Given my track record with Microsoft ( 3 Xbox's... Am I on my way to 3 360's? ) I'm really not surprised I'm having this issue.

A friend of mine brings over his gamertag on his memory card... For some reason today, my 360 starts up not detecting my controller, and then his memory card. The fix for the controller not being detected is easy, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the memory card to be detected.

I play my 360 maybe 8-10 hours a week, if that. I don't abuse it for long periods of time, and I've not had an issue until today. I'm working on finding out if my roommate played my 360 last night and did something really stupid, but for some reason the memory card will not be detected on my 360.

I've never had to configure the controller to my 360 since I started it up when I bought it until today.

And yes the card works, he's using it on my roommates 360 as we speak.

Anyone heard of the issue? I've looked high and low but have found nothing but some people having the same problem with no solution.
