as a kid i played it on SNES and i remember loving it for some reason, i played it along with Knights of the Round becuz i remember playing it in the Arcades by capcom. I loved both but Ranma had so much flavor and life, i realized that i'ev never seen the anime or even know what this is about. I just watched the first 2 episodes and am in love! i feel like im back in high school! im feelin this son!

Heh, I actually played Ranma for SNES as well, but I don't remember much from it. I watched the anime when I was a kid though. Not thoroughly, episide by episode, but I watched plenty of it and I liked it a lot. My friend from Hong Kong always got a lot of anime on VHS that we used to watch together, and Ranma was one of them. Good times. I've been thinking about re watching it thoroughly some time. Might just do that.

I did watch it regularly. What can I Say i loved the stupid thing. I got really mad when they started putting spanish songs in the intro as before that they used the original japanese intros and i gotta tell you they were some beautiful songs.

There was this one intro where Ranma is on his female form wearing a green outfit on top of a tree while Akane is beneath it, now that song, I dont know the name, was really truly one of the best damn intro songs ever. I think that in matters of intros, mainly Samurai X had similar impact in me as Ranma did.

Overall, I liked the series because as I was in high school and was constantly getting crushes and i always liked to wait until the evening when the show was on and laugh for a bit and think how could would it be to have hot chicks all over you all the time like Ranma had.

If i saw an episode now I would probably get one of the worst nostalgia trips ever as honestly, Ranma was there during one of the most troublesome stages in any boys life for me, puberty. I dont know if it helped or damaged me but it certainly was a big element.

Dammit now, I am all teary eyed. Good times man, simpler times.

Probably one of the most enjoyable mangas i've ever read, I've never seen the anime though is it any good?
