most of the disney characters featured in the Kingdom hearts series sound exactly like they do in the movies. how did they get all of the voices to work together in this game? it's amazing!
Athrun
Because they worked together with Disney so they had the original voice actors available.

But how they managed to make the Japanese version of Donald sound just like a.... well.. a Japanese version of Donald is what I found to be most impressive. hahah

LMAO oh i gotta hear that. that would be funny! (thinking about Donald saying, "Konichiwa!")

Loved the voices in Kingdom Hearts, especially the one of donald everytime he says something it just sounds so funny and teamed up with goofy biggrin.gif best fun team ever in a rpg.

i'm making a new topic in this, what was your favorit key blade? i don't remember what mine was called, but i'll let people know when i find out.
Dragon Brigade
As of yet, since the only one I've played is the first, my favorite Keyblade is the Oathkeeper. Unfortunately I'm too lazy right now to google up a visual for you guys to look at, so the name shall suffice for now...
Lady Anna
Its the magic of Disney. They can do anything.

That was one of the great things about the games that they got the original casts of the movies to do their characters. Though if you look on IMDB you can see that the voice actors were doing other Disney things like Princess Parties and stuff already so I bet they had contracts; plus Disney has a lot of money to throw at these people to get them to do it. Of course they didn't get Robin Williams to do the Genie voice (Let's just say that Robin Williams doesn't like doing things with the Genie outside of the first movie and the only reason he did the 3rd movie was because the producer got fired) but they did a pretty good job of getting everyone together anyway.

Then if you look at the Final Fantasy characters they are the original from the games (except 7 and 8 of course which had no voices...) but the FF7 characters most of their voice actors did the movie as well.

Dont remind me of what they did when they changed Aerith's voice from Mandy Moore to Mena Suvari. I still have to clean out my ears from that garbage... Eh, such bad voice acting.

I agree that voices in KH are done extraordinary. Some actors that lend their voice are really well known like James Woods and Christopher Lee. My favorite voice would be from Quinton Flynn (MGS2 Raiden if someone didn't know) who voiced Axel.

I guess I'll just add to the whole fanbase of Kingdom Heart's voice acting. It's definitely one of the strongest aspects of the series, and considering that the first game got a number of original voices to do the characters, I would assume that the dub version is considered more recommended than the Japanese voice acting. (Assumption, cause I never actually heard the Japanese voices before).

My only beef is Aerith from the second game. With such great voice acting, I have to wonder why the hell they allowed that etrocity to go unexcused.

Yeah the original voices are popular and requested in Japan, that's why they release two versions of the game. One with Japanese voice actors and one with the original English. (Final Mix)

Yeah she sounded like she was on drugs. I really didn't like her performance at all.
