Tommy woke up with a jump. He looked around, Everything seemed so, different. He stood up as he rose out of bed, his feet never touched the ground. He looked around. Everything was oh so different. But Tommy couldn't quite figure it out. He turned around and looked in the mirror. His eyes opened wide in shock as he saw what he had become over night. Tommy looked around the room. "This has to be a dream," he said as pinched himself a few times, "OW!" he cursed under his breathe.

"Tommy, you are one of the ten, come to me, and I shall give you your purpose."

Tommy looked around, there was no one. Then, his room began to fade away and another place, a strange realm of a sort, began to form. He was on a small platform, in the middle of space it seemed, yet he could breath, and the grass lived under his feet. He looked around as nine others entered on to the platform, one who recognized him, though, doupted herself at his sight. "Tommy!" Kristina yelled as she jumped onto him, giving him a hug. She was almost crying. "What is going on here, do you know. Some called to me, and next thing I knew I was here, and there you were."

"I hate to say it, but I have no idea what the hell is going on her," he looked down at her smiled, hugging her back. She pulled away and looked around at the other eight as they too began to wake up. He then looked up, and saw it, the one who had called to him.

OOC: Ok, there is pretty much how it start for everyone, your reactions and everything are up to you, but the rooms will fade away after the voice calls to you, it will be the same thing except your characters name, rather than mine. I will try to control this, though not much, what your charcters do is up to you, I will simply try to get every off to a start in the same area.

Everything was blurry, his eyesight seemed limited. Yawning, "What time is it..?" Chastity said while opening his eyes, stretching out his arms. He tried sitting up, forgetting his girlfriend had slept over, and fell back down with the unexpected weight. He thought to himself, "Ha, thats right.. she slept over and we are in my base--, Chastity wiped his eyes clear while thinking but suddenly stopped. --ment? This can't be my basement.. it isn't OUTSIDE!"
Chastity immediately sat up straight, yet again, forgetting she was on top of him; this didn't seem to stop him this time. She fell off of him onto the grass, it didn't wake her thought, she was a heavy sleeper.

"W-w-what.. is this place..?!" He thought aloud, "Am I dreaming? ..No, this seems. too real to be a dream. Holy s%*t, am I dead?!!!"

"Hardly, little one.." Said a voice behind Chastity.

Chastity turned to see the creature; a red Imp with wings. "What do you want from me?"

"It is not I who wants you, it is Master, who wants you. I came to inform you that he shall be stopped by once he recovers from.. a long slumber."

"Master.. who?" But before Chastity could finish talking, the Imp flew off into the distance towards a large estate suited on top of a mountain of grass.

Chastity looked to where his girlfriend fell, she was fast asleep, but she didn't look like his girlfriend.
This place is f*%ked up.. Chastity thought before approaching the figure on the ground.

Dan was never a still sleeper. He always seemed t fall asleep on one side of the bed, and wake up on the other upside down. Dan tossed and turned in his sleep that night, and eventually landed on the floor. With a smack of his head on the dark marble floor, he awoke.
"Jesus, this floor is COLD!" He said out loud.
He looked down with a questioning expression.
"Where the hell am I?"
.."You are home." Someone said from the distance.
"Who said that!" Dan said, turning all around.
"Theres no need to be frightened, Master. You are home at last." The creature came from the ceiling, carrying a mirror.
"Who are you?" Dan said, demanding an answer, "And where am I."
"You are home, and I am your servant, Master." It spoke in short sentences. "Let me show you what you look like, you have probably forgotten." The Imp said, holding the mirror up.

Dan was astonished to see himself. His eyes were pure black, and he had long spiky hair.
"What is my name?" Dan spoke.
"Master." The flying Imp replied.
"My real name, tell me it. Now." Dan said in a stern voice.
"Rose, Master Rose." The Imp replied, flying away.

"Hey, come back! My name isn't Rose!" But no reply.

Dan, or Rose, looked around the place for quite some time until he noticed a book which seemed fairly old. The book soon explained to Dan who he was, and why he was there.

OOC: more info on the book later.

Her eyes fluttered open as she realized what lightly touched her cheek was not her boyfriend's warm hands. the cold, wet grass felt soft under her shaking hands, she moved to get up but froze. "Where the....." she looked around at the infinte starry skies. He was nearly shouting to himself, pacing the ground in confusion. "Babe!" She rose and ran to him. "Baby what's going on?" as she looked it registered, this wasn't the same man she'd fallen asleep with...well it was but, he was different. So was she, as she moved she felt a new weight on her back. Wings now fluttered and twitched, as a new born bird's just shaking off the warmth of the womb.

"Are you ok?" he said tightening his arms around her waist.

"Yeah, I'm alright." her long cold fingers ran through her hair, "What's going on? Why are you...?"

"Shhhh, don't we'll be ok, I promise."

His comforting voice fell on deaf ears, she knew that something bad was going to happen, she felt it on the air. Her body felt surrounded, shrouded in darkness, in hopelessness, in pain. She felt her anger rising like a storm born to tear everything apart.

"Apathy....Apathy come to me." a voice seemed to call from every direction.

She broke from him, and in a rage of confusion she screamed into the indifferent stars, "What the hell do you want?!" her voice dropped to a whisper, "Why are we here?"

As he ran to her, she felt the new rage in her heart, the aura that surrounded her seemed to swirl and storm. "No,"she thought,"No, whoever has brought us here is going to pay. So help me god, if anything happens to him here someone is going to die." Her arms tightened around her waist, she nearly toppled over herself in this new anger that seemed to tear her in two.

He touched her arm, his skin was soothing. He seemed to read her mind as he always did, "We'll be alright I promise, just calm down"

========================================

The gentle breeze awoke him, the rattling of the chain around his neck. As his eyes shook off the night he saw, the dismal light of his home was gone, the familiar was all diminished. Nothing but an expanse of gray brick and shadow lay before him. His arms shook as he threw himself up. His eyes widened at the sight of his left hand, bleeding and mangled it lay beneath a bandage. "How....what is happening?" He huddled down and shut his eyes, praying that it was all another childish nightmare, it would all disappear when he opened his eyes, she'd be there when he opened his eyes....it would all just go away.

