I had my friend check on a FAQ to tell me what to do against a Boss I was stuck on, Giant Tree and two Seed of Light, and he said it was the Final Boss Fight. Now I getting up to that point, the storyline seemed to have holes in it. I am just wondering, is the Giant Tree fight really the final fight?

Well there's a 1 on 1 duel after the Tree fight, so it's not really the last boss, but it's the last regular boss fight, yes.

The tree is pretty simple to beat, just focus all your attacks on the tree and ignore the seeds. If you have Snowe then use the team attack with Hero. And if you have Ted just keep using his Soul Eater for massive damage.

This is Off Topic, but the Ted character that you posted, is that the same Ted from the first game, or is it just a coincedence(My spelling is probably off)

Same one. While this takes place before 1. Remember TED had the soul eater for over 300 years.

Same Ted yes. He is in Suikoden 4 as well.



You had to get him before the liberation of Obel though or you would miss him. He is the strongest character in the game so his Soul Eater is very useful in boss fights.

All I did was have Hero and Snowe use their unite attack, Jeane use lightning magic, and Ted use the Soul Eater. The tree was dead within a few turns.

I had a much tougher time as I sped through the game the first time and didn't bother to get all the characters, that I'll do on my 2nd time through. So the tree was a fair challenge for me, but I took him down eventually. It didn't help that I sent two of my better characters on the "away" team and didn't have access to them for the final fight.
