3 polls (I've always wanted to try that =p ), about our undead cloaked pals. I wonder how much difference there will be in the 3 categories. As for my own;

Best one: Red Testament; yes, my favorite Testament is Kevin (though I know many don't like him). He's the smartest of the bunch, he seems closer to Wilhelm than the others (if I recall he even plays chess with him once). And unlike the other Testaments, who have a Gnosis-type alter ego (well, we don't know if Albedo does), he has that awesome burning black knight form when he gets... a little angry.

Most evil one: Black Testament; Voyager! I detest this guy, after all the crap he pulled in Pied Piper I was just itching to finish this bash~tard off. Those who know the Pied Piper script surely know what I'm talking about. And he taunts Ziggy further by pointing out how he killed his (step)son, and he clearly enjoys it too. Truly evil.

Strongest one: Red Testament; but I do wonder how much stronger Albedo would be with his Testament powers. But I'm giving Kevin the benefit of the doubt, because his burning black knight form is really strong. He's the only Testament that gave me some serious trouble when fighting him. And his special attack is an instant killer to one character, so yeah. But as I said, Albedo comes close (at the very least). In my opinion, of course. ;p

Okay, I'll bite.

For the best Testament, I went with the Blue Testament. Quite simply, Virgil's backstory is really the only one that I feel has any emotional bite. He's a complex, complicated character, and besides, I like the color blue.

The most evil Testament is Voyager. Honestly, how can you argue with that? He's the only one who is still pushing to achieve his own goals right up to the point when he's eradicated, tormenting Ziggy about his past the entire time. And the way he says Jan Sauer just drips evil.

As far as the strongest one, Kevin probably wins this, simply because out of all four, he strikes me as Wilhelm's favorite, so it's only natural that he be stronger. Not to mention that fighting him is a pain.

Nice topic Xerno! happy.gif

Anyway... in reverse order...

Strongest Testament: Kevin - I didn't really like Kevin as a character in any way to be honest but I agree that Wilhelm seemed to regard Kevin as the strongest. Not just on the battle field either... I just got the feeling that Kevin was the most powerful. Even if they all had the same powers, I just think that Kevin had greater control over his testament powers. He is also the most intelligent... which just makes him even stronger.

Most Evil Testament: Voyager - Any contest? Seriously... this guy was just so damn evil. All he cared about was causing suffering. But he wasn't just a mindless killer, he was very precise. The way he tormented Ziggy just made me love him even more. Read Pied Piper and appreciate his evilness even more.

Best Generally Testament: Virgil - It was his story that did it for me... so much back story but now just one of these characters who you simply feel sorry for. I think they spoiled his story a little in episode III when they made him very 2D ("I'm the gruff soldier who will never fall in love BAH!") but with a story as good as his it didn't spoil it entirely.

So no albedo for me... and the reason why? Well he basically SUCKED as a testament. He lost his evilness (I'm not sure exactly but the U-DO craziness seemed to have left him) and you don't fight him (at least I don't remember fighting him) and the whole thing felt rushed. It's a shame... but at least they ended his arc well (If only there were going to be an episode IV... I'd love to see a schizophrenic Rubedo biggrin.gif)

And going by the total votes (so far) it seems Virgil is the most popular one for others too. I'm a little surprised, because even though I agree his story was good, he had the least amount of screentime. Unless you don't count Pied Piper, in which case Voyager has close to none. On a sidenote; blue is my favorite color too (yet I didn't vote for him). =p

Though I'm not surprised that Albedo comes close, he's quite popular in the Xeno universe. But I agree with Flame that he kinda sucked in Episode III (am I the only one who thought even his voice acting wasn't as great as before?).

Voyager being regarded as the most evil one was kind of obvious. And I'm glad to see more people agree on Kevin being the strongest. I guess it was mostly his boss fight being quite hard that made me think so.

I think the main problem with Albedo is that he gets mellower and mellower from game to game. In Episode One, he's so blatantly nutsoid, so over the top that his character works. I can remember the first time I played it through that the scene in the Song Of Nephilim with MOMO just evoked a reaction of "holy s***, that guy's psycho." By the time we get to him in Also Sprach Zarathustra, all of that energy is just gone. I honestly think, that while his being a Testament makes sense storywise and helps to wrap things up between him, Nigredo and Rubedo, it was more just an addition for the fans then anything else. He's just kind of..... "there." Kind of a lackluster deal considering the awesomeness of the scenes before hand with Yuriev, if you ask me.

Really? I honestly would have thought that Albedo got the least screen time in Episode Three. Maybe I missed something somewhere.

In Episode III, yes. But I meant in the entire series as a whole ^^'' (hence why I also brought up Pied Piper when I mentioned Voyager).

But true enough, as a Testament Albedo definitely has the least screentime.

The Best Testament..... ALBEDO!! I love Albedo. I think he's the best one. I love his story through the XS series and in III he just seems to be that much more likeable.

Most Evil.... definetly Voyager! He just has no heart! I hate what he did to Ziggy!

Strongest one.... I picked Albedo even though Kevin does seem stronger. The reason I didn't pick Kevin is cuz I don't like him... and after all that he did to Allen Shion still liked him?! That's just wrong!... It still doesn't change the fact that Kevin killed Shion's parents....

Well, my personal favorite Testament is Voyager but Vergil by far has the best story as a Testament. The scene in the Church was better than all the flashbacks in EP2 with Albedo and Jr. combined.

Most evil is easily Voyager.

Now for most powerful, I voted Kevin like the rest of you but Voyager was the oldest and I think close to Red in terms of power. It was the description of Kevin's E.S. that made me believe he was the overall strongest one more than his boss fight.