A voice called to him, "Michael this is no dream. You must come" it beckoned.

"Where. What do you want from me?" He loosened his grip on himself. His heart beat crimson hysteria through his body. His normal calm rational seemed to fade into the shadow. He felt panic.

"Come now darling. Do not be afraid." the light voice seemed to float around him on the wind.

"No...What am I nuts?! No this isn't real, Michael why won't you wake the f%$* up?!" he scracthed his arm, it bled. "The pain would have woke me. I should be awake." He quickly roped his fear in, he had to find his way back, he had to see her one last time. His heart beat slowly dropped. I'll see you again my darling.

His eyes opened, it was real.

I know it isn't very long, but I'll add to it, I'm just a bit blank tonight. I'm open to any suggestions, thanx.

"We'll be alright I promise, just calm down" Said Chastity, trying to soothe his angered girlfriend, "I promise." He whispered, holding her tight.
'Crap.. I was never good at calming her down. I'm good at it with just about anyone else but her. It's so unfair! And what is this new rage I feel building inside of her?'

Chastity held her close, watching this new found aura of hers swirling violently around them. It seemed every living thing in about a seven foot radius around them leaned away as if they wanted to get away.' This is strange.. are we scaring the.. plants? No, no it doesn't seem like so, when I was talking to the Imp, everything seemed to learn closer to me. That only means that... She's scaring everything away. Apathy.. whats going on?!!'

Chastity couldn't bring his thoughts to words, he just wasn't good at calming her down as well as he was with others. Instead, he did the only thing he thought he could do. Grasping her clothes tightly, folding his bright feathered wings around her, enclosing her in himself.

'Apathy.. Chastity..' An unfamiliar voice called out from everywhere, yet nowhere, 'The time has come. Come with me.'

Apathy was about to probably start yelling at the strange voice but Chastity interrupted; "Lets just see what he.. or it wants. Theres no need for hostility, maybe it has the answers we're looking for." Chastity could feel Apathy grip onto him tighter and tighter with each passing second. She probably didn't agree, but she wasn't going to refuse getting answers either. "I wont let you go, I promise." Chastity said, closing his eyes tight.

====================================*

Rose sat on an old medieval-looking chair. The book lay dead on his lap starring at him, and him it. "So, this is what will tell me what's going on? Might as well find out." He said aloud.
The cover was heavy, and on the inside read a note:
"Hello Rose.. Or Me, I should say.
If you're reading this, them you, or
I have been awakened in what IS

the real world. To make things short
I have compiled this book for such
an occasion, if you.. or I ever forgot
about the past and the powers
bestowed upon us.
PS: If the Imp is still around, and
loyal, treat him well, as he waited
many years for this time to come.
If hes not there, theres a brief
drawing on the back. Find him,
and Kill him.
Good luck~~ Yankee Rose"
Rose sat by a roaring fire starring at the blank pages of the enormous book left behind for him. 'Some help..' He thought. Rose grew annoyed, feeling he had been led-on to discover some hidden powers that would totally blow his mind away, so he threw the book in the fire. The book just sat there, ineffective by the fire. Rose stood and leaned forward towards the fire in amazement by the book. He slowly reached his hand out to grab it, 'Maybe this thing IS my powers!' He thought.
Before he could reach it, the book sprang to life, the pages tore themselves from the book and fluttered around Rose until it was just the front and back cover exposed. "Whats going on!" Rose yelled trying to draw himself away from the fire, trying to tear the pages off of him.
"I'm sorry, Master.. But Master said too." Spoke the Imp faintly behind him. Rose turned to see the Imp just in time before it flew and dug its feet into Roses' chest, causing him to lose his balance and fall into the fire, into the book.
The fire ceased, the book closed and the Imp replaced back onto its stand where Rose found it originally.
"I hope you go easy on you.. Master." Said the Imp, flying down the hall, fading in the shadows.

Rose awoke to see himself standing in front of his reflexion. It stood exactly as he did, however, when Rose moved, his reflexion didn't. It spoke, "Get ready, because I wont stop until you drop!"
Rose was shaken, "Wait.. what?! Who are--" His reflexion started to charge, decomposing with each step.
"What the f***?" Rose said, the reflexion rebuilt itself nose close to Rose. "Boo." It said, landing a punch on Roses' jaw.
The battle seemed one sided, Rose couldn't do any of the tricks the reflexion was doing, and this only got him beaten and battered more as the reflexion would explode into a mist of blackness, swarm either in front or behind Rose, rebuild and land another hit. The pattern didn't seem to change, but Rose couldn't manage to even defend himself, he was just too unpredictable.
This continued until Rose finally dropped to his knees, trying to get him to stop as he remembered earlier when the person said He would only stop when Rose dropped. It worked, the reflexion stopped moving and slowly walked towards Rose. Rose made eye contact with him, but shouldn't of.
"You lie!" The reflexion yelled, setting his foot into Roses' throat knocking him onto his back.
Rose laid on his back for a second and was about to get up until the being settled his knees onto his shoulders. "Remember! Damn you! Remember!" It said, landing punch after punch onto Roses face. The anger seemed to seep deeper and deeper into Rose, and all the questioned fueled the fiery rage even more.
"Why am I here? Who is this person? Who am I? Why is he attacking me?"
"What have I done to DESERVE THIS!" Rose yelled as a black smog swirled around him and the person imitating him. "Why are you hurting me! You Bastard!" Rose yelled, closing his fist tight in nothing. The smog imitated what Rose did with his hand gestures, as it grabbed the being firmly planted on top of Rose, chocking his entire body. Rose lifted his arm and the smog brought the reflexion high into the abyss above Rose. Rose brought both of his hands together and closed them as tight as he could. "DIE!!" He yelled flat on the ground. The smog seemed to thicken as it grew tighter and more firm around the victim, until it finally bursted out into another black smoke.
'Your starting to remember..' It spoke as if it was everywhere, '..Good'
"Remember?! REMEMBER WHAT!" Rose screamed at the top of his lungs until he had nothing left. "I don't understand what you're trying to tell me!"

Nothing answered.

