Alot of people seem to be tired of Disney in KH, so...
If you could choose any place/area in any FF-game to become a world in a KH-game, what would it be?
please try to explain why, too!
I personaly think Balamb-Garden (flying)
Could be a great world, colorful small areas, perfect for troubles and puzzles! and if Balamb-garden isn't enough, then Galbadia-Garden full of heartless/nobody's can suddenly attack (ok that scenario would be a complete copy! but it would also be comical)
and when all is well, in the garden, we'll get to see Selphie put a concert on the stage (this time larger and more spectacular then the puny one in FF8)!
special characters you meet there is:
Zell - repairing the garden all the time, which is punching machinery when he's not hunting hotdogs)
Quistis - are in charge of the garden
Irvine - hitting on girls, Zell and Quistis doesn't know he's there!!
Zidane - Irvine's competitor for girls!
Balthier - the third competitor for the girls... or rather girls compete for him, to Irvines and Zidane's grief!!!
Nida - sleep's because a floting garden can't flot on emptiness!!

Personally I think it would be a silly idea for Final Fantasy worlds to be included instead of Disney. Either it’s Disney or it’s a world made exclusively for Kingdom Hearts...Kingdom Hearts is incorporated more with Disney worlds/characters and though there are a lot of other Final Fantasy people, it’s not meant (from *my* understanding) to be another Final Fantasy game.
The main reason there’s complaining is that the Disney aspect can get a little silly. Not that it’s bad, just that the way it’s portrayed it makes it...less serious. I think if they add a Final Fantasy world...(unfinished statement) >.o They need to make their own Kingdom Hearts exclusive worlds, not go to FF. KH was made to combine Disney with a whole new set of characters, not to be a fall back on Final Fantasy. Sure, there are FF characters, but I don’t think they should lean too much on that. The story with Sora, Kairi, Riku, Donald, and Goofy, etc, is fine enough without placing too much hype on Final Fantasy.
I don’t know how much sense that made >.o I’m just saying that Kingdom Hearts should stick with either Disney worlds (where the plot comes from) or worlds like Hollow Bastion and The End of the World that are made for KH. Otherwise, since the worlds are where the stories are from, you’d be following the story lines from previous Final Fantasy games wherever that FF world was from with some KH story mixed in and that’d be dumb in my opinion...Meh, whatever...>.<

Well the Disney world follow the story lines in their individual movies to a certain degree, so the Balamb/Galbadia thing would be ok, and yes probably comical.
Anyways out of everything I'd choose Midgar, probably before the whole thing in FF VII. Basically because I like the layout, with the upper plate section, and other things like the reactors and Shinra building, lots of places to go and jump around in.

If that's the case Dragon Brigade, then they rather take away all the Disney worlds and only make uniqe one's!
...but that wouldn't work

wasn't the Kingdom Hearts hyped just because of the said mixture of Disnay and Final Fantasy, I'm acctually dissapointed it doesn't have FF-worlds!

if that's the problem, then argue this: Didn't KH2 fall back on the hype of Pirates of the caribbean when KH2 was in it's advertisement!?
So I see no problem with this topic!

Woah, hold on a second. I said nothing about this being a bad topic. I simply stated my opinion that there shouldn’t be Final Fantasy worlds. I’m not against this topic at all. I just wanted to clear that up.

sorry if it sounded offensive, didn't mean to! you have the very right to state you're opinion, what good use would this forum be for if you couldn't!
anyway... only one responce yet!!! isn't thereanyone else who would like a FF-world in KH?
Like you're idea YourSweet666, Midgar could be good, mostly becouse it's bigger then Balamb Garden, and still have unexplored area's players haven't been to yet!

Aye, fair enough there.
In my haste to reply yesterday, I forgot to quote also your other argument. As for KH I being hyped with Final Fantasy...I first heard about this game in fifth grade from a close friend. He told me all about how he was fighting the Queen of Hearts' cards and all that. He told me that it was a conglomerate work between SquareSoft/Enix (one of the two) with Disney mixed in. I never saw the game played until two years later when my sister got it. Advertising + Kingdom Hearts= Never reached me.
As for the Pirates of the Caribbean stuff...Again...Dragon Brigade=--Lives in a cave. I know nothing of what they did to advertise >.o So, I can’t use that to an argument.
Don't worry. I took no offense^_^

I definitely think they should use some Final Fantasy worlds. The problem with them creating all their own worlds is that the worls will become repetitive and empty after a while.
When we go to Disney worlds in KH 1 and 2, we already know hte stories and history there. Yet Traverse Town and Twilight Town are pretty empty with no sentimental value behind them. THere's no history of either world.
Whereas, if we put in a Final Fantasy world, we already know a history of it, and it makes the world more interesting to explore.

If they were to put in a FF world I would say put in a Gold Saucer world. I think this because I would want it to replace Atlantica, and all that was in KH2 was a bunch of crappy (in my mind) Mini games, so replace it with a place with a bunch of mini games. Also, who wouldn't want to see a KH character riding a Chocobo if they added Chocobo Races.

