Lols Tony you lie when you be a Photoshop drama queen. Next time you do I'll tell you to stfu.
I think my most favourite common features in all of them would be the use of text. It's very decorative but has a purpose at the same time, and good design too! My favourite would be either Monsters & Men or Hugo's "Gravity" sig. They're all really nice though.

You have your one rather interesting style, when I see a sig that you made, I can think hey, Tony made that sig. Your boarders are also well done IMO. Wichever way you do them they seem to help the image fit into the background seemlessly.

how in the world did you do the background effects of Gravity??? id love to know how haha

Jun 1 2007, 04:34 AM
Given the character's pose, I thought your "Gravity" sig was better suited as a deodorant ad..

=D
But all joking aside, I'd say you've improved since your '06 stuff. To be honest I still prefer your older works (early '06 and before), but these are pretty nice. Except that Justice one... I just can't get into that. Otherwise good stuff, especially Gravity. I gotta find the time to make some new stuff myself. =/

In my opinion your sigs are a hit or miss Vins. You either love it or hate it and sometimes I really like what you've created and sometimes I think, holy god...what did you made this time?
So far I really like your latest sigs. My favourite would be your Gravity one.
A sig I do not like would be for example your Justice one. First of all, it reminds me of UNLIMITED SaGa, if it is not the game already and second, the character seems out of place there. I do like the background.
Your style has been odd many times, but I guess that is part of the charm. You clearly have your own style.
Overall I think you make good signatures and this is a nice list for '07 and it is not even half way yet, so I expect some more crazy stuff from you as the year progresses.

Stop graphics EMO'ing, Tony.
All of these are really good! The colours are sharp and vibrant, which are complemented by your blending of the backgrounds and your very very tasteful use of text. I'm with Rina, they're also my favorite part of the pieces. 8D
My favourites would have to be Half-Light and Gravity. I really like the warm colours they both have. Reminds me of sunsets~ <3
I'll be honest, though. Justice Phantasm is really good, but the stock bugs me a lot. He doesn't look like he belongs in the piece. O.o

Oblivion Ocean is totally my taste. There's something catchy from that sig, just don't know how to put in words. =P
For Justice one, if you didn't brush the whole dude to blue/teal. It'd work. But that's just me.

I agree, from these sigs, my favourite is easily Blue City, Blue Ghost. It looks really good. I like the border, it looks like it is ripped from a page.
I also like the watery effect it has.
Music for the Head looks quite nice as well.
I am not too keen on the colour of All the Fallen People, but that is just because I do not like the colour. It is me being picky =P.
I like the background of the Violent Myst. It looks nice. The stock puts me a little off though.

Your LP's are so nicee!!! It's too bad that battle never happened. :\ It would've been interesting to watch, but I really liked your entry for it. It all fit in so well together.
Of all your sigs, I like The Violent Mist one the most. The stock fits in perfectly and the colors are like whoaa. :D Nice work, Tony!

P3 love, Tony. I'm gonna stick around to see everything you make of it.
I really love the icons. There's not too much going on in them and that simplicity makes them so attractive.
Of both the sig, I think I loke the second one better. The colours work very well with the theme and the typography is really nifty!

Sep 11 2007, 09:37 PM
I likey the first and the third icons a lot. I'm not as fond of the second one though. It seems more lacking in the colors than the other two.
I really like the Memento Mori sig a lot though. I love how straight to the point it is, with the really stylistic text and clear details. The second is good too, but I liked the first more for the reasons stated.

Gah, I thought I post in this topic already O.o'.
Anyways, I totally adore your Memento Mori banner (the current one you have in your sig btw)~! I just love the colours and the style is very dream like in a warm, twilight feel way. xP
The other Memento Mori is good too, but the text bothers me for some reason, it just feels abit out of place against the flow of the banner. Inside out reminds me of your older stuff xD, very smudgy and old skool xP.
I love the use of vibrant colours in your new banners~! More of that please ^__^!

Manifold curiosity and the avatar look great, just very abstract art types of images, but I'm not sure I like the Persona one too much unfortunately. It's just kinda "blah" with a bunch of diff colors and Orpheus. I dunno, nothing like "wow" about it unfortunately.

Yeah, I kinda feel the exact same way about that pic. can't think of much to improve it and just don't feel like touching it with a 10 foot pole.
Been in a sort of slump, but its been revived. I have about 20 different things I want to do within the next month though.
Hopefully we can get some battles running through these boards, a new tournament of sorts since SoTM is kind of dead. (which is entirely my fault. yeah.)
So yeah, Graphic Battles! Yeah!!