Rose finally found the strength to life himself up off the floor. Everything around him was gray. Nothing but gray.
He lifted his hand up, remembering what he had done earlier, but found nothing, just an ordinary hand. 'I don't get it..' He told himself, turning around to find himself standing the same distance away. It was the same situation as when he first arrived.
It spoke in a mellow tone this time, "My name is Rose. I'm known as Yankee Rose." It said with a bow.
"Oh, so now its the time for introductions?! After you beat the living CRAP out of me!" Rose said.
"I just needed to see if you would remember. It took a little longer, but thats not a problem. I have been asleep all these decades." Yankee responded
"I thought we're the same person... I'm so confused! Whats going on!!!" Rose yelled.
"Patience, as the answers will come in time." Yankee responded, bowing his head down.
"Wait.. don't leave!" Rose said, running, reaching for him.
Yankee seemed to disintegrate in a gust of wind, spiraling upward.
Rose looked over his shoulders repeatably, left, right, left, right. But finding nothing but gray, all around.
"I will teach you most of what I know, the rest is up to you." Yankee called out from nowhere, but everywhere. "Just listen to me carefully, I will answer most of your questions before your calling has come."
..."My calling? My, what?" Rose spoke softly, feeling his unbruised face as if nothing happened.
"You will know in due time, now get ready.." Yankee said.

(OOC: Yankee is Rose just a past self.. if your confused, ask me in the OOC thread)

Tommy looked around holding Kristina close to him, the other eight were just illusions. They faded away "What is going on here?" Tommy asked what appeared to be a man.

"I am Eternity, and this is, my young freind the reallity of all existence." Eternity had taken a form that appeared as an angel, but he was made of shadows. His eyes shone bright with light through swirling shadows and smoke. He was naked, yet he was genderless. the only thing that set him as anything was he body structure, and his voice. "You two, are the first to visit of ten. Your destiny has been fortold, and you face the truth. You two, have but one destiny, and that is to die to save this world. I have unleashed the veiw of reallity to you, but in its wake, a legion of great beast, demons and angels comes forth to conquer this world. You, her, and eight others are all that stands between them and this world." The strange form vanished, and Tommy and Kristina found themselves in the top of a tower.

Kristina looked up at Tommy. "What is going on here?" She looked around and headed for the balcony, looking over it, she saw nothing, but yet everything appeared familiar. Nothing was much the same, and yet everything appeared to be the same. Tommy walked up behind her and hugged her. She looked at him, then down at her chest, there was a strange tatoo on her chest, it had thorns the were unwrapping from a dead heart, and the heart changed from black, to red. Tommy didn't notice, however, the rose on his back changed from a purple of confusion, to a red as well. Tommy turned her around and looked at her.

"I know this ain't the best of times, and of course you are probaly thinking this is crazy. But, I have always liked you, and well," before he could finish she kissed him. It was light kiss on the lips, but that was all he needed. She pulled away and turned around, the heart on her chest was now wrapped by the thorns again, but it was still red. The rose on Tommys back had bloomed.

There was a banging on the door. Tommy walked towards the door; hesitantly he opened it. There was a strange creature there, that ran through the door, up Tommys' leg, and onto his shoulder. It was like a not so smelly ferret, only snow white, with black eyes, and little feather white wings. Antother one that was of the opposite colores did the same to Kristina. The heart and the rose both changed to a confused purple.

There was no one around! Just two walls creating what seemed to be an endless corridor... running steps are heard, along with it is a tired breath of a man. The walls were in constant movement and yet there was no end to it. The darkness surrounding the man was growing has he was running. He ran and he ran what seemed to be an eternity until a door showed up. This door was getting closer. And suddenly it opens and horror flows like a wild river on a tropical storm! There was fire everywhere! The walls were covered in blood! And in of the tired man was a corpse of a child on the ground , burning, fuelling the chaos. As he got closer to this corpse a shadow draws near it. It was a man, holding a second corpse but this time it was from a grown woman. He dropped her on the ground leaving her near the little child. Horror and rage started to explode thru the tired man's body and, has he shouts and runs towards the shadow, the shadow starts to transform into a hideous beast. This beast rapidly stabs the last survivor and just before the life slips away from the grievous man... he wakes up... with his eyes drenched in tiers...

"Another night in my questions..." said Lucas getting up while he dries his eyes. "That's odd... this doesn't seem to be the usual alley." And so he looked around searching for something familiar to calm him but with no success. All there was around him were mountains and plains all covered in grass, ever changing grass telling a colorful story of an aurora.
"where the hell am I?" thought Lucas out loud.
"Good question young one! Good question indeed!" Claimed an echoing voice "This place is known as the peaceful plains... your home."
"My home? Sorry but I have no home. I just have one question... WHO THE F*** ARE YOU? AND WHY AM I HERE?" shouted Lucas ready for any answer.
"I am just a servant of the great one. And you, young child, are where to be our savior along side with nine other companions." answered this strange yet soothing voice. And it continued "But alas. You can not proceed. You haven't opened you heart."
"My heart? What do you want with my heart?"
"You haven't awoken from your dream... not completely! Let your true power bloom. Let your memories and your heart be your weapons... let your wishes come true!"
"My wishes... what if I don't?"
"You will die without your thirst for revenge being settled."
As soon as those words rang in Lucas' ears his arms dropped and he fell on his knees. For a few seconds he caresses his right wrist. Afterwards he looks to the sky and whispers the words "I promise...".
Directing himself to where the voiced seemed to be, he asks "What do you want me to do?"
He get no retribution for a minute or two and then... "...open your heart, remember those you love... and tell me what is you deepest, most truthful dream!"

Lucas closes his eyes and very softly he answers "I wish I had the strength to save them..."
has soon has these words flow in the winds Lucas falls in pain, all of his body is in complete agony! His blood, boiling inside him! And it started... the awakening of one of the children!!! Lucas was shouting in pain and agony... but his voice was not alone, someone else was shouting too, his hair changed of colour and a pair of horns were born on his head.
His teeth sharpened like those of a wolf while a tail grew on his lower back! Long and strong, it move has it had a will of it's own...
There it was... Lucas! The fell beast!