I think Kefka's Tower would be good, or even Chaos' temple. I would like to see Final Fantasy worlds built around bosses, as opposed to something like the Garden which is pretty boring and already well explored from FF8. The difference between Disney and Square worlds is that most of us have already explored the FF areas, but we haven't run around 100 Acre Wood or Wonderland in video game form. If FF worlds are ever used, I would like to see areas which were either underexplored or off limits in their parent game.

Sora, Donald and Goofy riding Chocobos and beating heartless... yeah I can see it in my head, and I like it! I like it alot!!!
Kefka's temple or Chaos tower... well you might be right about a more unexplored area might be more interesting but the area should also be easy to recognise where it's from and have somewhat variable areas!

Well one thing with Disney worlds is that they are almost instantly recognizable. In the movies, the 'world' was fairly small yet memorable. Such as Alice in Wonderland, there was the strange place where she was huge and everything was small, or the other way around. Then the creepy forest and where the Queen of Hearts was with all the other cards and whatnot. Atlantica was simple enough, Hallow Bastion, etc. That is all that one world contained.
Final Fantasy worlds are much different and quite vast. You generally spend thirty or forty hours going through various locations, so of course they are bigger than the Disney worlds. To put Final Fantasy worlds in Kingdom Hearts, it would have to be certain locations. Such as FFVIII. You could be in Balamb Garden, on the Ragnarok, in Esthar, or even Ultimecia's Castle.
While I have only played the first KH, I think the audience for the game was mostly gathered to teenish aged people who grew up watching those old Disney movies that are forever etched into the back of our minds. So we get a big flashback to our own childhoods, remembering watching certain movies over and over again, as we play the game, seeing certain parts from our favorite Disney movies. As a plus to our fandom, we see Final Fantasy characters being put together. When in our wildest dreams (or a fanfiction) could we see Squall and Cloud in one place? And Aerith is alive! Will Cloud and her ever meet, will the FFVII storyline play any affect if they do? Oh my!
Hehe, so in any case, I feel that at first, the Disney locations tore at our hearts while the FF characters got us all excited. Overall, unless they're running out of Disney movies, I'd like for them to stick to the Disney levels, I did enjoy those, and getting to battle with other Disney characters. It's just how things go though. People say the Disney levels are getting boring, then when KH3 comes out and all of a sudden most of the levels are from FF's, I can bet people would be put in an uproar. Personally I think the Disney levels are much more memorable than Final Fantasy levels would be, although the Gold Saucer would be a very cool level to visit. There's just that magical memory in Disney than there could ever be in Final Fantasy. I'd stick with Disney myself, but its all a matter of opinion.

I would have to agree with some of the prvious posters about maintaining the Disney levels, though it would be nice to have at least one Large, I mean Large, KH Exclusive world that is kind of a mixture of a few of the older Final Fantasy areas. Maybe like Mixing Midgar, Gold Saucer, Alexandria, etc etc Into just one large world with KH appropriate twists and changes. Maybe this is a stupid Idea, but thats what KH is lacking, Bigger worlds with more to explore :/

But I still would like one or two FF worlds, right now it's only Disney and some Kh exclusive worlds!
KH have way to little FF from what I expected whenI first heard about KH
If they would have such a FF-mixed-world it shouldn't be to many worlds in one, good idea otherwise.
I think the size of each world is good as it is, If they are still able too put in story as much as they increse the world, then i don't mind!

I'd cry if they added Final Fantasy worlds. Really, I would.
I completely agree with Dragon Brigade's opinion. I don't think there needs to be any Final Fantasy worlds to make the series better. I don't understand why everyone complains about the Disney aspect when Kingdom Hearts would not be Kingdom Hearts without it. It would be another Final Fantasy game.
The Final Fantasy characters are only there as visitors, anyway. Nomura said so himself in an interview.
Besides....seeing the Disney worlds is part of what gets me excited for the series. ;o;
Sorry if I'm sounding negative or offending here, I'm not. I always found it silly how KH fans always complain about this sort of thing.

Ooh, Final Fantasy worlds! This would be awesome...
Let's see... I'd want something cute from the series... like the Moogle's secret hideaway... thing (from Final Fantasy 9... can't remember the name because I haven't played in so long) or go WAY back and do the Moogle village from Secret of Mana!
Other worlds I'd love to see are Balamb Garden, ANY FFIX world (they all rocked), and uh... Yuna's hometown (Geez... I've got to play these games again!)

And BANG! Zuli hits the nail right on the head. I never thought of Kingdom Hearts as a Final Fantasy and Disney Crossover. KH is a
Disney game with a final fantasy twist and cameos from the FF games. Even though the role of Squall and co was increased in KH2, they are still essentially just visitors in the game. Anyway, these characters aren't the same characters that we see in the games. They have the same name, look and personality but they don't have the same stories. If you started introducing Final Fantasy worlds then it would mess everything up. If you had a Garden level, then Squall would have to be in it right? But we already know that Squall comes from Hollow Bastian along with the rest of the FF characters (Excluding the destiny island characters). Character histories would clash. The whole thing just wouldn't work.

I think the game could use more FF worlds. I wonder where exactly Hollow Bastian/Radient garden actually is. It iy something from Disney that I'm missing? Anyways it would be cool to have some FF in there but I don't want a repeat of Jack Sparrows world though Sora looked soo out of place.
