Excellent news hopefully the West will get a look in on those games especially with TOD and TOS, I might have to pick up a Wii if TOS gets released over here. I also read somewhere that TOD directors cut will get a PS2 release, hopefully that's true.

A few details have also been revealed for the 2008 Wii title, Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk. The game will take place two years after Tales of Symphonia ended and will include the original's cast. There are two new main characters and at some point during their journey, they will meet these other characters. At this point, it is unknown if any of the cast from the original join the playable party

One word: Sweet!

And can't help but think of a female zelos when I look at the new girl - but hey i guess thats just my imagination.

Well it looks like IGN were on the ball with this one after all - but never expected so many to be announced at once - now just gotta keep fingers crossed for the translation - i'd settle just for ToR (PSP) and ToS2 - i'm not greedy

This makes me very happy indeed, to know that there is in fact going to be a ToS sequel, along with an entirely new Tales and two older/remakes. Wonderful news indeed! Of course, I only have a PS2 to play one of them, assuming that’s the console that Tales of Destiny comes out on. My sister has a Wii, so maybe I’d be able to play ToS 2 on that...

I mostly look forward to Tales of Symphonia, personally, but this is all good news. Hopefully some of the old cast are playable in Knight of Ratatosk...But, whatever. I’m satisfied just with a sequel, personally.

Yup, well, enough babbling from me for now. Once more news comes out for these games, you’ll probably hear more from me as well...

Has anything been confirmed for the West yet though? We all know how shy Bandai Namco are for releasing their games in the West.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I have said since I got my Wii, a Tales game MAKES my purchase for this system. Period!

And I also hope we get Rebirth, which we actually probably might, seeing how Radiant Mythology did make it over. (Now I should almost buy it just to support these games coming over.) Like Slime, I have a Japanese copy, but could never get through it with a paper script.

This. Is. Awesome.

I can't wait to see how the Symphonia and Abyss engine runs on the Wii.

Actually, I wish they didn't call it exactly Tales of Symphonia again. It should have been a normal title like the rest of the series.

EDIT!!: Much Bigger Scan!

Also, Character art for Symphonia: Knights of Ratatosk.

Also, Innocence is supposedly going to have a new version of the LMBS called "Dimension Stride," or something similar.

Edit: Tales of Innocence movie coming July 23rd! Two dayz afta teh Potterzesses!

It seems that Innocence is being worked on by Artoon, the same people behind Yoshi's Island DS. No details of whether or not this is complete outsourcing or just a team working along with the Tales Team. Word on the street however is that the main titles are now going to continue to be on the DS.

Wait. Just read this.

I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing that the Symphonia title is a direct sequel and not a stand alone game ala Symphonia was to Phantasia. But never the less...Tales for the Wiiiiiiiiii!

:D I've been waiting for Tales of Innocence for a while. (I think it's on my ign.com wishlist, actually....)

The game I really want though, is the one for the PSP. ;-; I love sprite in-game graphics like that....it's so endearring.

But I guess I'll be happy with my DS. :p

It does indeed. I just hope we see it over here, the only thing that does bother me slightly is the lead character being 15, at the risk of sounding a bit ageist, I hope he grows older in the game, because I just can't take a kid with a sword very seriously, ah its a Tales game i'm sure i'll get over it.

New scans people curtesy of true-gaming.net and thanks to Symphonic Heaven for finding them

Tales of Innocence
Tales of Innocence 2
Tales of Innocence 3
ToS : KoR
ToD/ToR

For the low down on the info in these scans visit the Symphonic Heaven website

Comments on the interview given along with these scans can be found floating around the numerous tales websites - one intersting point being the fact they kept the announcement down to four games only - indicating more titles are in the works - begin the rumours of the TotA sequel!
