Has anime ever influenced you to do something because you thought it was interesting? For example i'll take me as one, the anime prince of tennis even though it was horrible and i was throwing up buckets it somehow made me start playing tennis one day. Has anything like this ever happened to you?
Chalryn
Prince of Tennis made me in the mood to play tennis in gym sometime in my senior year. We never did, though. Sigh.

I really can't think of much else, other than just, like, typical things, like maybe trying certain foods or something like that. As I was drawn into anime and such more, I found myself using chopsticks whenever I eat ramen (and occasionally other foods) now, if that counts. Nothing out of the ordinary, though, really...
Dragon Brigade
Anime has never really inspired me to go out and do some of those things. Though in Zelda: WW, after playing with the Pictograph for a bit too long, I developed a bit of an obsession with photography. Nothing much with anime though, as far as inspiring me enough to make me want to go and do whatever it is.
Razael
Ranma 1/2 made me wanna fall in love.
gelmar
Well, animes made an influence on my behavior. I use to say sorry and thank you more than I used to before. And animes teach me, how you can get sympathetic to people. I learn that while watching some real life situation scenes. They make me want to be more friendly towards people and such.

Well "Yakitate Japan!!" made me wanna bake something!

Unfortenaly I didn't own a oven so I had to wait till I got to my parents house but then I had lost my lust to make anything!

Oh and everytime I hear the Intro music to FMA, I get the urge to train my muscles!

Which intro i prefer the fourth one rewrite by asian kung fu generation but i like ready steady go by l'arc en ciel to.

Also now that i remember history's greatest disciple keinichi wanted me to try harder in martial arts.

ok that chopsticks thing is out of the ordinary. I live in the city and dont even know where to get chopsticks (though im sure its not far)

anyways, i saw DragonBall (not dragonball Z!!!!) just regular Dragonball back in i think 1995 or 1996, maybe 94, but it was the summer between 5th grade and 6th grade middles school. I saw Dragonball: Legend of the Blood Rubies i think its called, it aired ONCE on a miami TV station one morning at 7am

Seeing little goku fight and how heroic he was, left me wanting to be a part of that world so much it was weird, it felt like really met all the characters in that show, a feeling only one other time i've had (with Ranma 1/2 for SNES as a kid)

6th grade year this big bully Alfredo a big fat kid would bully a lot of kids, he tried doing it to me once in the locker room and we both had no shirts and i punched hih first and he got super mad and started swingin and crying and i avoided it and hit him a few more times (WITH NO POWER I MIGHT ADD) I was so skinny i couldnt phase him but i guess he wasnt used to getting hit and he quit

the legend of goku inspired me to stand up to him... that was the last heroic deed i did till about high school sad.gif

Well once a few years back after watching Cardcaptor Sakura I went hunting for a pack of Tarot Cards. I figured that ie was the closest thing I would be able to find. happy.gif
Ken Masters
Dragonball Z: Made me wanna fly, so I jumped off the couch and landed face first on the tiled floor. I was six at the time.
Saikano: Made me wanna get into an angst-filled relationship with a girl, just when the world is about to end.
Any anime with a sword: Made me wanna get a sword and start practicing my own unique sword style, and when I did a special attack I'd yell out it's name.
SharkFinn
You guys are weird. The only influence that anime might have had on me is the purchases of DBZ: Budokai back when it was new for PS2 (like five years ago now) and Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 for Gamecube when it was new (like one year ago).

I did the smae thing! I thrived on that anime series and never missed an episode. Buying the tarot cards were (and still are) a great joy to have on my shelf.

True Rune
Other than trying to copy a fighting move or love a new weapon, no.
The White Yeti
I frequently have the urge to defy gravity and save the something apparently worth saving, love, I don't know, whilst coping with moderate inconveniences that further the story plot, with brief scene's of nudity. Or something like that.

Don't get me wrong, I like anime, but I can't see it as inspiring you to do something in real life. There should be a clear divide, as it is only meant to amuse. And to some people, you know who you are, arouse. I mean no offense by the 'you know who you are' bit. People like what they like.
