Suikoden is without a doubt the greatest game series ever made. There are 5 brilliant games as well as Tactics. I liked how Tactics was still in the Suikoden world and had Suikoden characters in it but took a whole new approach to the gameplay. I was just wondering what spin off games to the series you would love to see. My thought was a game centered around Killey, possibly a 3rd person shoot em up (kind of Dirge of Cerberus style) but with needles instead of guns, explaining how he developed his passion for Sindar and follow his life doing solo explorations and featuring cameos from the Prince and Riou when he aids them during the wars. Id also like to see a game set during the time of the Sindar, featuring the ruins from the other games and show how they were truly used.

Either a story involving the Howling Voice Guild inluding Clive and Elza or a good story with Pesmerga and Yuber, which I think would be a very interesting part as well.

As long as they are RPGs, FPS Suikoden would be so very gay. No offense, but as a veteran RPG of over 250 games, I would have to say something like that would ruin the series.

But, a spinoff of Yuber/Pesmerga would be incredible. I also agree that the Howling Voice Guild would make a GREAT one. But my personal favorite, would have to be a spinoff where we take control of Jimba/FlameChampion/Geddoe, and like, it is all their history. I think that'd be a fun game where we fight another Fire Bringer War, and get captured by Harmonia, escape there and get the Lightning Rune, fight the war, seal the water rune, there's the emotional side of Jimba's story, leaving Chris, etc etc. And then there's the love story with the Flame Champion.

I mean, it was already a Suikoden plotline, except we didn't get to play it unfortunately.

I think, maybe creating a new version of "Suikogaiden 1 & 2" into action base RPG will be not bad. Since both are text based but yet, the plot are actually rather great! It would give those who missed Suikogaiden a chance to know whats going on in those 2 game too.

Though a prologue towards genkaku and han, the previous holder of " the rune of beginnings " before Jowy and Riou will be nice ^^

Hmmm, I'm not sure. Suikoden lacked great bosses, or to make it better, arch enemies. And the ones that were, already got taken down by main heroes. I don't have ideas what would the storyline be if they decided to make spin-offs. Its last boss' goal is certainly not about destroying the world anymore. But something more complex, alright. =X

lmao I think Luc's was pretty complex. It wasn't so much about destroying the world for pure evil as it was "saving humanity from an empty future". I think Luc might be as complex as it gets haha. I also think that the Godwin scheming in Suik V was also complex, about how to rule differently lol

A game about Ted from Suikoden IV would also be pretty good.

The only thing Ted really had was the Soul Eater and that rune is already in 3 games.
A sidequest about Ted would be nice, but my guess is that it is eventually about the Soul Eater again and even though it is my favourite rune, it is already in 3 Suikoden games.

I would like to see not a sequel but more of a prequel persay.. I would like the game to possily elaborate on Hikusaak and his empire. The way he kept his runes and his conquest to get them all * I would go into more detail here, but I don't feel like putting spoilers*. Also, Sara and her relationship to Luc, his split from Leknaat and most of what led up to Suikoden 3.

For some reason I have a feeling that this story will come up anyway. Maybe one of the later Suikoden titles?
But this story is too uncertain and yet so important in the Suikoden history that I am sure there will be a game about it.

First Fire Bringer war would be nice, just like a suikoden tactics 2. Not like a regular to keep it all spin-offy. But this series already has 2 I think. But Pesmerga Yuber could be explained in a cutscene or something.

Yeah, a fun little flashback scene. Before the end of the game or something, I think the Yuber/Pesmerga thing isn't all that interesting, and an entire game wasted on it would be a pity. Truly.

Id really like to see a spin off with the baddies about how they got to what they were in any of the games but then again im the kidda guy who wants the baddies to win at least some of the time

So far there is no clue on what their story is and the old director of Suikoden I/II said that it wouldn't be revealed untill the last Suikoden game, because it was too important.
So, it would not fit in a flashback scene because it is too important and it would therefore be a big part of the plot of the game.