" Look into the lake, young one. Look and you will see that your wish has been fulfilled!"
And so he did. Lucas went towards a small lake located at his right and he saw the face of a beast instead of what should be the reflection of his face.
"What happened to me? What is this? Where is my body?"
No answers were given to him... only a voice talked... a new voice
"Lucas............... come to me"

Rose stood still as the vast gray abyss surrounding him turned into black; moments later, hills, valleys, and people took shape. He now floated above what seemed to be a town filled with all sorts of creatures, ghouls, goblins, you name it.
'It was a peaceful time..' Called out the voice again,
"Ha, ha, weeeeeeeeee!" Rose said, floating around.
'Pay attention!' He grunted, causing Rose to plummet to the ground, landing without any injury or pain.
"No.. pain?" Rose questioned.
'It's not real.. well, it was at one time. You're looking at what our world once looked like, peaceful.. wouldn't you say?'
"Yea, but I don't see what this has to do with my, or our, powers."
'You, and nine other fought hard and valiantly to save this. I show you this to tell you to restore order to the world you are in now, as to the one you see before you.'
"Yea, sure. I'll just need to learn what you have to teach I guess..." The room faded back to gray all around and before Rose, stood the man yet again. This time however, he held a large knife and charged towards Rose with it. Rose attempted to dodge, failed and was sliced upward on his left shoulder.
"Watch it bleed.." Said Yankee, "closely."
Holding back the tears, Rose fell to his knees watching as his shoulder oozed a thick purple liquid. The liquid stopped flowing after it had surrounded the wound; it began to retract a second after stopping. The wound was closed and all pain had ceased.
"Amazing.." Hummed Rose.
"You can safely assume that the liquid you just saw replaced your 'blood' and allowed us, or you, to heal as though you did." Yankee explained.

Outside, the Imp patiently waited next to the book with a large mug which steam rose from. The book shook and rattled violently before bursting open, spitting out Rose onto the floor. It had only been a few minutes but seemed like hours for Rose.
"I see you're done." The Imp replied, holding out the mug.
"Indeed." Rose replied grabbing the mug and walking towards the balcony overlooking a lake.
"While you were away, I visited that white man you spoke of, Master."
"What man? I never gave you any orders?"
"Right.. right.." Said the Imp floating away slowly, "Master told me before he fell asleep."
Wow, he really takes orders well.. Thought Rose outlooking a glorious blue lake resembling glass.
"This place sure is beautiful.." He said out loud, cut off by another voice.
'It's time.' It said.
"Hmm, no time for introductions?" Rose laughed, no answer.
'Most of the others are waiting. Please come join them.' The voice said fading away.
"Guess it's time to leave.. IMP!" Rose finished calling out to his servant who immediately settled on his shoulder.
Pretty fast.. He thought.

A white light engulfed him and faded a few seconds later to a room with several strangers, chairs, and a large table. Rose took his seat at the end of the table on a chair with the letters VI engraves on the front. It was the same chair as he had sat in before in his estate, a large medieval wooden chair that had metal all along the edges. The chair had small metal studs every inch down the arms, each leg was solid steel and a seat cushion laid in the center. It was different from all the other chairs, much different, and thats how he liked it.

Tommy looked around the room, there was so much that seemed so familiar. And yet, for some reason, it was all so new. He picked the ferret up off of his shoulder, and looked it in the eyes. "The man said that I was to die, and yet, I refuse to. I will not let my fate be desided by someone else."

"Me neither," said Kris(Kristina) as she walked up to Tommy. Tommy stared into the strange creatures eyes.

"What if," Tommy asked. As he spoke those words, the ferret spoke.

"Yes, ask yourself, what if I have seen this all before. What if this is not a dream, but an awakening." Tommy asked himself those questions. His eyes grew wide, and he fell to his knees, then grapping his head he let out a scream. He fell to the floor. HE had lost all conciousness.

The grass was tame, Tommy stood in the middle of nowhere. The plants and trees were massive in size. Tommy looked around astonished by the site. The the clouds filled thunder, they grew dark as the shadows that had never seen the sun. Then rain began to fall. Tommy looked up at it, and as he did, lighting struck him, again and again it did.

Tommy fell to the ground, writhing in pain. But it was not from the lighting, this pain came from within. He stood up, still shaking, still the pain rushed through him. Tommy looked up at the sky, and his wings spread, and he flew towards the middle of the storm, and as he did, a monstrous tornado dropped from the sky. But instead of hitting the ground, it struck Tommy. It began to fuse itself with him, the wind forced it way into his body, the rain and the lighting doing the same. He was suspended in the air, he could do nothing about what was happening to him.

He jumped awake, his brow sweating. The rose thorns on his arms had grown and now took up a small portion of his entire body. The also glew, with energy. He looked to his side where Kris was abviously experiencing something similar. She soon sprang awake, and as she did, fire burst from the torches, and they all went out, then they relit. She looked around the room. "I... I. I was su... surrounded by a vortex of fire. Then it began to close in on me, and then it was gone, fused with me. I now have its power running through me."

"Something similar happened to me. I was engulfed in water, wind and lighting." Tommy shook his head. "It was no dream." He said pointing to her, the rose thorns had turned to flames, burned on chest without burning her. The flames were alive, trapped on her skin. Tommy looked around, "So, now what?"

"Come with me, there is somewere you must be." Tommy looked around as a blinding light filled the room. He stood a room, alone, then a bunch of strange people apeared, inculding a man at the other end of the table, who was sitting quite a nice chair. Tommys' chair itself was also quite different. It consisted of a strange leather liek material, with vines breaks in it, the back of the chair was tall, with the skull of the beast that the hide belonged to on it. Tommy looked back across the room. The man had an imp, and Tommy had a ferret. The man looked almost normal, for some strange reason though, there was an energy about him. Tommy knew this man had to be from their world, or least what he knew it as.
The_Angel_Of_Chaos
Her aura weakened as her arms grew weak. Her grip on her own body left her tired as she desperately tried to keep her anger withdrawn. As she walked with her lover at her side, she heard the voice again

"Apathy, you have a greater purpose here. You must come to me, do not fear leaving his side. There are greater things at work here."

No. He stays with me She thought, that damn voice wasn't going to get her alone, she was smarter than that. A tom-cat from the streets as she'd always been, no one pulls anything on her.

