So after spending over 40 hours in this game my main character Vaan has a bug or glitch. I have the spell reflect on him and it won't wear off or dispel. I have tryed to dispel it till I keep running out of MP and I just get miss everytime. I have waited over an hour for it to wear off but it won't. I have tryed to recast reflect on him and it misses. I have reset the game and even took the disc out of the PS2. am I screwed or should I be writing square-enix a nasty letter right now? Any suggests would be great too...

Did you check the Accessory you have equipped to Vann because some have the Reflect attribute which is always active once it is equipped to your character?

It could be anything equipped really. But if I were you I wouldn't complain, you got lucky. Just no Cura or Curaja Gambits.

lucky??? how?? lol that means no Bravery, Faith, Bubble, Haste, etc. Thats awful lol

It also mean's that for the most part that character is immune to Magick. lol

Reign do you have any clue as to how you managed to do that?

This same thing happened to me but it is usually caused by items like the Ensanguined Shield, Mirror Mail, or Ring of Renewal. All of these items have some kind of added effects, but in your case if reflect is not wearing off it is being caused by Mirror Mail. Just unequip it and the reflect status should be lifted from Vaan.

omg! I did have mirrior mail on... I never realized what it was... well I now feel stupid... Thanks for the help...

LOL I thought it might have been a accessory or armor you had on that had Reflect. I guess you can hold off on that hate letter to Square-Enix.

Yup, it was a piece of armor, the mirrormail. Just de-equip it. This happened to me once and really annoyed me, but I figured it out five minutes later XD

This is a slight variation of the people who keep complaining their MP is at 0 or they're always Silenced.

Lesson: KNOW WHAT YOU'RE EQUIPPING.

It's not a glitch. You probably have an Opal ring on or Mirror armor.

Same sorts of things happen to me, mainly 0 MP and constantly silenced. First time it happened it took me forever to figure out why. After that it just started to get annoying whenever I got a cool peice of armour or accessory, it had something like that on it.

Another reason why FFXII sucked.
