren't all the same. In the first pic, you can see the two things sticking out diagonnaly under the handle, the 2nd picture is ambiguous, but in the 3rd pic, the two thing sticking out are connected to the handle, not UNDER the handle. So that one's a different keyblade.

And to prove my other points, if you look at the 3rd picture, the keyblade next to the "fenrir" blade, the purple circle with the blue circle in it, appears in the last picture on the extreme far right, almost against the edge of hte picture. And then to the left othe Fenrir blade in the 5th pic is another keyblade that has the same handle, except upside down. So i just think the producers used each keyblade more than once because it's impossible to design hundreds of new keyblades for this 4 minute video.

DEFINITELY a good observation though, it's one that I had been looking for for quite a while, albeit unsuccessfully. So props on finding this, but i'd be more impressed if we found Sora/Mickey/Riku's keyblades somewhere, because there is an inconsitency in the videos, since the 1st one has them holding the blades, and the 2nd one does not.

The idea of Cloud being important isn't one to dismiss either. Sephiroth and Cloud are clearly like, heartless/nobodies of each other or something, maybe that will come into play.

As I threw in there (while originally posting it, actually), I noticed at the last minute that they are, in fact, different keyblades. For the most part, they look similar, but just a few small details are changed. (Mainly around the handguard.) That alone could suggest something. I'm really not certain enough to look into it that much more, though. <.<;

If the video does not work for you just go to you tube and type in "Kingdom Hearts secret ending" they have about a bazillion videos of the same thing most are poor quality though.

I think it looks amazing but to leave me hanging after the ending KH2 with the message in a bottle thing.(Do not need spoiler thingy says on the original post) But other than that this looks like it is maybe in the past as I believe someone from org. XIII said during KH2 that there were other Keyblade Wielders and they dealt with them before. So maybe this guy is like the original member of Org. XIII but I am probably wrong.

If there was other keyblade wielders than this story just got a matrix-esque twist to it which does not excite me. It also seems thatthe bald dude is killing all the Keyblade wielders kind of like Jedi's but once again could be wrong.

I like the dream world thing but I think in the past is better. But you know what ruins that, the frozen knight tottaly Roxas.

Something I was thinking of last night: Just 'cause it takes place in the past (supposedly), doesn't necessarily mean that the characters from the first two games couldn't be in it. Time travel, anyone? o.o; *shrug* I'd consider it a possibility, myself.

Just some food for thought.
LagunaWannabe
In all honesty, I heard Athrun make a great comment earlier, and I drew some conclusions of my own as well. Athrun said that there's an inconsistency in the videos, because they're holding Sora/Riku/Mickey keyblades at the end of one, but not at the end of the 2nd, so it prolly takes place at 2 diff times.

This was also the case with Deep Dive/Another Side Another Story.

Also, comparing this to the other secret endings in the past of KH, it doesn't actually mean anything in the plot. It could most definitely be in the past, but it doesn't mean the game takes place there. Maybe it's just a scene showing what happened in the past. Something that effect, because DD/ASAS didn't reveal ANYTHING about hte KH2 plotline, and it never revealed its characters except Riku.

SO I think that it's the same with this video. It's nice to speculate, but I doubti it has overwhelming amounts to do with KH3
