I know is pretty old but about a year and a half ago someone claimed on this site to have created an altimit os more so a theme of some sort can anyone help me find it?

Um... I don't recall... Here's the .hack online website I guess.... Maybe they made like a Linux distro called Altimit or something?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the Altimit OS topic here was a load of #### started by some kid. He was an idiot who posted a screencap of a fake OS desktop and gathered a sickening group of cult-like fanboys, and managed to convince a lot of people with his BS. And then there was his stories about being a teenage super genius... I really shouldn't need to say anything further. Fake project, kid with too much time on his hands, end of story.

That's not to say that there isn't one out there or under development, but the one discussed in a thread here was nothing.

I found once an Altimit OS
I think it was coming with a program called Destop X
It's really cool, it has the sounds too.

i use to be part of that little thread, but after he uploaded his first beta version, i knew it was just a bunch of bs......
it was a program, not even an os, had its own window nd everything

I think a good tip was when he said he had suffered some trauma to his head that caused his brain to get bigger and because of that he was smarter than most people.

If he was that smart he'd know better than to make comments like that.

He did provide a website with a how he claimed he wanted the desktop to look like, which was near identical to what you see in the game.
If it were his, I don't know. I think after 2 weeks I stopped caring about the topic and apparantly he was stroking his ego afterwards.
Nothing really came from out, just a guy running his mouth.
