Yes he is Elk. You'll find out that the name of the player who plays Endrance is the same as the one who played Elk.

thank you so much i was thinking "i guess Elk couldnt access his old account so he made a new one" so wat happen to Mia then in other games did she get data drained by Skieth? i never made it that far on the others

That I have no idea. I've only seen a picture of Endrance player's ID card or something which showed his name, and it was the same as Elk's. You can read more about it on Wikipedia.

oh if anyone is still looking at this post does it say in .hack//G.U 2 that endrance is elk? cause i saw in the wiki note that it says yata says it. but i dont remember hearing yata saying anything about that. soo...anyone wanna tell me?

well if you watched the .hack//roots pi was that one woman with the dagger. that was working for the one lion guy. lol sorry i have no clue what the names are but maybe the answer is in there somehwere.
