They have something there that sets up your free 30 day trial. Go to content ID's and purchase one, it's on the FFXI screen. (Where it has Play) I think that's how it works.. In the US it's $12.95 a month (+$1.00 per extra character)

When you buy FFXI or an expansion it will have registration numbers on it but I believe you need to buy the game for the corresponding system. Such as, if you buy FFXI for the PC you can only play it on your PC, not on the Playstation.
