I'm trying to get some cash, so I'm selling some stuff.

I've got a mint condition Suikoden III. I'll take best offer on it.
Razael
No.

I appreciate the offer, but I've got a copy I still haven't gotten around to playing, so ah, no thanks.

I know what being strapped for cash is like but don't get rid of somthing you may regret later on, the game could possibly be worth quite a bit in a few years.

Suikoden III will never be expensive like Suikoden II is lol.

LP just sell it to EB or gamestop(I think they give money for old games???) Or just sell it on Ebay for lower than what it came be bought for in a gamestore(average price should be around 20 bucks. Yea I know its not worth much).

Where did you get your crystal ball from then? I could do with one myself. If it becomes more rare in a couple of years then it would be a good assumption it'll end up the same way as Suikoden 1 and 2. Star Ocean 2nd Story is prime example of an old difficult to get hold of game that now costs the earth to buy. Never say never and all that.

Those cost alot because they are great rare games. Suikoden III is not great. Besides he needs the money now, not when Suikoden III becomes(in the year 4058) 100$ dollars.
Turtle Smasher
20 bucks.

Many consider Suikoden 3 a great game too so that is just a matter of opinion, and I can't see $20 getting him very far so he may as well just keep it, I just see that as the wise choice but again its all a matter of opinion I suppose.
Turtle Smasher
I doubt anyone will pay more.

Gamestop sells it used for like, 22.99.

I could use a cheap copy haha, the gamestop here doesn't even sell PS1 games. But no matter how long you wait, it probably won't be worth much just because it is a PS2 game. It depends on how rare the game gets. Suikoden II doesn't have too many copies, so its rare and costs more, even Suikoden I is significantly less than the second game. It depends on the circulation. Not many Suikoden II games going in and out but other PS1 games like FFVIII are relatively cheap to find online since there's still plenty of them around. Xenogears is just starting to go up in price. I managed to steal it for $20 but now with Amazon its going for $40 now.

In any case, if your looking to sell something, it still takes time to get your money when you sell something off the internet. Go to a video game store that buy and sell the things or get rid of it at a pawn shop. At least then you'd get your money straight up.

You can get it for $14.99 at EB or Gamestop. I know I did. biggrin.gif

When you got Suiko 2 for sale LP, let me know. I lost my ISO of it awhile back.

Speaking of selling games online, is there an eBay thread around here? If not, is it cool if I make one somewhere? Where would that file under?

Those games are expensive because they are very rare and in high demand the last couple of years. Games such as Suikoden I and II, Star Ocean The Second Story and Valkyrie Profile had limited releases and not many gamers knew about the existance of these games.
If they read on forums how great these games were, they will obviously try to get a hold of these games. If many people do that, the price will go through the roof.

Suikoden III is still buyable in many shops and was released more than Suikoden I and Suikoden II. A lot more gamers were able to get a hold of Suikoden III than the previous two games.
I doubt Suikoden III will get a big price like Suikoden I and II.