Wings cut the silent watchful skies, hundreds of crows flew over their heads. As their many black bodies soared on the light wind one seemed apart from the rest, behind them bobbing and weaving. She watched him, she couldn't take her eyes off it like a trainwreck in slow motion. He fell, but something drew her, a touch of destiny about it all. She jumped for the weakened creature as it plumited towards the ground. Her hands caught it's frail body and she toppled to her knees cradeling it's wings on her forearms. "You'll be alright little one."
The bird's sharp yellow eyes followed her with an eerie alertness, it snapped at her hand as she moved to take the stray feathers from it's beak, her hand was cut and bleeding but she didn't flinch. She seemed to know, she felt her power now, what was an unfamiliar burden was now an extension of her as it had meant to be, the wings held no more weight, the aura caused her no more pain. She felt her puropse, she was anger, pain, it was her whole being, she felt it flow through her like the crimson that now filled her palm and stained her balck jeans.
"Hey what did that thing do to you?" Chastity, ran to her side, grabbing her hand in his as he tors cloth from his robes to wrap her wound.
She didn't flinch from the Crow's gaze, she hadn't caught him, he found her, she knew this creature. It took off from her arms, again tearing the flesh on her arms but she didn't care. It flew in circles over her, awaiting her command. As she stood it flew off, beckoning her to follow with only the caw that it knew.
Her legs were tired and her arms weak, but she followed. Her sleepy wings wouldn't hold her just yet, she'd run.

Chastity just stood there watching her run, she had no energy left yet still had something keeping her going.
Whats gotten into that girl?! He asked himself at least a hundred times within a few seconds but no matter how many times he asked, the answer never came. Why is she following that crow..? It's just going to go die most likely, why.. why do you persist on following it!?
Chastity looked at the ground in shame and shook his head, "I'll probably never figure out women.. especially That one." He said smiling, "Why do I find it so attractive? I guess some things are better left unanswered." He looked up at her to find she had not gone too far. With a smile on his face he jogged towards her, a spring in each step. A chill ran down his spine, his wings spread. I wonder if I did that..
A slight breeze blew against Chastity, his wings lifted him off the ground for several feet, he continued to jog. That was pretty cool! Lets try it again...! The next slight gust of wind came almost right after the thought, he jumped this time.

Chastity flew high in the air, he angled his wings wrong. This landing is ganna hurt.. He thought. Chastity must have been four stories high when he started his descend. Quick on his feet, or wings in this instance, he tried leveling himself out but bent too far down causing him to plummet faster than he wanted. "#####!!" Was the only thing he could say. The ground came up fast, he wasn't high enough nor had the time to try leveling himself out again. Chastity did the next best thought, which was to swing his knees up, forcing himself to be perpendicular to the ground. This helped him slow down dramatically but it didn't make his landing soft either. He landed on one leg and started to roll on his side in order to soften the impact.
He stopped on his back a few feet from his 'landing' spot panting. The sounds of Apathy's footsteps encouraged Chastity to get back on his feet and to stay on her trail. He did, and while doing so, he practiced gliding for several feet as he did the first time, nothing as drastic as the second.
I won't let you leave my sight. I won't leave you alone in this weird place. I wont.. I will not.

Rose sat in his chair, right leg crossed over the left sinking back in his chair relaxing. His mug, which he held in his right hand, remained steaming. Whatever this guy made, sure is fricken hot.

A stream of pure white light shined straight down from the ceiling. "More company.." Hissed the Imp.
"Yes, it seems so." Rose replied.

Two people appeared, not one. Interesting.. a pair? A boy and a girl, not too old either. The boy had eyes similar to Roses, his ears were pierced or so it seemed, and he seemed to be protective of the girl.
Rose raised an eyebrow when he was checking her out. She had an amazingly tight top which was cut low as well. I like the chick already. Her eyes matched her hair, completely red. The Imp had read Roses' mind and threw himself onto the table, sliding most of the way once he landed stopping in front of the pair. There was a white ferret slung around the male, it hissed at Roses' Imp. He turned around facing Rose.
"Can I eat it, Master?"
Rose shrugged his shoulders, "It's not my rat, I don't care." Rose stood up and approached the girl, taking a quick look up and down her. He smiled, "You may call me Rose." He spoke lifting her hand, kissing the knuckles. His Imp didn't care, he simply wanted to eat the ferret.

He stumbled to his unsure feet, his breath short and desperate. Gray stone dust fell as his long fingernails scraped and clawed for a steady grip. Quiet candlelight shone it's haunting glow, tantalizing and uncertain around where the tunnel bent to a sharp curve.

"Hello?" he said, his breatheing sped up, "Hello?..... Can someone tell me where the @^$# I am?!"

"Hush..." the comforting voice called to him, "Calm, you are safe here my darling."

He was drawn forward, slow footsteps rang in the eerie silence. His strange left hand threw him off balance, the bandages that wrapped it were torn and hung dragging against the dirt. SLowly he peered his head around the corner, there stood a young woman, her back to him, facing to his escape, into the starlight and moonlight. Her long chestnut brown tresses tumbling down her back, smoothe as the white satin that covered her. It was her, there was no mistake.

"...Willow?" he whispered. "It can't be you"

Her graceful hand pointed to the opening. Slowly she turned her face to him, a somber smile crawled across her lips as she saw him.

He stretched his shaking hand out to her, "Speak to me..." he studdered.

The gleaming green of her eyes glinted as her bare foot stretched onto the grass from under her long white dress. Her shining hair bounced as she turned her head and whispered, "Follow me." She turned to him, "Come to me Michael" her angelic arms held out to recieve him.

He stumbled into her arms, falling to his knees resting his head on her stomach. He took her soft hands in his and kissed her gentle fingers. As his harsh left hand slowly slid up her hip, she tensed. "What's wrong?" He stood up with new strength. Her weakened arms beat his chest but he gripped tighter. Her Tainted tears ran red with blood. "NO!!!! No, no, no....god no. I didn't mean it." He fell to his knees, holding his dear Willow. "I didn't mean it! Wake up!!!...please..Willow wake up."

"Now you see the damage you were meant to cause." the voice called again.

"NO! NO, YOU WON'T TAKE HER FROM ME!!!!" he screamed.