Its been a while since I last posted. Happy 2008 everyone! I suppose I'll post the last of my 2007 stuff, and get onto my 2008 stuff now, I have quite a few things I've made since then. Lets not waste time here.
The Last of 2007
XI - Justice Phantasm

[Christmas Gift for Alazuli -] Still Life

[Battle Against Pesmerga] XIX - Wrath of the Sun
The First of 2008
[Battle Against Koala] Coyotes are Burning
the worst thing I've *ever* done
Seventh Wave

A Simple Process of Elimination
Tell me what you guys think. Is all of this "new" stuff slacking the things that make all graphics generally good?
I'm trying some stylistic changes, emphasis on trying...but yeah.
I'm also activitely pursuing more participation in these boards, what with graphics battles and all. I also think Fieldpiece '08 is in order.

I really like your Justice Phantasm, I had seen it in your sig for quite some time now and everytime I saw it, I thought wow, that looks good.
I'm also fond of your Simple Process Of Elimination.
Those two are my favourites in these 6 you posted here.
In your sig you used for our battle I had a few problems with yours. I couldn't see the text very well and ever since yours was posted I was wondering what the stock on the right was, because I can't make it out.
The left part looks like the Queen from Suikoden V, whether she is or not, that part of the sig looks really good, I just can't make anything out of the right part.

http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/8468/gsvlebonusun6.jpgThat would be the image I used.
The text, yeah, I can agree with you and if I had made it bigger it would have been a much more dynamic part of the piece, but due to size restrictions for the battle I toned it down a bit.
:x
Thanks for the comments!

Ah, thanks for linking that picture, now I can finally see it =).
About the text, personally I don't think it is the size, but the font. Although quite a fancy font, the caps are hard to read, because of the detail in them.
But thanks for clearing things up =).

Hey Rhad can I be frank with you? Yes of course I can. You've got some excellent work really the only thing I'm iffy on is the way most of your sigs look like they've had pastel scribbled over them and then scratched off, this works well with a lot of the sigs but some of them it makes it hard to see the wonderful potential behind it. Though...there's only about two sigs that are like that so I don't know what the hell I"m complaining about.
I'd love to see what kind of awesome-ness you could unleash if you tried something a little different to your comfort zone, however I love the work especially the one I showed you in the chat

Well, mighty fine works of art you have here Rhad. Haven't been busy, eh?
Anyways, your 'Still Life' piece is definitely catchy. The theme is really present in it as well with the mixture of colors flowing from one side to the other. As always, great job with the text in the bg. I dont think many of us are able to use it the way you can. It definitly makes the piece a whole, in a way.
As for your Justice Piece, great job on it too. Is it a manipulation piece, or did you make the bg using the cloud render and then adding some noise to it?
Great Job on the rest of the other pieces as well.

New, not so new, whatever. Me and photoshop have kind of had a love and hate relationship going on for the past...oh...5 months or so.
But I managed to churn SOME ##### out within that timeframe. Some of it you've already seen, some you haven't.

Signify : The idea here was to create a piece that evoked a certain kind of imagery. Some saw it, some didn't. A pretentious endeavor from the getgo. Also my current sig.

Suffocating the Bloom : I played with this at least 3216543126 times until I got it right. This isn't even the way I wanted it, but ah, hell, whatever.

Half-Life : Battle Piece for the battle against DxS.

Angels & Demons : Fieldpiece...piece. I wanted to have the "end" piece finish it with a bang, but it just wound up looking ##### weird. Sorry for ruining the FP for you folks. Definitely one of my worse works.

Wood : I...don't even know.
Maybe more will come soon, maybe not. Who knows, really?!

Tony you always give sig making a whole new meaning =) They always look so artsy and beautiful. No matter how bad you think they are. I find all of them to be beautiful.
Signify : I sorta get a "horse rider in dark cave" image out of it though =x Not sure if i'm right. But thats what I got.
Suffocating the bloom : I think the text is a little hard to see. Other then that. Beautiful =D
Half Life : Cool. It gave that cold Icey feel. The sigs give a right atmosphere. Just that, too bad there isn't a text for it.
Fieldpiece : its perfect for ending.
Wood : Awesome and really gorgeous. Don't ask me why, but I like that lady in the sig. Very oriental yet very westernize art. Awesomeness =)

I am ultra impressed with the latest sig you're wearing now. *o* I love the use of text and the way the girl is the center focus. Great colors as well, not boring at all.
The battle piece has great color variety, but I think you could've done more with it. Little detailing and a subtle injection of your oh-so-reknown typography would've been nicer I think.
