Im looking to buy a copy of Suikoden II, ive checked ebay and amazon ect but they all seem to be going for about £60 - £80, i was wondering if anyone knows of a place where i could pick it up a bit cheaper? ive recently got out my Suikoden I and am gonna start it again, id love to go straight onto II when im done.

Thanks.

I'd advise you to get those, considering usually they can get up to 200 pounds, so 60 is a good deal, it is also really worth your money.

Those are less than one should expect to pay for Suikoden II these days, so yeah, do it up.

As the Capcom vs. SNK announcer would say, "Go for broke!"

But yeah, that looks like a pretty good price for Suikoden 2 concidering what I usually see on amazon and ebay.

That's actually the Street Fighter Alpha announcer, but they used it in that game as well. =P
PAL RPGamer
For a decent PAL version of the game that is definitely resonable price, especially considering i've seen the game go for in excess of £80 for the disc alone, and that wasn't even in particular good condition. Just make sure you confirm the condition of it before you commit to buying it.

I managed to imported a mint copy (NTSC) from the states for just over £45 which i considered to be a bargain compared to what i've seen them go for. Of course i did have the worry what condition it'd turn up in after 2 weeks of waiting for it after it got stuck in the mail due to the postal strikes - and luckily didn't get hit by customs.

I can't believe how expensive suikoden2 is. Ok it's probably the best rpg i tried yet, i wish they still had it at the video club lol. I'll buy it too some day smile.gif

It'll go for £100 over ebay easily... and yet they STILL won't release the PSP version outside of Japan. I would have thought that was a no-brainer. They could sell the game at full price and people who already own the game would probably get it again, I don't think they'd stand to lose any money (maybe if they tried to send it to us PAL... but even then I don't see them coming at a loss).

Yeah, I'd love to have Suikoden and Suikoden II on the Playstation, but I just can't bring myself to pay all that money for them. If they came out on the PSP, it might just be the game I need to convince me to actually buy a PSP (I'm already near the edge anyway).
The Evil Dead
I wouldn't consider it a no brainer. Suiko 1 and 2 were pretty kvlt when they were released originally. I don't think many distributors are thinking " Holy hotshit Suiko 1 and 2 ported for PSP = Megabucks ". tongue.gif

I mean I think it'd be nice to see it translated... I love Suiko 2 myself and have never had the chance to play the original, but I don't see it ever happening.

As for Suiko 2... Buy it at any costs. It's a good'n.