"She never was with you my son." the woman's small angelic figure faded from him. "You must go now, your trials have just begun."

His tears slowly continued, still feeling her in his arms, the warmth of her skin.

"I'll take a crackler." Jin said in a low voice, loud enough for the bartender to hear.
Jin took his usual seat at the far end of the bar, farthest away from the door. Unlatching his weapon, Jin placed it down on the table with a bang. All the commotion of the pub ceased, everything seamed to just glance over at Jin. He turned his head to meet there gaze but his hat stopped them from making any eye contact. His hand slowly found its way over the middle of his weapon, his fingers easily slid down the smooth marble surface, he tightened his grip. The silence stopped and the creatures went back to there own business.
Jin turned to the sound of his mug hitting the table.
"Causin' trouble again, Jin?" The bartender said.
"Nothing I can't handle, you know that Quarkt." Jin said taking the mug, Quarkt replied with a hum.
Inside his mug was a bubbling liquid that never seemed to stop fizzing. It changed colors every few seconds. Jin held it up high and chugged it quickly, not to expose his face for too long. His ears started to fizz out the crackler.
"On my tab." Jin said getting up, Quarkt simply nodded.

It was a beautiful day outside, the trees were at full bloom as well as all the flowers and other unfamiliar plant life. Jin walked for awhile, thinking to himself about what he is going to do on his day off. A day slaying? Naw, it's my day off. He could only think of killing, hunting, or working; which is all he ever did. I know, I'll sleep all day. That's a good way to take the day off. Drop by an old friend too. Jin got excited, the first time in awhile too, he fastened his casual walk to a light jog. Trampling past the town, merchant shops and solicitors who just tried to get in his way, Jin made his merry way outside of town. He memorized the path he took as a child, over the hill and under the bridge, past the screaming lilies and straight past the ice statue which never melted. The bridge did seem a little smaller than he had remembered, but he did get a little taller. The screaming lilies never seemed to stop when they saw someone unless you cut their heads off, but there was no be-heading for Jin today so he had to bare with it for a short amount of time. The grass rose slightly as the lilies grew fewer in numbers and soon small mini-full grown trees were sprouting up. Jin grew excited to see and old friend, for he had very few because early in life he had discovered that his job made the close ones to him in danger, so he kept them few in numbers.
Jin had remembered how he used to surprise his old friend back in the day and decided to attempt it again. Going slightly off trail, Jin found a small patch of green algae growing on the ground. Jin took his weapon off his back and dug into the earth, right in the center of the algae, with one end of his scythe. Tearing the earth underneath apart, Jin found what he was looking for. It was gold glitter that grew only under that algae, from what Jin knew. He stuffed some into a small pouch, tied it shut, and returned to the trail up the hill. The trees grew taller with each step and grew as tall as a skyscraper at the end. Jin peaked his head out and saw what he came for.
It was an open patch of land covered over by small thin bright yellow grass. It was a triangular patch of land, the tip being a cliff and the base the entrance where Jin stood. Near the tip grew a fairly large tree looking over a massive blue lake. Jin smiled, unlatched his weapon and left it at the base of the tree he hid behind. He took out the pouch filled with glitter and crept up behind the tree being as silent as possible. Jin stood at the rear right of the tree, opened the pouch and threw the glitter out over the lake. The suns shone on each piece of glitter, causing it to sparkle violently for a few seconds until it slowly dispersed over the lake with a slight breeze.
The tree extended out a branch to catch some of the glitter.
"Pretty.." It said in a low feminine voice, then it gasped. "JIN!" It yelled, turning.
"Hey Jessica. Long time no see?" Jin said smiling.
The tree had turned everything but its trunk to meet Jin face to face. In the center was the 3D figure of a young womans face. She was the girl in the tree, and the only one Jin had ever seen or met. The tree bent forward and the girl, Jessica, slowly she morphed most of her upper body out to extend a hug to Jin. She had extremely long brown hair and bright green eyes, ones you could probably spot in pitch blackness. She had no clothing on the upper part of her body that extended from the tree, only her arms, shoulders neck and face turned to skin. The rest remained bark.
"My my, have you grown!" She said smiling, "Gosh.. how long has it been, four years I think?"
Jin replied, "It seems like much longer, but far too long is a better answer." He said with a giggle.
"You know, you come all this way to see little ol' me, don't hide your face behind that silly hat." She said as a branch came down and lifted the hat off, another came and brushed back his hair. Jin was still smiling, no one was ever allowed to take off his hat but her.
Jin had spent most of his youth days growing with Jessica. She was the girl bound to a tree and forced to a life of solitude, until Jin stumbled upon her as a pup. Since Jin didn't grow up with a solid family, Jin considered Jessica as his only true relative because they had spent so much of their lives together. Ever since Jin was a young boy and Jessica a tiny tree, only about five feet tall, they spent long nights either watching the stars or taking long naps under the four suns.
"Why did you come?" She asked returning into the tree.
"What? I can't come visit anymore? Is this some kind of holy ground?" Jin said prancing around like a child. "Holy ground, holy ground, I'm trampling on the holy ground." He said cracking up in laughter. This was the only place Jin could let loose.
Jessica laughed along, "Gosh no! Ha, ha. It's just you haven't come in a long time and I was wondering why now? Why ever?"
"I've been away Jessica, I've been all over the planet exploring." Jin walked towards her, towards the cliff.
"Oh boy, now you have to tell me everything!" She said all excited, "And not a detail less!"
Jessica couldn't move away from the cliff, she was bound by her roots, being a tree.
Jin walked backwards towards the front of the tree, Jessica nestled herself back to her original position to get comfortable. Jin leaned back against her looking over the lake and the memories of the older days just flooded all in at once.
He loved being there, being with her. She made him truly happy, they could be completely silent just watching the dragonflies eat other insects, and its the fact that he's sharing that moment with her that makes him as happy as can be. She also was the only person to know him well enough to know when somethings wrong, and she could tell he was well beyond exhausted.
Jin leaned back and slipped down to the ground trying to get comfortable. He laid on his back looking up at the midday sky through her massive branches filled with hundred of beautifully colored leaves. Letting out a slight yawn, he started to tell his story.
He told her how he had to slay this beast haunting a town half-way across the world, how he went hand to hand combat with a half man, half lizard thief who continued to terrorize a small town. Jessica leaned in close and took eventually picked him up with her branches and cradled him as he was telling his story while half asleep. She started to hum him to sleep. It worked almost instantly. Jin passed out like a rock.
"Just like old times.." She whispered softly to her sleeping friend, smiling gently.

"Lucas............... come to me"

"What if I don't?" Lucas replied with a dry answer!

And a tremor shook the plains taking Lucas to the ground! Lightning scratched the clouds and thunder echoed in the skies. The peaceful plains were embedded in chaos. As Lucas struggled to stand on his feet and suddenly the earthquake stopped... and the voice continued "Please do not anger me! Your strength is needed! Your brothers need you, as you will need them! do not forsake me... do no forsake my children. And as a matter of fact, you do not seem to acknowledge your true strength. Your brothers will need your strength! Thrive for excellence and you will succeed in our true goal"

"my strength... I'm strong enough! It never failed me." Lucas said looking at his unfamiliar hands, rough and emboldened.

"Is that so? Then prove your strength to me!" and sprouting from a small lake nearby came a feminine form in a state of water. This "woman" came in Lucas' direction very calmly... and then it attacked! It ran to Lucas with such speed that surprised him leaving him unprotected to it's first attack. This strike took Lucas to the ground! Lucas then realized... this is a test. And so he stood up, ready for battle! The creature started to run again towards Lucas and he did the same towards the creature but when they clashed the creature disappeared in drops of water, leaving a confused man behind! Has he was trying to understand what just happened the creature reassembled behind Lucas and attacked once again unstopped... Lucas raised once again and, this time angered about the situation, with a rage he attacked relentlessly against it but has it seemed he never failed his hits but this creature, made of water, had no problem at receiving Lucas' punches and letting it thru it's body.
After a hail of punches and kicks from Lucas ceased this creature, has in a taunt, went slowly towards Lucas and it attacked releasing it's full power and so, from the lakes nearby came this tentacles of water to crush Lucas grabbing and constricting, leaving him breathless. The creature was taking pleasure in this but suddenly it stooped retrieving it's water tentacles and disappearing in thin air with a scream.

"Do you see, imprudent one! You still Haven't fully accepted you're dreams, your wishes! Come to me and your strength will grow!"

Lucas seemed reluctant but he knew that he had to go... there was no other way... he had to go for him to live.

The night slowly crept upon them as they slept. It had been years since the two had seen each other, yet it seemed like so much longer. The lake beneath them was still as glass, only to ripple when the occasional fish, or whatever it was, came up for air. The ladies of the lake sang a low, calming song in a language familiar to only them. However, even if the words could not be translated, everyone knew what they meant by how they sang. Jessica hummed along with them knowing only the tune but no the spoken words.

A rustle came from the bushes where Jin had entered from, followed by low whispers. Jessica placed Jin on the ground close to the edge over the lake in case whatever came out was a threat. Nobody knows about this spot but Jin and I, he promised he'd never tell. Jin never breaks his promises.. Jessica thought, loosening the dirt surrounding her buried roots in case she needed to de-root herself to fight.
To he unfortunate benefit, she was correct on all accounts: They posed a threat and she needed to fight.
Three large orcish figures appeared out of the shrubs. They each wielded a large spiked club, large than any of her branches, thicker too. The three did not seem to be all too civilized or wealthy as they wore tattered and torn rags for clothing.
They spoke in a different language unfamiliar to her, stopped after a few seconds, and charged.
Jessica froze. Even if she had prepared herself, it was not for anything like this. Three Orcs, at least seven feet each, and wielding clubs thicker than any part of her besides her trunk and base.
At least Jin will be safe for the time being, she thought closing her eyes, awaiting the impact, he'll awake to the sounds of them battering me, probably be too late, but not too late to save himself.. oh please Jin, wake up and run!

The impact never came, and after moments of quenching her eyes shut, she slowly opened them to see what happened.
Jin happened. Jin stood in front of her wielding his own weapon, the site of Jin stopped the orc's in their tracks.
"They were saying that you would be worth a lot of gold, silver and such, if they took you to their leader. If you were wondering.." Said Jin tilting his hat down. She was speechless.
"I've been looking for these three for a short time now and came to visit you when I got around the area."
The three started yelling and hitting their clubs to the ground.
"They know a price is on their heads and I'm out to get it, which is why they're mad." Jin spoke, "Jessica, you're one of my only friends and I will make sure, with my life, nothing bad will ever happen to you as long as I am present." A slight breeze blew, the feather of his hat bent with it. The orc's charged again, Jin disappeared with the wind. The two orc's on the sides stopped moving, blood slowly started to drip from their mouths. The middle orc stopped to look at his frozen companions. He watched them as their heads slowly slipped off their shoulders. His eyes widened, turning around to seek out revenge on the tree, Jin was waiting for it, right in front of him. The look on its face went from angered to shocked, back to anger. It raised its club and swung down, Jin disappeared before it hit him. The orc turned around to find Jin's back facing him and the tree.
The orc let out a yell as it raised its arm, but it wouldn't raise. Jin had cut it off. Jin's head turned to meet the orc's gaze, your head is next he said with a devilish smile.

Tommy stepped in front of Rose, "I would appreciate it if you would watch your step, Rose."

Looking at the imp, the Ferret said to it. "I would suggest you take not a step closer." It said as it shape shifted into a bigger imp.

Kristina smirked at Rose insultingly as Tommy stood between them. "Let us not fight boys, besides, I am already with somebody," she said this as she wrapped her arms around Tommys'.

"I suppose introductions are necesarry." Tommy said as he held back his frustration. "I am Tommy, and this is Kristina." Tommy stood there looking around the room, the other figures had vanished, and what appeared to be huge green to almost black skinned creatures stood around the room, most weilding weapons. "Orcs, I do beleive is what they are called, goblins and gouls and orcs," he mumbled to himself. Tommy drew his blade, and as he did, the air began to swirl around it. Tommy looked at it curiously, then swung his his blade, a small gust followed. *well now, that will come in handy I am sure*.

Kristina stood behind Tommy, and looked at the Orcs. She pulled had no weapons on her except the blades on her boots. She took a fighting stance. She had trained two forms of fighting in the past, kick boxing and kung fu. Rose turned around and noticed the orcs and other creatures. One of the rocs charged, throwing the table at them. Tommy quickly spun around and swung his blade down, as he did, a burst of air splintered the table. "Well, this is well hellava f***ed up way to get aquinted," he said looking at Rose
Gamer-Since-Birth
Rose backed away slowly with a grin on his face. His Imp hissed at the feret which was now a bigger Imp than him.
"Now,now. Lets not get hasty." Rose said patting his Imps' head, "We don't want to start a fight now or nothing."

They introduced themselves, Tommy and Kristina were their names. In return, Rose introduced himself. Rose sent his Imp to fetch his drink, which was still boiling hot.
How did he keep it so hot..?! He thought, starring at his imp on top of his shoulder.
"...Yes Master?" His Imp realized his glare.
"You need a name, 'Imp' wont certaintly do."
"Any in mind, Master?"
"Do you? It will be your name, I will let you decide." Rose said.
"I decide..? Any name?" It said surprised.
Rose nodded, Mhmm he hummed.

The imp took long to decide, too long in fact. The room distorted and faded and then whent back to normal. It was still just them, but more things had appeared. These.. 'Things' being large green/gayish looking creatures, tall, muscular and wielding weapons.
Not the happiest looking bunch.. Rose thought, sipping more of his drink.

Tommy drew his sword out from its sheath, as air began to swirl around it, the orcs charged. Kristina drew knives from he boots and made a martial arts fighting stance but Rose was concentrating more on how hot his drink was, than the fight that was just starting.
The first orc ran and threw a table at the trio but Tommy swung down his blade hurling a gust of wind at it, shattering the table to pieces. "Well, this is well hellava f***ed up way to get aquinted," Tommy said looking at Rose.
Rose smiled, "Sure is exciting.. I guess."
An orc was about to strike Rose from behind with its massive club until Tommy sprang at it halfway to stop it saving Roses skull from being crushed.
"No time for thanks." Tommy said as Katrina sprang to help, leaving Rose alone with two other orcs.
"Go.." Rose said to his Imp.
"But Master..!" It hissed.
"Are you talking back to me?" Was all he needed to say, the Imp left.

The two orcs walked slowly towards Rose, raising their clubs; then the first one started running. It's clubbed came close to hitting Rose, as he jumped backwards. The orc then sprang at him and swiped across his chest with its fingers and grossly large fingernails, knocking his mug onto the floor.
"..I liked that drink.." Rose said, standing still after jumping, his drink started to simmer through the floor.
"Now you ruined a perfectly good drink.. but not just any!" He said starring into the first orcs eyes, "You ruined MY Perfectly Good Drink!" The orc returned his speach with a growl, then a yell as he charged yet again.
"Fool..." Rose hissed, raising his hand.
"Die!" Rose yelled lifting his hand. The orc whent with it, floatting in mid-air grasping his neck choking.
"Fear me or die!" Rose yelled to the orcs. The choking orc let out another yell before Rose twisted his wrist, snapping its neck.
Rose released his concentration, the little he put into it and the corpse fell to the floor. The second orc stared at the corpse and tilted its head confused. It didn't understand how it had died in the air.
"Let me demonstrate.." Said Rose, "I am the sixth, I am one of the chosen few, I am your worst nightmare.." Rose said raising both palms. The words 'Yankee Rose' turned from neon green to black. Rose closed his fists and reoened them, releasing a wave of dark matter towards the orc, who at the site of it started to run away scared.
The two waves slowly formed larger hands, moving in the same motion as Roses' hands did; when Roses hands closed, they closed.
And they did so. The larger hands which Rose formed grasped the orc, holding it tight between its fists. The orc shook and screamed trying to squirm its way out with no luck. "Listen as I crush you, listen as ever bone in your body shatters. Lastly, let me listen to your screams of pain!" He said, squeezing his hands together.
The orcs shoulders soon caved in, crushed under pressure followed by the rest of its body.

Tommy looked at the orcs, tehy shook their heads, then charged all at once, but right as they were about to strike the trio vanished. The orcs looked around cluelessly.

Tommy and Kris looked around, they saw the same scene they had seen earliar. And there he was again, Eternity. In his form of an angel made of darkness and light. Tommy looked at him, and kept quiet. The great god spoke, "We will await the arrival of the other seven children," his voice seemed to come from every direction. Then, another creature that resembled appeared, then another. One made of only light, the other darkness. The one made of light was a woman. The other, a man. They spoke with Eternity. Tommy listened carefully, hearing a few words. "Do... mortals... plan... realm." That was Tommy heard, then the two forms vanished. Eternity looked at the three and chuckled slightly then grew quite. "The others will be here soon.

And so Lucas was embraced in shreds of light, his body was as light as air, his wounds were healing up pretty quickly. He opened his eyes and looked his surroundings. suddenly he heard noises similar to a struggle! It was coming from behind him. He turned and noticed a trio fighting a group of orcs. A coupled of winged warriors and a young man with some sort of pet. He decided they needed a and to take care of the orcs but he was proven wrong. They were taking care of those orcs easily and so he decided to watch the match and to see if he can study the trio's actions.
"Oooooh!.....Ouch! That's gotta hurt... nice moves... that was dumb..."
he kept saying while the others fought and suddenly an orc liffted in midair! His eyes must be deceiving him, lucas thought, but no. The orc was in midair struggling to breathe. "Fear me or die!" the young man said to the orc and then he killed it with the twist of his hand.
"mmmh....this can be useful but it can also be bad.... He can kill us all with ease! I goota think fast if I'm to survive this in case anything goes wrong"
Lucas thought has he saw the gruesome slaughter of the orcs.
"Hush my worried one... these are your brothers. No one is going to hurt you. I guarantee that..."

"I don't know.... I still don't trust him. Even if he's one of those children you said I have to meet..."

Lucas answered in his mind but...
"HOLY F***!!!! YOU CAN READ INTO MY MIND?!"
He mindlessly boasted out loud! The others stared at him, surprised by his presence and his senseless words...
